It's a very sad moment for the family and friends of Sgt. Sanusi Lanre of the IG special intelligence Response team IRT, who was shot in Delta State on 8/11/17 during gun battle with kidnappers that abducted four British citizens in the state. The gallant police officer died after a surgery was conducted on Thursday to remove the bullet and rectify the damages caused.

One of the abducted British citizens was reportedly killed after he and three others were kidnapped in October. His colleagues were freed why he was murdered.

Reports have it that the IRT Operatives trailed the ring leader to Sapele. On sighting the detectives, he pulled out a pistol and shot two police operatives, Sgt Sanusi Lanre and Sgt Agunbiade Adebayo.

One of the kidnappers was however gunned down by other police officers while two others were arrested alive.

The wounded police officers are on admission at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, (DESUTH).

This is very sad. A man died tragically on a farm and was found after several days in decomposed state. According to reports, the deceased with other laborers went to a maize garden for land preparation on Wednesday. He reportedly told his friends that he wanted to fetch mice in the surrounding garden and never reported back.

According to a Facebook user who shared this, the man was found dead by herders on the farm.

Police operatives reportedly visited the scene and the deceased was buried at the same place, since the body was in decomposed state.

A Nigerian soldier, Silas Ninyo (93NA / 36/2608), was allegedly shot dead by the captain, T. Mani, who had attempted to stop him from beating innocent civilians in Chibok, Borno State.

According to reports, the shocking incident is said to have occurred on Sunday afternoon after a team of soldiers, led by one Captain T. Mani (N/14430), was providing security for worshippers during Sunday service in Chibok and received a distress call that Staff Sergeant Ninyo was beating civilians for unknown reasons.

Captain Mani, accompanied by soldiers, moved to the scene and freed the civilians. But while trying to disarm the errant soldier, Captain Mani was shot dead by Staff Sergeant Ninyo, who later shot himself dead after killing four others.

The corpses now remain in Yola.

This is very sad. A young lady simply identified as Victory - has left her family and friends in sorrow following her demise. The lady who was involved in a fire accident on Monday, passed away today from injuries sustained in the mishap. The worst part is that she died today which is supposed to be her 20th birthday. May her soul rest in peace.

A woman has been accused of brutalizing and injuring her own stepdaughter at Ikorodu area of Lagos. According to Peter Williams, the woman claimed that her own daughter was wounded with a razor blade by her stepdaughter as she decided to retaliate by cutting this little girl's two hands and legs.

According to reports, the woman has been arrested and the case transferred to Ogijo police station in Ogun state.

My people Look at what a wicked step mother did to her step daughter in my area at ita oluwu area off sagamu road, ikorodu, Lagos. The report we gather concerning this matter is that the step mother accused this young girl of using razor blade to cut her own daughter but the truth is that the girl knew nothing about it at all. The girl two hands and one leg damage. The girl is a student in my school.

Controversial Nigerian pastor, Prophet Andrew Ejimadu popularly known as SEER 1 of Christ Freedom, has claimed to have healed a 28-year-old man simply identified as Anthony who allegedly became pregnant after sleeping with his master's wife in his absence. The pastor who is currently in South Africa, claims the young man was healed by his anointing oil.

Anthony is a 28 years old boy, he has been serving his master for the past 6 years.

Twelve months ago his master travelled to China to buy goods, at night the wife to his master went to his bedroom and seduced him, forcing him to make love to her.

Starting from that day Anthony became pregnant, a baby was always moving in his tummy, he went to the hospital and the hospital confirmed that Anthony (a man) was pregnant.

They took him to everywhere including so many churches but his condition worsened.

This is very sad. A Nigerian man identified as Ibrahim Adam Mailafiya, who recently bagged a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, has been unfortunately killed by men of the underworld. According to media reports, Ibrahim was murdered by armed robbers on his way to Kano after his arrival to the country.

A man identified as Enu from Emu-Obodeti in Ndokwa West LGA of Delta State, yesterday chopped off neighbor's flesh in Port-Harcourt over a foiled attempt by the neighbor who intervened as he attempted to allegedly attacked his own wife.

According to reports. the incident happened yesterday when the neighbor (victim) by name Tornu Bari aka National escorted Enu's wife back home after she received a distress call from her husband.

Enu and his wife prior to the time of the incidence have been having series of issues and misunderstanding which led to Enu allegedly threatening his wife of murdering her, which made the woman run for her safety to seek refuge in Tornu's nephew's house where he lives with his wife.

Yesterday night, according to reports, Enu's wife received a distress call from her husband saying her attention is needed urgently at home as one of her child is seriously sick.

Considering the time and how the call came, she requested that Tornu escorts her home without knowing it was a ploy by her husband to deceive her back home to murder her as he had earlier threatened, but unfortunately for him, as soon as he was about attacking the wife who stepped in first, Tornu intervened and out of anger that Tornu had foiled his plans, then went after Tornu with a broken bottle and chopped off a pound of flesh from his right hand.

Tornu has since been admitted at Life Forte Hospital in Rumuolumini, off Iwofe road, Port-Harcourt where he has been recommended for a plastic surgery, meanwhile, Enu have been on the run as the police have been on his trail.

Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe, influential politician and business mogul, celebrated his 79th birthday in a low key fashion with family and friends at his residence in Abuja yesterday. Chief Charles Ezekwem Ikemba Okigwe, Imo PDP Chairman alongside former Governor of Imo State; Chief Achike Udenwa Onwa and other top leaders across the state were present in Abuja to show solidarity to the maverick politician.

The 79-year-old multi-millionaire had vanished from the limelight since he was defeated in the 2006 primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party to elect a senatorial candidate for his Orlu Imo state constituency.

He claims he's hale and hearty after a photo of him looking sick went viral few months ago.

A man got more than he bargained for after he was caught stealing in a neighbourhood in Nasarawa state. The man who is said to be married - was publicly humiliated in front of children and other residents as he was tied to a pole after his clothes were stripped off.

The man looked visibly shocked as children made jest of him during the embarrassing parade.
