Sorry for the delay o. Hustling things....

So this is the link: https://iigs-group.com/

I spoke with Apex Learning UK and they confirm they are partnering with IIGS ltd to deliver the courses. I also spoke to IIGS. It is authentic. Go to IIGS website and get the coupon to buy at the discount. The British government is even buying the course for their citizens in the Skill for Life program; so the course should be good then. (https://www.qualifications.education.gov.uk/Qualification/60324946). I asked the IIGS people to join nairaland so they can answer questions directly here. I don’t know if they will sha o.

It's £349 with coupon code on IIGS website or if paying in naira its =N=279,000.00. It is more expensive without the code.

I copied this from their website:

5. The courses are accredited by TQUK, one of the leading Awarding Organisations in the UK. TQUK is recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in England, CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland, and Qualifications Wales.

So that's it o my people. And for those that are asking.....It is worth coming here as a worker. The student route is good if you cannot get the tier 2 visa but coming directly to work is sweeter. So goodluck guys!

Congrats dear. I am waiting for my own positive news. i applied for the same visa on tuesday.
mzapplication:
Hello good people,

You may recall my "saga" of making the wrong application category - Settlement instead of Tier 2 Dependent.

I am here to share the good news that I have finally gotten the correct visa (within 2 weeks of applying). In everything I thank God.

I now need some advice..

As we all know the vignette visa required us to travel within the 30 day period which I have done, with my 2 children. I have collected all of our BRPs. We stayed for a week.

The issue now is that I had to come back to Nigeria to tidy up a few affairs, close out on projects at work, clear the Nigeria house, sort out some family matters.

I reckon I will be out for about 2 months - after which I will move to the UK finally. My husband is still working and living in the UK

I hope I am not flouting any rules? I am seriously considering getting a lawyer considering the costly mistake of earlier...

Many thanks house.

Hello house,
please this is very urgent, I submitted my application at the UK office at VI on Tuesday and also did my biometrics, I applied for a tier2 dependent visa of which my husband is the sponsor, the kind of visa I applied for is usually called Tier2 PBS or categorized under work visa l, but when I got to the office, I was told all my original documents which I brought that were not in A4 paper size should be photocopied to that size e.g my marriage certificate and our wedding pictures, I later got an email from TLScontact asking me to create an account, which I did and when I logged in, I realized I was registered on their website for visitors visa less than 6 months and that wasn't what I applied for, and i dont want to get refused due to their mistake, please what can I do? I don't want to get refused, and would I still need to post the original documents to UKVI? Please I need your help before it's too late. Thank you

Hi, i am about applying for mine too. I am shocked that you were asked to get A4 copies of your wedding pictures

this thread is not really for you. You need to apply for a tier two dependant visa please don't make the same mistake I made. This thread is for spouses of British citizen and citizen with indefinite leave to remain which is different from tier two leave to remain.

PS: you don't need to change your name, you can do that anytime you want.

Thank you. Is there a thread i can visit based on my category.

When you apply for Tier 2 dependant visa, your surname plays no relevance......

Even if your Name is - Caramel Cookie and your husband's Mr Doungnut Icecream, it does not matter......

All right. Thank you.

Please guys i have a question to ask. Do I have to change my visa to my marital name before i start my UK spousal visa application. My husband is on the tier 2 visa category. My passport with my maiden name will expire in 2021.

You remember those tiny colourful baby hair packers? U can use so many to pack u hair, down to the tip. You use one leave a little space, use another, keep going till you get to the tip. Prevents ur wet hair from coiling back

WAYS I GOT STARTED ON THE HAIR REVAMP ROAD
After I arming myself with the necessary information from hair blogs and praying to God almighty for strength and success, my hair journey commenced proper. I began in August by texlaxing (applying relaxer to the roots for a few minutes)my new hair roots to stretch my hair in order to properly trim the old and weak relaxed tips. I have managed to stretch my texlaxing till date with these tips and routine below:
-HAIR WASHING- I normally wash my hair weekly and begin by spritzing my bamboo tea concoction on my hair, then I detangle to remove shed hairs, pre-poo overnight or for two hours (prefer overnight because of my hair’s low porousity nature) with my hair trigger concoction on my scalp and my coconut oil and peppermint oil down my hair length, then I wash my hair with grinded paracetamol(to eliminate dandruff) mixed in Crème of Nature Shampoo (Sulphate-free shampoo), after that I condition my hair with a moisturizing/hydrating conditioner ( I don’t use the volumizing ones because its best for whites and people with limp flat hair), rinse it off then do my bamboo/rosemary/green tea rinse, then I deep condition for 30mins with my caramel mixture (moisturizing conditioner)or organics hair mayonnaise(protein conditioner) depending on what my hair needs at that moment, finally, I rinse off and apply my gentle touch leave-in , a little serum and coconut oil, detangle hair with fingers and style.
-I co-wash once a week also, then deep-condition, apply my leave-ins, then style.
-I always go out with my head covered with a scarf or umbrella to avoid its exposure to direct sun-rays. This has adverse effects on the hair like bleaching (browning), drying of hair cuticles, and scalp burning.
-I use serum because it is very necessary as it acts as a sunscreen for my hair in order to prevent heat related damage.
-I use a wide-toothed comb only on hair wash days and comb from tip to root and never from root to tip, then I finger detangle on other days.
-I trim my hair myself, once in two months.
I sleep with a satin scarf tied on my hair.
I stretch my hair using local thread or by wet bunning (using multiple tiny ruffles) down my hair length. It is a better alternative to using hair stretchers.
I bought a hair length check shirt (contact me if you need), which I use monthly to monitor my hair growth progress.
P.S ! For any answers to your questions, you can send me a personal message.
