The translation that made this unclear statement is the King James Version which your JW brothers prefer to accept because it stated in 2Pet 1:1 "God and our saviour Jesus". But they ignore that this same translation also stated "God and our Father" in 1The 1:3 implying that God is different from our Father.

This is the reason why I choose a better translations that stated "our God and Father" in 1The 1:3. And it so happens that this better translation stated in 2Pet 1:1 "our God and Saviour Jesus" implying that Jesus is both our God and Saviour.

So tell me, do you think this better translation is incorrect and the unclear translation is correct just because
