risos:thats why your education will continue to be limited. your are more interested in ego on the internet. i am not here to convinve the ignorant. i make these posts because there are others reading it. people like you get blocked after. for those interested. the official Uk gazette is below and the second link is a british account of the war by a british soldier. https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/26303/page/3783 http://www.kaiserscross.com/188001/204201.html |

brain54:since she has lied on many occasions we have no cause to believe her this time. You know the story of the boy who cried wolf that we read as children? it is to train us from childhood not to raise false alarms so when your alarm is real people will listen to you. |
WizardOfNG:they are all rushing to lagos to determine who becomes what in lagos and they leave their zones to miscreants to elect miscreants to represent them. I have never heard any SE senator on the floor of the senate impress me with his presentation, articulation or display of intellect they way senators like Aliyu Wadada or Sani Musa from the North or Shettima when he was a senator, or Gagdi and ELRufai jnr from the house for example. If you actually listen to the proceedings from the house or senate and compare some of the best elected members from the North to those from the SE, You would be forgiven for thinking the North are the well educated region and the SE the backward uneducated people. Even Ben Kalu when he speaks you think to yourself..how did this one become a deputy speaker? |
bigpicture001: dawnomike:1.first of all you need to understand that if your daughter gets pregnant at that age or younger, out of wedlock, you have failed as a father or parent. Unmarried single motherhood is a shame on any father, these are things that happen to girls raised by single mothers. What is the point in having a father if your daughter ends up pregnent out of wedlock at 22? 2. secondly you need to acknowledge that at 22, she is an adult. then i would want to meet the man who got her pregnant and the family he belongs to not because i can force him to do anything but so they know that she comes from a family that cares abiout her not a girl youcan just impregnate and nobody is bothered. That encounter would determine what comes next. In everything fall back to the first bullet point. |
ClearFlair:the biggest reforms in the economy and the biggest blow to corruption have been the fuel and forex subsidies. Both have been in existence since the 1970s. So 50+ years of military mess + NPN mess + Military mess + PDP mess + APC mess.......cleaned up in 2 years, never again to return! |
its not today our police have not had sense and have only desired ways of milking the public. its also a pity today our journalists like rufai and Seun lacke the sense to ask the right questions. I am still waiting for the journalist that will ask how having or not having a tint permit helps or prevents them identify criminals? the truth about the matter is this you ask yourself what kind of person joins the police force? With a few exceptions, if you were one of the brightest of your class would you join the police, be a lecturer or join the civil service? |
press9jatv:take a course in English language. i never said they dont, nor do i care. I said egusi is a yoruba word. |
Our youths are so poorly educated they dont know herbalists and occultist/ritualists are 2 different things. a herbalist cures you with local herbs, a ritualist/occultist are the ones that do jazz. traditional medicine and witchdoctor are 2 different people |
press9jatv:in these days of coveting other people's property and cultural appropriation, it is important to state that egusi is a yoruba stew. it is a yoruba name. I am not going to argue with ibos if they say they have had their own version of egusi from time immemorial or whenever their history started but they should call it by it's ibo name. We yorubas eat afam, ogbono, edi kang kong, you wont hear any yoruba saying they are yoruba stews or they are yoruba names. we dont claim what is not ours others should not claim what is not theirs. We have enough to be proud of what is ours and to leave to Ceaser what is Caeser's and other's who are not ashamed of their culture history and traditions should do same. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egusi Etymology The 'ẹ' means 'to', 'gun' means 'pound' or 'grind', and 'ṣi' means 'to open'; this etymology of 'egusi' soup, meaning 'to grind open', reflects the procedure used in its preparation.[9][10] Egusi stew is now widely eaten across large portions of West and Central Africa where it is known by various local names, many of which are variants of the word egusi itself. Some of the other names egusi goes by across the region include: Yoruba : Egusi / Egushi (Ẹ̀gúṣí)[11] Hausa : Agusi,[12] Agushi[13] (via Yoruba)[14] Twi : Akatowa[15] Ga : Agushi, Egushi[16][17] Igbo : Élìlì,[18] Énìnì, Ekeke, Ahụ, Élìlè, Ilolo, Iroro, Éyìyè, Ogili, Nwanru,[19] Ègwúsí (Onitsha Igbo; via Yoruba)[20][21] Edo : Ogi, Ikpogi Ibibio, Efik : Íkpán, Ikon Fon : Gúsí Nupe : Epín, Epíngi, Paragi Urhobo : Ikpogri[22] Tiv : Icegher Kikongo, Lingala : Mbika[23][24] |
He will be found guilty, the weight of evidence against him is overwhelming. His deputy in Finland has already been convicted…..in a fair, unbiased unconflicted judicial system. The issue now is an issue of pardon after conviction and whether the president will pander to those calling for his pardon and what conditions will be put on any pardon if granted. As for guilty verdict in court, he can’t escape that. |
Arabk25:I watched the video of todays proceedings and saw how educated people, are fawning over him. The question is. What the hell has happened to the ibo race? You have fallen so far from The likes of Zik, okpara etc to this? No matter what you say about Zik, even in opposition to him you are forced to respect his pedigree, his intellect, his presence, his aura, his accomplishments. For God’s sake! If you want to agitate for Biafra, feel free it is your right but please take a second to examine the caliber of people that constitute the ibo leadership today! Jesus wept! No matter what your cause is, the caliber of your representation matters. It is not only kanu, even in politics, who are the people on the political stage that anyone looks at and takes seriously? Is it Kalu, Obi, Okonkwo, that light skin senator from Abia….please these are comedians! Whatever issues we may have, genuine advice…you can do better that the current people that constitute your political leaders. The North that you claim are backward and uneducated don’t put up these types of charlatans as their leaders. Who in the SE can compare to ElRufai, Atiku, Bagu, El Rufai jr, Tajudeen Abbas, Abdullahi Sule, Datti baba Ahmed and his brother, Dogora, Kashmir Shettima as a few examples. Which politician representing the SE can compare in presentation, articulation and presence to any of them? These things matter o. It is as if you deleiberately send your worst, the dregs of your society to represent you. I am not having a dig I am being very serious. I’ll be very honest with you and I am sure I speak for many non ibos. Whenever I see the kind of people talking on your behalf, you’ve already lost the battle even before it starts. It is human nature, in one’s mind one is already disgusted thinking who is this riffraff before me? So you are already starting from a negative. You first have to overcome the natural human bias that comes from my negative opinion of you based on how you present before me before I even consider what you are saying if I ever do.. This is human psychology 101! I can’t remember the last time I listened to an ibo leader and thought wow he is intelligent, I may not agree with him but here is a man I respect. It matters. Who listens to Peter Obi, Kanu, Victor Umahi, Kalu speaker, the senstor from Abia in court today. Trust me nobody takes them seriously because they don’t have the stature or command respect required to be taken seriously. Making noise and people giving you audience because they are obliged to does not mean they are taking you seriously. Who you put forward to fight your causes matter! Here you are fighting a matter the majority of ibos are in support of either publicly or privately and even just look at the ibo lawyers representing you? One looks like he crawled out of a beer parkour and the other looks like a charge and bail lawyer. You think I’d he North or the SW were fighting a case they all supported they wouldn’t send their brightest and most powerful and brilliant SANS? We have all fallen, none of our leaders can compare to Awolowo, Sardauna, Zik etc but time for reflection, you ibos have fallen the most in caliber of leadership and not just that you aren't up to par, you have fallen by a country mile. Your quality of leadership is not just far inferior to your past leadership, it is vastly inferior to their peers today in other regions who themselves are inferior to their past leaders. If I were a politician today, I can imagine that I am dealing with these crop of ibo political leaders not out of mutual respect and admiration or a sense that I am dealing with people on my level but only because I have to by law. It’s the same reason Obi can never become president…..people outside ibo land don’t see him as someone they respect and can take seriously. He is a joke to most non ibos. So he has lost even before entering the race. The biggest problem the ibos have in terms of attaining the presidency is not even the anti-ibo sentiment, it is the calibre of people you put forward....first surmount the challenge of the quality and calibre of your political leaders. |
There is noth8ng wrong with the guy. I heard him on video calling someone an hedeehot in court. This guy is not repentant and must not be released on any medical or compassionate grounds.

Una don give Atiku food! 2 issues here: 1). What kind of people are we bringing into our political space that would forge not 1 but 2 certificates (degree and NYSC) when he did not need them to be a minister? 2). How did he scale through security screening? For the 1st time in all his outbursts, I can’t disagree with Atiku here. Atiku has been putting out petty childish unbecoming statements since he lost trying to compete for air time with that fraud Obi but on this one he is spot on! |
Th case needs to be determined by the Supreme Court because one can equally argue that he is contesting after the new law. |
Enugu is doing 180b, Abia is doing 40b but the way the propagandists talk you will think Abia is the best performing state in the Se because he constructed a 3km road using JB. Anyway congrats to Peter MbA! His progress will shame the others. |
musicwriter:That you have written about this before does not mean what you wrote was accurate. Why would I care to go through your old posts, have you portrayed yourself in our little interaction as someone I should give more time to than I have already? What have you added to my knowledge in this interaction? That I haven’t blocked you already is enough restraint on my part. Even if you have anything worthwhile to say (so far not the case) , your manner of delivery is nauseating enough to desist further engagement. I can stand an arrogant man if he is actually knowledgeable and I learn something. I have little tolerance for posters with little value on an ego trip online. I also do not like people who read but don’t understand what they read. If your English comprehension is poor I can’t engage you. I said the Roman’s invaded Britain centuries before the Anglo saxons. Who are you to make assumptions for me? You see this is why I block people. People who cannot read and comprehend what they read and that start making their own assumptions. Challenge me on what I said not what you think I meant. I am not responsible for how well or poorly your brain processes information or the quality of your education. The point is you claimed English was the original language of the people who inhabit the place we call Britain today and I hope you are humble enough now to accept you were wrong and it wasnt. Everything else is noise. That be the case my job is done. We both established we are not interested in British history. In my last post I said have a good day. That means I want no further interaction with you. If I see your name on my DM,I am going straight to block without reading. I keep a list of blocked people and I refresh all my blocks every 3 weeks. For the last time have a good day! |
SuperEagles:Do you have to ask the question? Who are the people with no history, no culture and no respect for their elders? …and if she isn’t from there she has been hanging out with them. |
musicwriter:Basically you just admitted you don’t know what you are talking about. Oh and by the way the Greeks never ruled Britain..another flaw in your knowledge. I don’t have any interest in the matters of England either but you jumped on my Dm rudely brashly and aggressively professing knowledge you do not have. Ordinarily I would have blocked you immediately. Have a good day! |
Curious345:Comedians! I need to know where you people get your brains. I need a toy to entertain my dog. |
There goes any hope of votes from Kwara! I have never seen a presidential candidate campaign against himself like Obi. |
The guy should resign. He has already admitted the certificate he produced was not issued by the university. What is he expecting the court to say? I am sure he will resign. This is different from Tinubu’s case where in America where 3rd parties are allowed to print certificates. |
A great leader! Many Uncle Toms don’t know how lucky we are to have people like him. |
Morbeta11:These low level quizzes are for students studying the English language and for old people to test they have not developed dementia. Anybody in between who thinks this quiz is fun is only exhibiting the limitations of his education or intellect. |
musicwriter:Again I suggest you read their history. The locals who protested against the invaders and the extinction of their language are the Welsh which is why they changed their name to Cymru. Too many holes in your post. The Romans invaded Britain CENTURIES before the Germans/Scandinavians. That alone shows you don’t know what you are talking about. The Germans have ruled ever since. So the issue of someone coming to bastardize the Anglo (English) language is way off. Every language evolves over time invasion or no invasion. The yoruba I speak today is not the Yoruba my grandmother spoke. I could barely understand her when she spoke. The Yoruba that was spoken 100yrs ago was different from place to place, today it is almost uniform….that’s the normal evolution of language. In fact technically speaking there is nothing like yoruba language because there is nothing like yoruba people. Yoruba was a name outsiders called us but we were Ife, Ekiti, Ijebu, Oyo Ijesha etc people with a language may have had a common origin but was widely distinct from place to place. Just like English today is spoken differently in Liverpool, Birmingham, London and surrey. There is a universal yoruba language but it is distinctly different when you get to the villages. And this is not just about accents. |
Morbeta11:Upscale your intellectual level of engagement. This is for primary school kids. This is the kind of quiz we played in primary school…this is not for educated adults. I also suggest you go back to school or read more to expand your vocabulary. You clearly don’t know the meaning of sarcasm. Your limited vocabulary failed you because sarcasm is not the word you are looking for for your vocabulary is not wide enough to convey what you want to express. |
