A woman has been left devastated after her pictures were leaked on social media. According to reports, the woman allegedly sent the nude picture showing her face to a total stranger she met on Facebook and after trying to blackmail her all to no avail, the controversial pictures were leaked online.  

Human rights activist, Emeka Ugwuonye, who shared the picture - warned ladies about sending their nude pictures to male partners.

He wrote; 

Seeing your excessive reactions about a woman that gave out nude pictures, I did not want to inform you about another woman that did worse. This one is more stupid because her face showed. She showed her everything and now she feels like dying when her picture goes viral.

By the time she came to us, the blackmailer had distributed her nude pictures. It is harder for us to intervene if the picture has been released. But we will still take steps to punish the man that did it. That will be a gradual process. We rush only when there is a chance of preventing it.

It is really unfortunate that a woman would send her nude pictures to someone she does not know, a total stranger she met on Facebook. It makes no sense.

But I have a problem with most of our members. What the women did is an act of stupidity. It is not a crime. The real criminals are the men. Why do you condemn stupidity more than you condemn criminality? Why?

A deaf and disabled Nigerian immigrant is facing deportation after 34 years in the United States. Anwana, 48, lives in Detroit at an adult foster care facility, helping mow the lawns and mop the floors at a nearby church.

According to reports, Francis Anwana born and raised in Nigeria, Francis Anwana was just 14 years old when he came to the United  States on a student visa. He was deaf, couldn't talk, and had cognitive disabilities, enrolling at the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint. 

But in a shock to immigrant advocates, the U.S. now wants to deport Anwana to Nigeria. Given his severe disabilities, it would be a virtual "death sentence" for him, said Susan Reed, an attorney with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center. 

Because of his disability, Anwana can only read at a second-grade level and is unable to mentally grasp the fact he could be forced to go back to Nigeria, according to advocates and his lawyer.

On Wednesday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement told Anwana he would be deported on Tuesday, Sept. 11, according to advocates for Anwana. After the advocates raised concerns, ICE told them Friday that his deportation has been postponed. Anwana has a meeting with ICE set for Sept. 21.

Several years ago, his visa was not renewed because he was often moved around from group homes and caretakers lost track of his case, said local advocates. They repeatedly tried to get him a path to citizenship, but failed. He has no criminal record, advocates say.

Two suspected cultists/kidnappers were apprehended by a vigilante group at Ojuwo-Afu, in Igalamela/Odolu local government area (Ajaka axis) in Kogi state. 

The suspects identified as Abdulkarim Idris a.k.a Firefighter and Atene Amade a.k.a Mad lion, were said to have perpetrated numerous kidnappings in the past especially along Idah-Ajegu-Lokoja road but got away with it as they allegedly have strong political backings.

The news of the arrests of ‘Firefighter’ and ‘Mad lion’, has excited the villagers but there are fears their godfathers who are said to be rich and influential will soon negotiate their release.

They are therefore calling on Nigerians to help them spread the news so the police IG, Ibrahim Idris will come to their aid.

Some Kwankwasiyya members who were travelling to Abuja ahead of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso's official declaration on Wednesday, have been involved in a fatal accident. According to reports, the Kwankwaso supporters were on their way to Abuja from Kano state, the senator's area before the tragic incident.

Many passengers were injured and some others feared dead in the crash.

Meanwhile, other supporters have successfully arrived Abuja for Kwankwaso's presidential declaration on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Former Governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwaso has accused the Federal Government of trying to frustrate his official declaration to run for President earlier slated to hold at the Eagle Square Abuja on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

This was made known in a statement issued by Kwankwaso Campaign Organisation on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.

Two young men were severely dealt with by a traditional ruler after committing an offence in Zamfara state. According to reports, the duo were nabbed for allegedly stealing and rather than hand them over to the police or allow them to go free, they were handed over to the traditional ruler who decided to treat them in his own way.

The men were tied as the aged monarch flogged both of them mercilessly, leaving them in tears.

Other residents in the community looked while the public punishment was going on.

A hunter from Akwa Ibom state, has taken to Facebook to show off his big kill. According to Blessing Akpan, the pioneer SUG president and graduate of College of Health Technology, Akwa Ibom, he killed the bush pig yesterday in Ini local government area of the state - after hours of hunting.

It was an emotional sight at the funeral service for the family of five including a two-months-old baby who died in a fire outbreak at Dansoman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.

Family, church members and sympathisers have gathered at the Methodist University school park to commiserate with Pastor Ato Kessie, the Dansoman District pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA), over the fire incident which happened at his home on Sunday, August 19th.

The deceased including a pastor’s wife, three children and mother-in-law were burnt to ashes when fire gutted their storey building.

Pastor Ato Kessie, was not in the house at the time the incident happened.

According to reports, the victims were trapped by the security burglar proof at the entrance of the room and could not run out of the house.

All the 5 family members perished in the accident none survived. The late Mrs. Kessie was a teacher at Valley View University (VVU) basic school.

Nigeria’s local airline, Air Peace Airlines Limited, on Saturday, took delivery of a Boeing 777-300 aircraft in readiness for the commencement of its international operations.       

The new aircraft, a 320-seater Boeing 777-300 christened  “Ojochide” and marked 5N-BUU,  touched down the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 1.37p.m. to a traditional water  salute by fire fighters from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

The arrival of the aircraft considered as one of the biggest and most complex machines in aviation industry, makes Air Peace the first Nigerian airline to birth two of the wide-bodies Boeing 777 (better called triple seven) aircraft series in the country.

But unlike the Boeing 777-200 aircraft flown into Nigeria  by expatriate pilots, the arrival of the Boeing 777-300 aircraft was greeted with more fanfare by aviation industry professionals as the aircraft was this time flown into the country by two Nigerian pilots – Captain Victor Egonu (who was the Pilot-in-Command) and First Officer Emmanuel Iwhiwhu (who was the co-pilot).

The B777-300 aircraft has 12 first class, 48 business class and 260 economy class seats.

Managing Director/CEO of Air Peace said the airline had invested in four of the Boeing 777 aircraft, and that with two already in the country, the airline was expecting the last two before the end of the year.

A mild drama ensued yesterday after a man decided to drag it out with his masquerade in Amaoka Uli area of Anambra State. In a trending video footage posted online, the man identified as Christopher Kalu can be seen holding and dragging the masquerade in public over money as passersby looked on.

The man shouted at the masquerade to bring the money he has made for the day during a traditional event in the village. 

The man who says he owns the masquerade, prevented him from going anywhere while saying that he should kill him or else he should provide the money he made. 

While the drama was going on, residents and passersby laughed as they watched the "entertainment".

According to reports, a Nigerian man has been killed again in South Africa. The deceased was said to have been killed by fellow Nigerians following the cult war going on in the country. The deceased was murdered yesterday in Gezina area of Pretoria, South Africa, in related secret cult attacks as report also has it that 2 other Nigerians have also lost their lives in the same war going on.

Just last two weeks, a 28-year-old Nigerian, Okolie Olileanyi Paul, from Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, was killed by a fellow Nigerian in South Africa.

He was stabbed during an argument that resulted in physical combat.  The sad event took place in Roodenport West Rand on August 17 in the wee hours when an argument ensued between the duo.  This resulted in a fight and the assailant stabbed the deceased to death with several deep cuts. 

The Nigerian suspect identified as Mr. Donald Mordi, has been declared wanted by the South African Police for alleged murder.

The presidency has said that Nigerians killed in South Africa recently indicated that they were killed by fellow Nigerians, unlike the past when South Africans were killing Nigerians.

A young lady who just graduated from Kogi State University, was among victims involved in the tragic accident which happened some days along Zariagi-Lokoja road. According to reports, the fresh graduate was preparing for her mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in two weeks time before the unfortunate incident. 

Three people were burnt to death and five others injured in the fatal accident on the highway in Kogi. 

Nine people and three vehicles–Toyota Carina, Scania Truck and Mack Tanker– were involved in the accident.

The deceased were burnt alongside the vehicles, while the injured were taken to the Federal Medical Centre in Lokoja.

The Okene-Lokoja-Abuja highway is classified among the deadliest road corridors in Nigeria.

We know they must have eaten and even drank. but the point is that they cleared the table before taking picture. Most Nigerian "big boys" will snap picture with expensive bottles of drinks everywhere just to show their "haters" that they are successful.

A Nigerian doctor has issued warning to women concerning undergoing medical checkup for fibroid following recent surgeries conducted on women affected.

The surgeon whose mission is to save as many people especially women and heads the Benjamin OlowoJebutu Foundation (BOF), took to social media to share gory pictures of massive fibroid removed from women's wombs after operation. 

The doctor wrote; To God alone be the Glory. Its imperative we know as ladies the herbal medicines don't work at all .Both ladies had it for 10 and 12 years and had taken all sorts. Go for checkup and get it sorted..

The sixteen female members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who were arraigned earlier today at the Magistrate court in Owerri, Imo state, discharged unconditionally. Their release sparked celebration among fellow pro-Biafran supporters. 

The IPOB women were arrested and remanded in custody for demanding to know the whereabouts of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The women, who protested on the streets of Owerri last Friday before they were arrested and arraigned in court on Monday, also asked the Federal Government to conduct a referendum for the creation of the Independent State of Biafra.

They threatened that the 2019 general elections would not hold if the referendum was not conducted.

According to reports, one of the sons of former vice president and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential hopeful, Atiku Abubakar, was involved in a motor accident. He was said to have been involved in the car crash along with his Portuguese friend while on their way to Jada local government area of Adamawa State..

Atiku's son was reported to be in his father's official vehicle with the number plate 'Waziri Adamawa' (Atiku Abubakar's chieftaincy title).

It was gathered that the vehicle veered off the highway and landed in a bush as his security details and other aides rushed to scene. 

No one died in the accident, according to reports.
