Bro no matter how you look at it, dude used strong words on a public platform against a sitting President.
That's not acceptable anywhere. Do that even in the US and FBI will definitely put you on their radar.
But the other man says "The Dog And The Baboon Will Be Soaked In Blood if he loses election".Those were not strong words? Security operatives could not do anything about it! When you talk about rule of law, it must be balanced. Equity and justice must cut across every facet of it.

It appears in Nigeria, Laws are only made for the poor.

cool

No big deal parading a suspect, you just have to do it with dignity and have preliminary evidence

Bill Gates and many Top people have mugshots and picture of them paraded as suspects

Parading suspect help gather more information from the public, and also not to seem like they got Kidnapped it is done everywhere in the world just that they put some decency

To the People throwing Insult, let me use Evans the Kidnappers case to explain, It was after Police IGP team Paraded Evans live on camera that all his victims started showing up to testify, after the arrest of Woodberry and Hushpuppi by Dubai CID they were paraded which got FBI and Interpol with some Organisation they defrauded to extradite them

.
You did not address the emotional injury / trauma Dele Momodu talked about.

TheRareGem1:
I don't agree with shehu sanni on this....it does not work like that in Nigeria especially where the citizens do not trust the government, Some might say the vaccine will kill them so therefore, they won't take it but when they see the number one citizen and the number to citizen of the country on live television taking the jabs, I think that will give them sense of trust so is the way to go even in the developed countries subject to the kind of privilege whereby he the prime minister or the president get the jab on live television
The main point of what he wrote is "Giving Nigerians the same brand of vaccine the leaders get" Always identify the main point of the matter before you reply. The emphasis is not on television show as he has said!

Be realistic.

Basic technology to meet our everyday needs as an African country is ok for now. Those latest technologies you talk about cost a lot of money. That is not how you want to spend scarce resources.

We need to channel our energy and resources to where we will derive maximum benefits for the masses. Electricity is the key one now and I believe the transformation in that sector will be huge in a couple of year's time. Notice again the strategy that Buhari's govt adopted with Power. They went straight into partnership with Siemens the German giants. That will cut off all the corrupt and middlemen leeches who have derailed past attempts. Just sit back and enjoy the transformation in that area in a couple of years.

My advice - it is better to support efforts of a govt that is determined to make things right. By all means, criticise their shortcomings constructively so they can learn. What I find really distressing is the bile and negativity even when progress stares us in the face.
That's why I emphasized Electricity. Trust me you will realised that 50% of our problem will be solved with Electricity. Artisans, industries, trades, business, entertainment, tourism all that will come alive to boost other economy. "The wealth of a Nation is not what they stand on (Oil), but what they have up stairs (Brain). We may have brains in this country, but I'm sorry to say it....you and I know we don't use it!

All theory no practice.

You actually think it makes economic sense for Nigeria to Invest in Hyperloop technology as poverty stricken as the country might be.

Some of you just make people take you as unserious.
Your left thinking brain just focus on Hyperloop? Will electricity not make economic sense for a country like Nigeria?

Is Electricity not the bedrock of every development and indeed the economy? Do you know why we are caught pants down? Simply because you haven't reasoned that if we have stable electricity, the economy will gradually take shape and Hyperlooop will not be as "hyper" project as you think.

When we have leaders that have political will, building a modern city and economy is not an issue.

You read everything I wrote, but you were blind to read the part I mentioned Electricity. Even the rail they brought is still locomotive. In 2021.....Locomotive. Please think straight. I've been to over 150 countries in all the continents of the world. I've not seen a country sloping downward as Nigeria.

Which state in the USA has implemented hyperloop for mass transit?
Great Nations take front sit in technology development. Shame to our current leaders....they are always late in everything. Need I remind you that when Awolowo brought Television to Western Nigeria, France as a country has no TV station. That was how proactive we were before!

We

Why did you pick USA? The system has been tested as the 6th form of transportation. We mustn't be the last to try any new technology. Forward thinking cities like Dubai and Maharashtra has approved the development of Hyperloop for their cities. Development takes a while and the earlier we start the better.

Even Trams are not available anywhere in the country? This is 2021, we really need to have a serious thought about the administration of this country.

Is Electricity a rocket science? We just lack the political will in this country. That's All. That's our major problem.

For a successful revolution, there must be willingness and consciousness from common men not for selfish interest. During the endsars protest, consciousness arose from people who wantee drastic change in the system not anyone imposing anything on anybody.

You don't fight for people, you fight with people.
What killed the End Sars Consciousness was because there was no figure head. A true revolution, protest, coup, overthrowing a government will always be lead by someone. Name it....Mandela, Babangda, Buhuuu, Mohamed Bouazizi et al. When there's a figure to rally around, the End Sars protesters will not just be killed like Christmas fowls as we saw in October. Infact, killing them would have been more damaging to the government.

I've been to several so called sane climes, It is not as sane as we Nigerians portrays them. And I've been on Judge Judy show myself, it is often scripted and acted. While it is in her right to demand 100trillion dollars, this kind of actions will trivialize the issue before the masses. That's why you can see the general response of the public. I don't want to believe she made that demand anyway. I think it's some funny bloggers trying to cash on and cook up stories here.

They just made a mockery of the issue. Just Collect #500K and feed the boy well for 2weeks and let him rest well as well. Betterstill give him a 5 star treat at Obudu cattle ranch. The boy will get back to shape in no time.

As per the mental and emotional trauma, it may come back to be something positive for the boy later in life. You never can tell!

I'm not supporting maltreatment of any child, but this 100million noise is rubbish. If that's how it is, many of our parents would be millionaires by now because na real Koboko (Horse whip) I chop through out my schooling days.

Remember to celebrate and recreate after delivering on each targets. It will set the tone right for your next target.

Kalaba:
Am I the only one that gets charged up whenever I listen to or read the lyrics of the National anthem, especially the 2nd stanza. One reason I love watching national team football, there's something spiritual about the national anthem and there's everything spiritual about this country, and until we return to the one above who giveth directions, this country may never move forward.

What a wonderful rendition.
What an experience.
#TheExperience of Peace.
My brother, that's the spirit behind every national anthem. It is meant to enliven and embolden the citizenry spirit. Any rendition that does not motivate or charge anyone is just a "bullsheet crap". Beyonce even gave a better spirit lifting rendition of our anthem than this mockery they showcase here.

You are not the only one that listen to the wordings of our anthem. Everytime I recite it in my adulthood, I always say this Anthem is power packed. It is really very inspirational. You know another thing I like most is the Pledge.

Yes the Pledge. Those words are deep. I would like our government officials to be reciting it at every functions instead of the Anthem to remind them it is a commitment pledge. Either case, neither the Anthem nor the pledge should be sang like this rubbish here.
