Three police officers and one man have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and abducting people in Kaduna state. According to multiple reports, the Policeman are identified as; Aliyu, Sani, Belli and one civilian who was allegedly given them information about the victims.

The suspects were arrested by police operatives who have taken them into custody.

A man from Bayelsa state - was surprised after he saw a giant turtle crawl into his compound. According to an online report, the giant reptile caused a scene which attracted a whole lot of persons in the area. The creature was later taken into "custody" as its final fate is yet to be determined.

Two brand new Toyota Camry cars were given to lucky winners as souvenirs after a raffle draw.

A fuel tanker was suspended on the Nkpor flyover, along Onitsha-Enugu expressway after an accident. It was gathered that the fuel tanker suffered a brake failure as it tumbled and got stuck on the flyover. The accident which recorded no casualty- happened during the Anambra governorship election.

A young man from Benin city, Edo state capital - killed a African rock python with the help of some youths in the area (Benin). According to reports, the huge python was killed after being stoned to death after it was sighted by the group of youths.

A pastor reportedly healed a mentally challenged man and an insane woman in Ibadan, Oyo state capital. According to reports, the pastor first spotted the mentally unstable man in Ibadan as he reportedly healed him after prayers. The man's hair was shaved as new clothes were provided for him after the deliverance.

The pastor who also met the mentally unstable woman in Ibadan, is said to have healed the woman after praying for her too as she was taken to the hospital after her deliverance.

Men, women and youths of Omuma Local Government Area were led by the lawmaker representing them in Rivers State House Of Assembly, Hon Kelechi Nwogu to stage a peaceful protest against the alleged incessant extra judicial killings and impunity perpetrated by Akin Fakorode led FSARS in Rivers State.

The people came out en masse and marched from Port Harcourt City Council to NUJ complex in Port Harcourt to hold a press conference, wherein Hon. Kelechi Nwogu called on president Muhammad Buhari and IGP Idris to stop Amaechi from using the compromised SARS to destabilize Rivers State.

The lawmaker also condemned alleged criminal activities of operatives of Special Anti Robbery Squad, especially the alleged killing of three unarmed teenagers in Ogoni and the attack on Governor Nyesom Wike's convoy.

Omuma people warned that nothing should happen to Gov Wike while serving out the mandate given to him by Rivers people. They also appealed to other Nigerians and the international community to prevail as they urged Muhammadu president and IGP to remove Akin Fakorede from Rivers State, and fish out the bad eggs among SARS.

A man would have been probably smiling to the bank had it not been for sharp passersby who spotted him while trying to hijacking a Mercedes Benz. After he was spotted, security agents in the area were notified as they swung into action immediately and apprehended the suspect who tried to resist arrest.

Two young men were shot dead by operatives of Nigeria Police force yesterday morning in Okigwe local government area of Imo state. According to information gathered online, the boys identified as Ekene and Skana - were said to be notorious and had been terrorizing residents in the area before they were killed by the security operatives.

This is very unfortunate. A man identified as Tima Numbere, died an "unnecessary" death after he was attacked by armed robbers at Dline in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital four days ago. The man was beaten and the criminals hit his head with a gun and made away with all his belongings.

Tima died on Sunday at a hospital due to poor health system and lack of effective power supply.

According to reports, Tima had fainted after the robbery attack as he went into coma and was diagnosed of blood clotting in the head. He was admitted at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) and was on life support.

He eventually died when there was power failure and the hospital could not change over to generator on time.

He successfully cheated death in the hands of armed robbers but died due to laxity in our health system. May his soul rest in peace.

Scores of criminals have been arrested by the security agents on Kogi central following the successful operation of “Operation Lion Roars”. More than 30 criminals comprising of cultists, suspected kidnappers, armed robbers and other criminals terrorising the area had been arrested.

“Operation Lion Roars” is a joint task security force comprises the Military, Mobile Police office, State Security Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp.

The operation which started last Thursday affected all the five local government councils comprises Okene, Okehi, Adavi, Ajaokuta and Ogori/Magongo all in Kogi central.

Skeleton racing is a winter athletic sport that involves an athlete sliding down a steep ice track with their head down on a sled. The sleds have a bony, skeleton-like appearance hence the name Skeleton. It is considered the world's first sliding sport.

Skeleton race begins with the athlete running from the beginning of the ice track before they start sliding on their sleds.

The sliding sport can be dangerous and in some instances, it has caused a loss of lives. The speed at which the athletes move can cause fatal accidents.
