Jesus didnt waste his time .... He achieved the followin:

1) Forgiveness Of Sin: we are prone to err as human, through Jesus ransom sacrifice, a sincere person can receive " forgiveness of sin" Col 1:13,14 without havin to slaughter rams and cow as sacrifice .

2) Serving God with a clean conscience: .... The blood or ransom sacrifice of Christ " cleanse our consciences from Dead works, so that we may render sacred service to the Living God" - Heb 9:14

3) HOPE of everlasting life on earth :

"let Ur Kingdom Come ,.... And YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH as it is in heaven" - matt 6:9,10

" the gift God gives is everlasting life through Christ Jesus" Rom 6:23

" the righteous shall possess the Earth and they shall live forever on it" - psalm 37:29 !!!

YES correct .... Jesus takes away the sin of the world , and thus we all now have hope !

But before any son of Adam can benefit from what Jesus has done And be resurected to live forever, this are the criteria :

Those who use faith in this provision and obey Gods law are d ones who will have the hope of been resurected to everlastin life , while others will be destroyed - john 3:16

Jesus told Martha " Your brother will rise." ..Martha Replied " I know he will rise in the Ressurection at the Last Day"- John 11:23,24

An example of someone who wont be resurected is found in John 17:12

" When I was with them I used to watch over them... And i have kept them, and not one of them is destroyed EXCEPT the son of destruction"
! By callin him ( Judas) the son of destruction .... It means Judas is destroyed and has no hope of a resurection

This makes us remember proverb 11:7 that says:

" when a wicken man dies, his hope perish"

So also Job 36:6 dat says

" God WILL NOT preserve anyone wicked alive"

Sheol or Hade literally means "place of the dead". The closest English word to interpret this is "Grave".
Jesus described this place (hade) in Luke 16:19-31 when he was talking about the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
Luk 16:22-23 "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. AND BEING IN TORMENTS IN HADES, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom."

Could Jesus be referring to the grave or a place of the dead which was divided into two, the soul of evil people are tormented in one side and the soul of good people enjoy in the other?

If the soul is not immortal and if Hades is grave how could a dead and buried man be tormented in the grave?

If you read the book of Enoch you would know more about Abraham bosom and Sheol or Hades. It was a book read by most of the Jewish scholars as at that time and it goes into deeper details on What the Hebrew called Sheol.

Gehenna is the greek word for hebrew Gehinnom ( valley of hinnom) ..... In the greek septuagint translation gehenna was used in Joshua 15:8 where valley of hinnom appears

The word translated as Hell in the old testament is Sheol in Hebrew.
This new testament was written in Greek and there are three different words translated as Hell.

Now to your 1cor15:24-28, Note that from the time "the word" took flesh (Jn1:14), Jesus became of two natures (God and man) united in Jesus Christ. It is this new humanity of Christ, which was resurrected, that all will be subject to. Note that as "the word" all things were already subject to him from beginning, for all things were made by him (Col1:16), but as human, he merited the subjection of all things because of his redeeming of mankind.

Now it should rather be obvious to most people that God would not be reffering to the Davidic king as " God" !! THE RSV translates the passage as " Your divine throne endures forever and ever"- psalm 45:6 this captures the sense of the passage.

We can see from a review of the original passage that God is NOT identifying the Ancient Davidic King Getting Married to the princess of tyre as "God" , BUT is refferin to the fac that he sits upon a divinely established throne (1 chro 29:23) , NW reads in hebrew 1:8 " God is your throne forever and ever"

The fact that verse 9 says : thats why God, YOUR God annoints you !!! God cannot have a God or someone to annoint him, God's God or what ? Shows that there is a serious problem with the trinitarian translation

My cousin sis lost her mom at 15 before she died,they were constructing a farm for her,so she died before they brought the cows,two weeks after her burrial our grandma went through with her plans finished with the farm and brought the cows home,we were looking at a kraal,When my auntie(my cousin's dead mom) appeared she walked through the kraal,smiled at grandma and disappeared in one of the cows,that was her way of saying thank you..
So yes there is more to life after death than what we read in books(bible included)

I Really Feel for ur cousin sister who lost her mum , thats very painful ..... But my sister, while her mum is alive , they do things together and she will neva see her daughter and dissapear !
