Betrayal by a protegee isn't a noble act

We rise by lifting others

If Davido and Olamide baddoo decided to act like Burna boy and Wizkid... who go blow

Ask Mr Fabura a former Civil Servant ,how he spends his monthly security vote, office running cost, estacodes as a Governor

Is he better than his benefactor Wike who brought him from a minimum wage civil servant to a public office holder

.
Fubara should have waited and waited to use development to create a base for himself before beginning to feel like the boss who got himself there all by himself.

He should have been smart enough to do it like Fashola did. Work so hard for the people so that the system in your state won't even contemplate fighting against you. This how Fashola survived and got his second term.

I can never support betrayal. He's now dinning with Wike's enemies who never wanted him in the first place.

If you listen to Wike's interview, you'd know he meant well for the guy.

Melagros:
The political dynamics in Nigeria is dramatic and full of setbacks, some governors resisted the gentleman's agreement they had with their godfathers and made headway, unfortunately, others could not!
Please permit me to be brief/to summarise

KATSINA STATE: Shema vs. Yar'adua; Shema defied Yar'adua orders, sacks SSG who's Yar'adua's relative

ADAMAWA STATE: Atiku vs Haruna; when Atiku became the vice president and he wanted to dictate leadership for Boni Haruna but the later resisted and served his people

GOMBE STATE: Goje vs. Dankwambo; after Goje worked hard for Dankwambo to succeed him to pilot the affairs of the state thinking is gonna be a smooth ride but his boy rebelled against his boss which till date they are not in good terms

AKWA IBOM STATE: Attah vs. Akpabio; Akpaboi who's the current Nigeria's senate president also had altercations with his former boss

AKWA IBOM STATE: Akpabio vs. Udom; Udom had dished out what Akpabio dished to Attah

ABIA STATE: Kalu vs. Orji; when Kalu wanted to remote-control Orji, but Orji almost killed the political career of Kalu in Abi State

ANAMBRA STATE: The Ubas vs Ngige; if Ngige is not a strong politician the Ubas could have messed him up in that state

EDO STATE: Oshiomhole vs Obaseki; Obaseki warned Oshiomhole that Edo State is not Lagos, immediately Oshiomhole behaved himself

RIVERS STATE: Ameachi vs Odili; Ameachi silenced Odili's political career in Rivers State

RIVERS STATE: Obj vs Ameachi; Ameachi defied Obasanjo's 'K leg' syndrome and became a governor

DELTA STATE: Uduaghan vs Okowa; when Okowa became governor citizens thought that Okowa would become a 'boy-boy' for the former, but Uduaghan was silent throughout the tenure of Okowa

RIVERS STATE: Wike vs Fubara; currently Fubara is on the final phase of sealing political domination of his predecessor

KADUNA STATE: El'Rufai vs Uba; Uba has already sent El'Rufai packing from the politics of Kaduna State and El'Rufai is on exile right now

KANO STATE: Kwankwaso vs Ganduje; unless it takes the intervention of God Ganduje has shredded the political career of his former boss

IMO STATE: Okorocha vs Uzodinma; Uzodinma has sentenced the political structure of Okorocha to life imprison

However, the case was different for some governors who tried to defy their godfathers orders and those governors received the greatest humiliation of their life/political careers

LAGOS STATE: Tinubu vs Ambode; Tinubu dealt with Ambode mercilessly to the extent that Tinubu forbade Ambode from succeeding for second term

LAGOS STATE: ...what was the circumstance that led to the elimination of Funsho Williams from the political arena of Lagos state?

LAGOS STATE: Tinubu vs Osinbanjo; Tinubu prevented Osinbanjo from succeeding Buhari

OYO STATE: Ibadan big boy vs Ladoja; when Rasheed Ladoja tried to challenge his godfather, Ladoja was humiliated with impeachment

OYO STATE:...what was the mystery behind the assassination of Bola Ige?

OGUN STATE: Obasanjo vs Osoba; Obasanjo allotted only one tenure for Osoba for trying to defy his orders

OGUN STATE: Obasanjo vs Bankole; Obasanjo vowed that in his life time, Bankole will never rule Ogun State and it's playing out

OSUN STATE: Aregbosola vs Oyetola; when the later dared the former, one term became his national anthem

KWARA STATE: Saraki (sr) vs Adesina; since godfatherism exists in that state, Lam Adesina served that state only one tenure, Saraki (sr) removed him and replaced him with Saraki (jn)

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen
Thank you all
Yaradua was not a godfather to Shema. Shema was a PDP lawyer recommended by OBJ, since Yaradua was elevated, they told him to wash his hands off who succeeds him. Shema was sent from Abuja.

Attah didn't want Akpabio, but Akpabio being a commissioner for LGs, he has the grassroots presence and used that to his advantage. Akpabio's can be likened to that of Umahi who succeeded Martin Elechi as his deputy against his preferred candidate, the then minister of health who had the backing of presidency then.

Lam Adeshina was not a governor in Kwara state, it was in Oyo state. The person you're talking about is Muhammad Lawal( Up Lawal).

Lam Adesina fell to the OBJ machinations to capture the SW in 2003 - Tinubu was the only one that survived that onslaught. Below you can see a file of his prepared to be buried according to Islamic rite where you have Fashola, Ajimobi, Amosun, Tinubu, etc, in attendance.

I don't think Fubara would continue on this part. He should have waited a little before betraying his boss. I don't think he has the experience to manage Rivers - so he should have been a bit tactical in his fight.

Equally, the chairman of the Tribunal granted the prayers of Adele to compel INEC to also grant him access to Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and other electronic materials used within 48 hours.
Good one. INEC should tell us the use of BVAS, if it's for decoration or ornamental purposes or just to check over-voting, they should tell us.

INEC and her co-travellers who went to Kogi, instead conducting free and fair election, went to give results to the ruling party and made the election a business venture should be arrested.

Cc Caseless.

I'm happy. 😂
I'm happy,too, bro.

Anything that makes that arrogant Yahaya sad makes me happy. I don't have anything against his candidate, I just don't want to see that failure called Yahaya rewarded.

If he's allowed access to electoral materials, then, it'd be good. They haven't given LP the chance to do that yet in Imo.

Yahaya is apprehensive that anything can happen, hence the way he's attacking his cabinet members and freezing state and LGs account. He never wanted Muri to get up to 50k votes like they did to Dino, but he wasn't sure his people would be smart not to attack their own people because of an Ebira man.

Thank God the judiciary is at the eye of the storm right now - they'd be careful with how they sell judgement.

Tinubu should use this opportunity to deal with Yahaya and prevent him from bribing judges. Yahaya almost cost him the presidential ticket and went against the resolutions that power should shift to the south. Muri is more APC than Yahaya. So, they should support him and he'd still come back.

Muri is coming.

A very unpopular Governor he was. It was during his administration that students spent almost one year at home because he wouldn't pay state government teachers their salary and they embarked on indefinite strike

Hrle was so unpopular that he became the only PDP Governor who did not get an automatic ticket to run for a second term in 2003. He decamped to some other party, ran for a second term and failed woefully

I remember being at a pool side wedding at Presidential Hotel Enugu when when he was Governor, which he attended. As soon as he walked in with his entourage, he was booed so much that the MC had to beg people to stop

Bianca Ojukwu walked in shortly after that and people over hailed her to show Mbadinuju how unpopular he was
Atiku said he found out about students staying at home for 1 year and went back to tell OBJ that if he can neglect education that much, then he doesn't deserve to come back and that was it - they forced him out. Hashidu of Gombe didn't come back too.
Politics › Re: 2023 Elections: Appeal Court Slams INEC, Says It Acted Irresponsibly by Caseless: 6:39am On Nov 25, 2023
No court has come hard on INEC like this one did. INEC should be held responsible for their own actions. You can't be sending people to field to work for you and when they do what's wrong, you come to defend them or the wrong process.

The SDP candidate in Kogi election said he's not going to court because he feels the same INEC that helps politicians to rig comes to court to defend the elections and its attendant irregularities.

The electoral act should make it mandatory for inec and the winner to prove that they did the right thing and the winner won.

Every INEC staff involved in any compromised election should be sacked and it should go beyond asking them to issue CoR or conduct another election. It should also be made that in every election they conduct shabbily and rig in favor of a candidate, and the court proves that, the entire people in the commission loses their salary for 3 months as part of what would be used to conduct a fresh elections.

Imagine an adhoc staff having 1m in her bag on election day.

However, PREMIUM TIMES’ review of the results uploaded on the INEC Results Viewing Portal (IReV) shows that Peter Obi of the Labour Party won the presidential election in Rivers, contrary to the declaration made by INEC.
Obi's case didn't enrich our electoral jurisprudence or processes. He should have fought the battle making sure the IREV figures in state like this are collated for him, even if he's not going to have the majority, that would make INEC to situp, but they focused on certificate and just being declared the winner.
