The three members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), who were arrested at Alaoji Aba on the 12th of November 2017, by Army personnel attached to 144 Battalion under 14 Brigade Ohafia and remanded in Afara Prisons in Umuahia, Abia state, have being granted bail and released.

The IPOB members who were charged for distributing Flyers of "No Election In BiafraLand Until Referendum Is Conducted", had their case taken over by IPOB Legal Team which also perfected their bail..

A ghastly motor accident was recorded today after a truck conveying alcoholic drink (Legend) crashed at Atiku Abubakar Itam flyover in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state - crushing a tricycle (Keke Napep) and injuring its occupants. The incident caused a huge traffic gridlock in the area as the damaged crates of drinks were evacuated from the road. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. See photos below;

The Enugu state commissioner of police Danmallam Mohammed has commended the operatives of the Anti Vice Squad of the Nigeria Police Force Zone Headquarters Umuahia for smashing suspected notorious Armed Robbery squad along Udi Ozalla Road and recovering their weapons.

Danmallam gave the commendation when the team visited his office with the Divisional Police officer Awkunanaw Division Csp Mike Onuh on 4/12/17 to brief him on the success of the operation in which the operatives had on 4/12/17 at about 8am through intelligence information and a well coordinated operation along Udi Ozalla Road, launched an onslaught on the hideouts of suspected hoodlums and in the ensuing gun battle, three of the suspected hoodlums were fatally injured and later confirmed dead just as their weapons were recovered from them.

It was further gathered that the ensuing gun duel between the operatives and suspected hoodlums may have left some of the fleeing gang members of the deceased hoodlums with various degrees of injuries hence the command is advising members of the public particularly hospital operators to watch out for those that will visit their hospital with injuries suspected to be that of bullet and report promptly to any nearby police station or formation for necessary action.

A set of secondary school boys decided to take their celebration of finishing their final exams to a whole new level by carrying their colleague up with his motorcycle. According to a Facebook user (from Kogi state) who shared the photo, the students did this in order to celebrate their secondary school graduation.

Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Al-Makura during his inspection tour yesterday - stopped a motorcyclist a.k.a Okada man who was carrying at least pupils on his motorcycle. The governor challenged and warned the okada man not to repeat Same so as to avoid causing problem to the people's children.

The governor gave one of his cars to his aides to take the children to their house. This is indeed a good gesture.

A socio-political analyst, Benny Umoren, has revealed how a young lady was allegedly raped by one Francis after their meeting at a bar in Ebonyi state. According to Benny Umoren, the victim tried to harm the alleged rapist in his sleep after taking advantage of her multiple times and giving her N1000 for transport after the whole act.

Below is what Benny Umoren shared online with screenshots of Facebook chat with the alleged victim as proof;

Was just about dozing off last night, when I saw this message; Hello ma, I just got raped. I swear, the sleep cleared from my eyes. Her rapist took away her phones. Raped her twice in the morning and at night.. Both times with no condoms. She's a young girl, helpless. She wanted to kill him in his sleep, but someone here managed to talk her out of it.

Here's an update on the matter

Three days ago, as I was about to sleep when I received a distress message from one Chukwu Esther that I should help her , she just got raped by one Francis after their meeting at a bar in Eboyi state. I tried getting more details from her but she was so broken she was bent on harming him in his sleep rather.

Throughout that night, I was awake with her till she went offline, He seized her phone when he woke up and saw she was chatting. Early hours of yesterday again, He repeated the rape and gave her #1000 for transport . She said she wanted justice and because she might not be able to get legal justice, she opted to take law into her hands ,this which I tried so much to prevent and was successful

Then I took up the case yesterday after hearing from her , have her make a report at the civil defense office , rape department Ebonyi.

I got her password and her Facebook username and instigated a chat with Mr Francis, He seems to be a very very hard one to crack as he kept saying she didn't sex her ,nor force her home, neither did he rape her. Like a rapist will admit? All effort to make him confess was abortive. And he began to threaten. And said;

" Never try to blackmail a Man under grace" .

I called again yesterday and spoke like it was Esther, after denying not s3xing her at all, he said " Didn't I give you #1000 after everything?? I have the recorded calls with me.

I was told by the Victim to bring this to the public while legal actions are being taken , I demand to know how Esther got to your house after the meeting Mr Francis, How you gave her #1000 after denying that you didn't even see her yesterday and why you took advantage of her.

On Wednesday, 29th of November, 2017, history was made as the secret cults members denounced their membership and vowed to turn a new leaf in Imota community.

The Eiye, Ayee, Alora and Buccaneers fraternities were engaged in oath making at the Iledi Osugbo Shrine of Imota, in the presence of HRM Oba Ajibade Agoro, the Ranodu of Imota, Chief Akinsanya Gbeminiyi, Oliwo of Imota, Chief Olabinjo Oyefolu, Apena of Imota, Chief Adebogun Olumuyiwa, Olisa of Imota and other top hirachy in Osugbo, to affirm their decision to denounce their membership from the secret society and ready to embrace new life.

At the Iledi Osugbo Shrine,, the repentant Cultists revealed their interest of relinquishing cultism, while the Chairman of Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Agoro, seized the opportunity to inform the traditional heads of the zeal and determination of the youths of the community to completely jettison cultism. He added that the repentant youths confided in him to desist from violence and any form of thuggery and hooliganism in Imota community.

Shortly after the oath taking, they were all received at the Palace of HRM Oba Ajibade Agoro, to properly reintegrate them into the society. They pleaded with the king, Chairman of Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Agoro and Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Edgar Imohimi to assist them to secure better job so that they can make meaningful impact in the society. They welcome any form of empowerment that will be initiated to rehabilitate them.

The front Palace of Oba Ranodu was full to capacity with over 250 repentants. The repentant cultists surrendered all the ammunitions in their possession to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Mr Edgar Imohimi in the presence of Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja, member Lagos State House of Assembly, Prince Wasiu Agoro, Chairman of Imota LCDA, Area Commander, Area N, ACP Garba Ahmed, the Comander, 174.Battalion in Odogunyan, Lieutenant Col. BC Eze and others, to affirm their commitment in renouncing cultism and everything attached to it.

Congratulations are in order for Munonyedi Kelvin Egbo, who graduated with flying colours from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. According to the First Class graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nuskka (UNN), he made a distinction in each of the course he took during his MSc degree programme in Sustainable Energy at the UK university.

The young man is also Graduate Assistant at University of Nigeria. Congrats to him..

An unclad corpse was discovered around a refuse bin at Anitigha in Calabar by officials of the corp. No one knew how the dead body got there. Kudos to a young man in Ghana has got himself trending online after designing a bicycle which rides on water. The young man identified as Frank Darko revealed that he was a final year student at the Takoradi Technical University, Ghana - pursuing a course in Graphic Design before he deferred the course due to some personal reasons.

The young inventor revealed that the special bicycle is his first invention and it was built in four months as he started working on it since August this year.

A Nigerian man, Abdullahi Yusuf, has recounted his experience with a patriotic citizen, Arhyel Dibal, who loves the country so much that even his clothes, wristwatch and his house all bare the Nigerian flag colors; green, white, green. Read what Abdullahi Yusuf shared online.

His name is Arhyel Dibal, a native of Wandali Village in Kwaya Kusar local government area of Borno state, though he is a resident of Biu town. He is a Lab Technologist by profession, and married with four children two of which are graduates.

Last week I went to meet this patriotic Nigerian and from his cloths, shoes and his wristwatch, cap they are all green white green in colour. Not only that his office is a symbol of the kind of love he has for this great nation as he rightly described our country. He told me that even though, he knows that President Muhammadu Buhari loves Nigeria, but he think he loves Nigeria more than the president himself.

I asked him, how he started this His green white green revolution, and he said for the past thirty years he has never buy any cloths that is not green white green in color. He said the only time he wears clothes that has different colors, is when The Emir of Biu gave him some royal clothing as a gift. I thought its only his clothing that is green white green, until he showed me the pictures of his house which to my amazement is also painted green white green. I seek his permission to visit his house because I visited him in his office, and he gladly directed me to the house.

The house was beautifully designed and painted in green white green with Nigeria map designed at strategic points. Even the tiles on the floor is green white green in color. I met the wife, who told me that it's because she was working in the farm that day if not she too always wears the green white green. She told me I was a bit late if not I would have met her daughter who was also dressed in green white green. She told me that even though their house is not on the main road, but hardly will a day passes without them having visitors who always came to see the house. His car and that of the wife are also painted green white green.

I returned and met him in his office, and I ask him why he is so passionate about Nigeria, and he said, he is where he is today because of Nigeria. He told me that he was opportune to be trained abroad, and he also visited many countries across the world courtesy of Nigeria. He said while he was in school abroad. some nationals of other countries use to ask him some silly questions about Nigeria. He said its only in Nigeria that people don't show much love to their country and he want to make a difference.

A woman identified as Perebi Nicole Otubo has been declared Nigeria’s most wanted human trafficker. According to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for Human Trafficking, the lady has been linked to an International Human Trafficking ring that specializes in trafficking young girls from Nigeria to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for sexual exploitation (prostitution).

The woman was recently jailed in Dubai, UAE, for Human Trafficking. She was released in July 2017 and is currently at large, hiding somewhere in Nigeria, according to reports. Her accomplices and recruiters in Nigeria have been arrested by NAPTIP and are currently facing prosecution in court.

One Miss Odinke Sylvester, a second year Community Health Extension Worker student, has been accused of pouring a hot water mixed with pepper and salt on Mr. Ethoti Uno, the President of Community Health Department, College of Health Technology, Calabar, Cross River state capital.

According to Adat Adat Obona, a administrative Staff at the College of Health Technology, Calabar, the victim Mr Ethoti was at the practicum site at Abini Biase LGA on Friday to address some abnormalities bordering on misbehavior exhibited by Miss Odinke Sylvester, when fight broke between the two of them and Odinke resolved to bathing Ethoti with combination of hot water, salt and pepper.

Mr Ethoti is currently receiving treatment at Cottage Hospital, Akpet Central.
