SAUDI SEND TROOPS TO SYRIAhuhis this a joke?..lol...and by troops they mean the machete weilding, wahabbi salafist, takbir shouting, head decapitating terrorist in military fatigues?they will be given a rousing welcome by HEZBOLLAH,and the various shia militias from iraq, iran, lebanon all the way to afganistan!the army who is yet to defeat the HOUTHIS in yemen despite the huge investment in dat war...the saudis cant dare enter syria alone without assist from US and the west...least i forget,,THE MAJOR REASON THE SSA(SYRIAN ARAB ARMY) and hezbollah are advancing in all fronts in the syrian battle is coz almost all ADVANCING INFANTRIES ARE HEADED BY A RUSSIAN COMMANDERS and heavy russian artilaries...there're two tinz that can happen now, either SAUDI AND HER GULF ALLIES WITH TURKEY SURRENDERS AND ADMIT DEFEAT,or they send their various troops into syria, thereby violating international law and starting WORLD WAR 3!!intresting times ahead!!.
Lmao at the bolded.

But one thing I find unbelievable in this episode is the US's reaction to the whole drama. I'm yet to come to terms on why the U.S. Suddenly grew cold in this saga, why aren't they aiding the moderate rebels again? Why is the west groping in the rope to get a favorable bargain with Russia? Why has the west shifted from it neck -stiff opposition to Assad to a more diplomatic deals with him.

These reactions sometime tells me that there is more to this Syrian imbroglio than the eyes meet. But writhin me, I feel vladmiri Putin should be crowned the award of the greatest politician and diplomat of the 20th, 21st, and 22nd century, lol!

All them terrorists apologies and Russian hating trollers down here will be put to shame, and they shall withdraw back into their hasbara shell of hate and shame.

Now, the UAE, Satan Arabia are preparing to send in ground troops into Syria for obvious reasons, prompting the Syrian government to issue a strong warning that serious consequencies would follow should that happen. I tell ya, the empire is about opening another front to up the level of hostilities against the Assad regime. Don't think for one second that this nations are doing this out of their own volition, just as Germany nudged on the then Austria-Hungarian axis against Serbia in the debacle that led to WW1 in 1914, (for which Russia mobilized to defend Serbia), the US is nudging this nations to up the scale of violence against Assad, for which Russia is again, bound to defend. Coincidence? History is about repeating itself right before our eyes.
Alois lrlmaier's prophecy quickly comes to mind.

Believe it or not: the road to WW3 lies in Syria, unless those that governs the cosmic order thinks otherwise.

We are in for a long walk in the Middle East!
I might be wrong, but somehow I find great confidence in Putin. I believe Putin will win by the end of the day. I remember how the west predicted doom and made all sorts of negative prediction about Russia's incursion in Syria, but all those predictions have been proven wrong.
So again, I do think Putin will keep proving cynics wrong.
PoliticsRe: Not Easy To Get Evidence To Probe Diezani - Buhari by castrogee(m):
I knew Buhari and his co-charlatans have no evidence against Diezani, Jonathan and Iwuala.

The sad truth is that Buhari and APC are not ready for governance and by extension are confused on how to govern, and In order to hide their incompetence they embarked on a media frenzy in the guise of fighting corruption.

I only feel sorry for the average Nigerian who has been used and dumped and is being used again.

I am actually in support of the Russian intervention Just not impressed by the way Putinbots are taking everything the Russians are doing at face value. Any serious person will know that no one can put Syria together again and no matter how much military power any coalition add to the conflict, Terrorism wont end there and it is all about geopolitics and power projection. Just tired of the Russia is the good guy US is the bad guy simplified logic most NL anti west members are trying to portray lately.

You were amongst the most informed persons I have met in any online forum, and I loved reading your post for its great insights, but now the opposite is just the case. infact I think you are losing this information war much as America is losing credibility on the world stage.

Breaking News!

According to a Syrian Army official, government forces have retaken the town of Baksa with the aid of Russian air support.

"The Syrian Army faced steep resistance from well-trained and experienced militants, who previously fought in Afghanistan and Iraq," General Samir Suleiman, political chief of the Syrian Army, told reporters.

"However, fearing Russian airstrikes, they abandoned Baksa."

The town was captured by Nusra Front militants in the beginning of August. A Russian airstrike three days ago destroyed an arms depot in Baksa, greatly damaging the militants' capabilities.

Suleiman also added that the bodies of approximately 40 civilians were found in the town, murdered by the terrorist group.

Roughly 140 sorties have been carried out by the Russian military since the Syria campaign began.

On Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry released video of airstrikes conducted against the self-proclaimed Islamic State terrorist group south of Tertiyah.

This has been my opinion and stance on Nigeria issues. There are so many divisions in Nigeria geopolitical space, and with such division it will be impossible for the country to move forward.

But be it known to you that you might have also unintentionally contributed to this predicament, particularly as it relates to Sirshymexx. I remember in a certain thread, you were Urging him not continue posts or spend much of his time down here, because of his vast knowledge of geopolitics; and for the fact that many posters here don't have what it takes to engage in sound geopolitical analysis, rather than insults
Mehn, you are too-much (so you still remember), I have actually forgotten that I told Shymex to reconsider his stance on issues.
However, What I was trying to say by my statement to shymex, is that he should stop engaging in some vague e-debate. You know if you remember that thread very well you will know that over three pages were filled with (insults) and the likes, no sane person likes this. Here in Nairaland we share a common heritage - in that 90% of us are Nigerians, and to be quite frankly Nairaland has informed me more than any website in the world - honestly I mean it. In that case knowing that Nairaland is a site where we come to learn, I am most allergic to people turning it to insultland.

So in principle, I was only suggesting to shymex to just state his stance on issues (as you know that the guy is well loaded and heavily informed), and leave the rest of the forumites to draw up their conclusions rather than engaging in e-fight.

Hi Castrogee! Where have you been?

The fact that Russia's secret service could not even see the Ukrainian plot coming, was a testimony to the very policy that was dictating its military and strategic posturing.
I'm fine thank you. it looks like we have lost most of our intellectuals in the house - Foreign section these days have been so dry, that even a desert is more fruitful. I do remember the days of shymex, missy, nairaminted etc. However noticing that nothing much happens on the foreign section again has made me not to be visiting the thread again often.

Nonetheless, I beg to disagree on the above quote, I think the FSB knew what the Yanks were up to in Ukraine. I think they (Putin) allowed it to happen so that they can legitimize their grab of Crimea. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been so swift in the response after the Maiden attack... Also, remember Nulands phone call...

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by castrogee(m): 6:15am On Aug 08, 2015
Forumites,

Please I need an explanation on how the Skilled Migrant program works. But before I proceed; let me give a little background of myself. Currently I'm rounding off my MSc program in the US, and usually after the completion of an MSc program in the US, international students like me are given one year grace to work in the states.

However, having lived in the West (America) I know that as an Immigrant your chances start the moment you become a permanent resident. Conversely, to be a permanent resident (for my visa status) I need at least to stay legal in the US for eight years - many of my friends don't mind staying that long - but for me; I don't see myself staying in the states for eight straight years just to be a permanent resident.

When I evaluated my choices, I discovered that the best thing for me is to migrate to Canada, thankfully Canada has all the goodies America offers, and even more in certain aspects. Now, I am almost done with MSc in Software Engineering, though i did my B.eng in Nigeria majoring in computer engineering. I want to enter into the CIC program but my problem is that right now I don't know how to go about it. Also I'm thinking of getting a paid job in Canada; that I think I can do through online application, and have the company sponsor me for a permanent resident.

Please I need a good Samaritan who can tell me all that is required for this program, and how long does it take for one to get a response.
PoliticsRe: Seven Years In Prison My True Story by castrogee(m): 6:19pm On Aug 02, 2015
Mamboro,

I've followed your threads since yesterday, I could sense that you are in great pain, how I wish I have everything you need to help you. However, I believe if you can hold-on a little (say in 12-18 months time) and continue in God, your future will be far greater and better than your present and/or past.

The reason why things are so rough with you is that God wants to use you as a testimony, don't think you case is the worst in the world. I've been and still a great testimony and I know what I passed through, which as at the time of my testing I never believed I will be were I'm today.

You see I agree 100% that sometimes life is not fair, sometimes it can be the most unfair judge... And at such times life looks meaningless and worthless. Don't kill yourself because of your past, its not worth it, and doing so will make you play into the devils plan for your life.

Like I said earlier, I know how you feel and perfectly understand your case, for I have had similar occasions in the past and I have known people who had worse case than yours, thankfully today all these are now history. One thing you have to make out from your story is to understand that this world is just a temporal place and nothing lasts forever, so just trust and believe and sooner than you expected things will turn-out for the best for you!

I will speak to you some other time.
