Some Boko Haram militants began de-radicalisation process recently after surrendering themselves voluntarily to security operatives in as community in Cameroon. According to the former militants, they became tired of the deadly terrorists sect due to hunger, hardship and the incessant killings of their members - hence they decided to choose drop their arms the right path.

The ex-terrorists began their reintegration process in society with the first step: swearing an oath with the Holy Quran as seen in the pictures.

Edo musical Icon, Ambassador Osayomore Joseph who was kidnapped on the 3rd of October, 2017 has just been released. The veteran musician, Osayomore Joseph who was kidnapped shortly after he performed at the one year coronation anniversary of the Oba of Benin.

According to reports, the musician was said to have regained his freedom in the early hours of Thursday (today).

Osayomore Joseph Jr, his son confirmed his father's release to journalists as he added that the family is making arrangement for a medical check up.

Yesterday, former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, was arraigned at a Federal High Court to testify as a defence witness in the ongoing trial of former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh. The former NSA's appearance followed an order of the Federal High Court for a subpoena to be issued on him, through the directorate of the State Security Service, SSS.

Mr. Dasuki has been in the custody of the SSS for over a year despite court orders for his release. He is being prosecuted separately for alleged mismanagement of funds while in office.

Metuh is on trial before Justice Okon Abang for allegedly receiving the sum of N400m from the Office of the NSA under the leadership of Dasuki before the 2015 presidential election.

An ex-convict recently released from Enugu prisons, Monday Okoro who claimed he hailed from Obinkita Arochukwu Abia state and his gang member identified as Chidiebere Oke who also claimed he hailed from Onueke Village of Ebonyi state, have been apprehended by the Enugu state police command for their allegedly swindling their female victim of some amount of money and also gang raping her and later placed her on the verge of making payment to them anytime they call her.

Their victim who happened to be a lady narrates her ordeal as follows: On that fateful day being 26/10/17 I came out from our street to Emeka Abalu in Phase Six Trans Ekulu Enugu to board a tricycle going to Enugu Town and unfortunately ran into this keke Napep with some boys and unknown to me that they are fraudsters and hoodlums operating as tricyclist and from there they started telling me that they are foreigners seeking for a certain address before I knew what was happening, I lost my consciousness and was taken to where I was gang Raped by three of them after collecting all the money in my possession.

The Victim added that they later left her at that place and left but continued calling her the following day with a threat that if the remaining balance of the money is not paid that the man that owns the chemical for the production of the currency will add another money and that will be too bad for them and that she should remember the oath taking of not revealing the transaction to any body to avoid sudden death.

It was further gathered that following the incident was promptly reported to Trans Ekulu Division of the Nigeria Police Force Enugu state command as officers swung into action.

While operatives were looking for them with their Keke, information got to them that same men have been caught by some angry mob around Park Avenue axis of the state who descended heavily on them. The operatives got to the scene and discovered that they are the same people being looked.....

According to police report, the suspects are helping the police operatives in their investigations in relation to their alleged fraudulent activities and Rape.

They revealed that they usually hire Keke Napep and pretend as if they are Keke Napep operators within Sani Abacha Trans Ekulu and Phase six axis to enable them get their victims. Manhunt have been intensified against the fleeing Keke Napep driver.

Below is a picture of about 70 teenagers, aged 12 to 17 who were arrested by the police at criminal hideouts in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The police said the teenagers were abusing drugs including Indian Hemp and that they were also engaged in heavy drinking of alcohol.

According to reports, the police said they won't arraign them in court but would counsel them in the presence of their parents and release them.

Meanwhile, two couples were also arrested and paraded at the police command for armed robbery and gunrunning. A couple supplied the arms while the other couple undertook the robbery..

Three suspects who allegedly kidnapped the Managing Director of Ogba Zoological garden, Mr. Andy Ehanire., have been arrested. Mr Ehanire, was kidnapped by the hoodlums on Sunday 24th of September 2017. In the process of his kidnap, three police officers who were stationed at the Zoo and Nature Park were shot dead.

The suspects were tracked down and arrested yesterday evening following a massive hunt for them. According to reports, they collected over 25 million Naira and $100,000 from the Ehanire family.

This is very sad. A young man identified as Kingsley is currently in pains after being a victim of stray bullet in Abuja. According to Amanda Chisom, Kingsley who just got married barely 5 weeks ago - reportedly went to a store in Wuse 2 Abuja to by somethings on the 18th of October, where two police men fighting with their guns shot him on the leg, according to the report.

One of the policemen is Akpabio Daniel attached to Maitama division in Abuja.

Now report has it that the doctors are insisting the man's leg must be amputated.

Photos of the man was shared online in a bid to get justice for him.

Concerns have been raised about an Oyo based pastor after a mentally deranged woman identified as Mary with a one-year-old baby, was recently found near University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo state capital. When the woman was questioned by the people who found her, she named a pastor as the baby's father.

To back up her shocking story, the woman provided pictures - showing her posing with the pastor during her pregnancy and after childbirth.

When the pastor was contacted by a radio journalist, he refused to comment on the issue and allegedly threatened the reporter not to air the story.

Nigerians who are familiar with the story after it was aired on Splash F.M, feel that the man strongly knows about the woman's baby judging from "facts" on ground.

Few months ago, RRS operatives in Oshodi arrested one Seun Jimoh, 18, for pickpocketing. Jimoh, a trainee auto – engineer, abandoned mechanic work for pickpocketing in Oshodi on the ground that it was more profitable.

Jimoh, decked in brown jacket and trouser, and a hand bag like a corporate executive, as at the time of his arrest had already stolen four mobile phones from unsuspecting commuters in an early morning rush in Oshodi.

He was removing N18, 000:00 from the pocket of a commuter during another bus stampede when he was caught.

Unknown to Jimoh, two of his victims were on the lookout for him after suspecting him for being in possession of their missing phones.

While standing at Oshodi Under Bridge, they spotted him removing N18,000:00 from the pocket of another victim, Gbenga Odeniyi.

At this point, his earlier victims, Onuh Austine and Onesimus Paul raised an alarm, which made Jimoh to promptly drop the money and take to his heels but RRS operatives close to the scene chased and caught him.

The operatives after listening to all the accusations requested the victims’ phone numbers which were dialled and they were found in Jimoh’s handbag.

Jimoh upon interrogation confirmed to have stolen the two phones during a bus stampede. He added “on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I am always in Oshodi pickpocketing. I steal an average of eight phones on Mondays and maybe like nine phones on Fridays. I don’t really get more than five phones on Wednesdays.

If Jimoh’s new found auto – workshop for pickpocketing was Oshodi, this next suspect patronises selected events and gathering for his victims.

Joseph Adeoye, 22, dressed in black suit was arrested in Ikeja at the commissioning of a shopping mall. He had stolen the mobile phone of a shopper from her handbag when he was spotted and arrested at the event.

He confessed to RRS interrogators to have stolen several mobile phones and wallets in the same manner. According to him, ‘I live in Ibafo, from where I come to Lagos visiting choice gatherings to pickpocket’.

Congratulations are in order for a woman who recently welcomed a set of quadruplets at a hospital in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. The new mother and her babies (three male and one female) are said to be in good health after the delivery.
