Whoa! So you never ate indomie as a kid? I also don't use magi or any seasoning, and I don't use sugar at all. But that indomie...I got so used to it as a kid and it's so hard to shake off. But I did it for a few months last year. I guess I have to do it again.
Thankfully indomie wasn’t around when I was a kid and it is banned in my home. We never fed our kids with indomie.

Most of them about to go into extinction.

The Chinese have taken over! If you e driven Ana electric car you wouldn’t want a petrol engine anymore especially in Nigeria. No maintenance and even at Band A it cost N12-15k to fully charge.

Jelili and his fellow mechanics better find new work.

Thanks. I try to stick to one processed food once a week. Last week indomie for 2 or 3 days, next week is bread. But mostly I eat natural foods...beans, rice, Pap, yam, sweet potato, etc.
Even that is too much. You have just listed 2 of the most dangerous foods. Bread and indomie. I have never eaten indomie in my life and never will!

I also don’t use magi cube….another poison!

Thanks for this information. No wonder Americans have high cases of cancer, diabetes and the likes. I watched one American actress' interview last month and she said she shuttles between America and Ghana, and that she feels healthier when she is in Ghana. She said after just 1 week of eating food in Ghana, she feels her body getting healthier.
Just make a rule: avoid consuming foods that don’t occur in nature. Once in a while won’t do harm (which is how these foods get approved) but people eat them all the time.

Let me tell you even poundo is not good for you: eat natural pounded yam or avoid. Look at the ingredients in poundo, it contains added starch. The body processes naturally occurring sugar in unprocessed yam differently from processed sugar in man made starch, just like it processes sugar from fruits differently from refined sugar in coke!

Make a habit of looking at the ingredients in anything you consume: if it has a name you don’t recognize, especially a scientific sounding name,it’s almost certainly not good for you but allowed because you are not expected to consume regularly!

As for indomie, look at the list of ingredients (always do this for any food) look at the e- numbers (E621or Monosoldium Glutamate, E627 etc …indomie contains 9 E-numbers) some associated with things like colorectal cancer and google what they are.

The coke we drink here is the type they use to wash engine and toilet in obodo oyibo cry
All coke is bad but theirs is worse than ours. We use sugar, they use high fructose corn syrup. Bad as sugar is corn syrup is worse!

What you displayed there is an inferiority complex plus arrogant ignorance!

Above American coke
Below Nigeria coke

Also note the amount of sodium in their coke compared to ours!

Don’t allow slave mentality to lead you astray, not everything foreign is good!

My advice to you: stay away from American foods. If you must consume foods from multinationals pick the one Made for the European market and avoid the one made for the North American markets. American market foods are all chemicals!

I go to supermarkets and I see all these groceries from America and I think to myself “my people suffer from lack of knowledge”. Avoid processed foods but if you must pick the one for the UK or European market and avoid anything food from the US!

Th last picture is coke from the UK. As you can see it is sugar not HFCS. They have higher standards for foods in the UK and Europe.

Remmember as a rule: if it is food and from America don’t buy! Canned milk is not milk and indomie is chemicals, it is not food: You will thank me in your old age when you are not dealing with cancer!

EDIT: I’ve just realized they have changed the formula for Nigerian coke and have added sucralose. It used to be sugar alone…..Avoid!

Politics › Re: Gale Of Defection: What Really Is Wrong With The PDP? by casualobserver:
I will simply repost 2 of my posts in response to the topic. The long and short is that PDP from inception was never a democratic Party. The problem lies in its origins and purpose. Its purpose was to give the military boys a soft landing into civilian rule. It held on to power through imposition, impunity and most importantly rigging not consensus and compromise which are the hallmarks of democracy. It then made the critical error starting with Yaradua or trying to reform the electoral process and make rigging (the basis of its electoral success) harder and things fell apart. Without the ability to rig like before and having lost power, it’s internal undemocratic nature came out and that is what haunts it today!

casualobserver:
PDP was a military construct. It was the anointed party for the transition. Even the presidential candidate Obasanjo was hand picked by the military. That you had civilians does not mean it wasn’t a military construct. Look at a lot of the top brass in the PDP from 1999, a lot of them are ex military. OBJ,Babangida, David Mark, Bode George, Oyinlola, Nyako, Jang, Atiku, Alamieyeseigha, etc. Even late yaradua that became governor of katsina in 1999 became governor because he is from a military family! Go through a list of the PDP chieftains and governors senators etc, you will be amazed how many of them are ex military, police customs, DSS, NSA etc or people who were “friends” of the forces particularly the military. PDP was a creation of the military. That is where you will find the Ex military/ ex forces boys because it was their party.

Tell me which opposition party in 1999 had retired military men? They were all in PDP because it was their soft landing transition party.

It was their creation, like all military exploits they use civilians just like politicians use civil servants to do their dirty work….so don’t be deceived.

I know many of you are young and may not know many of these people are retired military. Go through the top brass in PDP from 1999-2007 and check their backgrounds. They are either military, police, customs, DSS, NSA, etc. even Anenih ex PDP chairman is ex police!

Party chairman ex police
President ex military
Vice President ex customs
Senate president. Ex military
Numerous governors and senators ex one force or another

And you expected such a party to behave democratically?

It is that legacy haunting g them today!
casualobserver:
PDP was never a Democratic Party. It was a creation of ex military generals with the purpose of transitioning power from military to civilians. As such it operated with a military mindset…. With impunity, Imposition, dictatorial, command and control, do as I say structure It’s undemocratic nature was masked because it was in power. It unraveled when it lost power because it is not rooted in compromise, give and take and other democratic principles. As such it didn’t know how to handle being in opposition and those who tolerated the impunity deserted it when there was no cake to share!

They are now forced to learn how to be a Democratic Party.

PDP is not dead and will be back but it needs to realize its priority now is rebuilding the party, reducing the influence of those with the old tendencies and forgetting about winning presidential elections for now.

I always knew you would write a fruitless epistle to defend your 'criminally soaked' paymaster!
You cannot claim to call out someone for being corrupt while your paymaster has so many corrupt activities to answer for!

I read what you listed and I could not help but laugh at them!
You claim he has capacity....please tell,in what area?
Is it in security?
Is it in pulling people out of poverty?
What about electricity where he was reported to have said if he cannot achieve 247 in two years we should not vote for him?
You talked about him not being a hypocrite but the same person called out and insulted a former president for not tackling insecurity in 2014 yet under his watch, bokoharam have been having a field day in quick succession murdering civilians and soldiers all over the north esp borno state!
World bank have stated that Nigerians face multidimensional poverty under Tinubu...so where is the capability?
The only legacies Tinubu will have is the discrepancy in his educational qualifications, insecurity far worse than it was during Buhari regime and how he has made Nigerians poorer under his watch!

Again with this stale narrative about monies being found with his aide or the laughable and the illogical allegations that Obi instructed MD of Fidelity bank to collect Dasuki money from Diezani?😃😃

How can a group of apc supporters with dashed Android phones spread hapless propaganda without finding out if it's true or
maybe they assume this was in the 80s or 90s where citizens only had access to the 'nations newspapers' where lies are dished out?😂😂
Comon you guys can do better nah😂😂

How you clowns keep regurgitating these boring statements keep baffling me...
I have repeatedly reminded you and your colleagues that Obi is no longer a public officer for more than a decade hence there is no immunity protecting him!
EFCC, DSS and the police belongs to Tinubu as president so why haven't these agencies either brought Obi in for questioning or arrested him for the so called crimes you claim he has committed?
Or Does their silence imply that they have nothing on Obi in terms of evidence and that your likes are simply blowing hot air?

Please it's 2025,find a better propaganda against Obi because these ones are outdated!😂

But one of the things that will never get outdated is the fact that your paymaster intentionally forged his secondary school certificate and if this were to be a sane country where systems or institutions function properly,Tinubu should have been behind bars for forgery!
Fortunately, you have admitted to it hence you have no moral stance to question another person!
You have spent an epistle (which I didn’t read I just glanced through) deflecting and attacking Tinubu again. The subject matter is obi and his convict of a party chairman!

But president Tinubu, who happens to be your paymaster, graduated from a secondary school that was established 5 years later can also vow that he will fight corruption abi?
Dey play....😎
This is what you people always do. Instead of addressing g the issue you point fingers and deflect.

Tinubu has K leg, plenty sef! we know, we do t deny it, we dont say otherwise trying to gaslight people but:

1) he has shown he has capacity
2) he has never claimed to be a saint or pout fingers at others for corruption
3) he has a record of legacies he can stand on
4) he is not a hypocrite
5) they were both governors for 8 years!

Now back to Obi and his structure of criminality pretending g to be a saint. Answer how his Party chairman can be a convicted felon while portraying himself to be a saint and accusing others of corruption?

Let’s not also forget the money found I. The boot of his aides car under his instructions, let’s not forget investing state funds in a family business, let’s not forget giving instructions to the Md of Fidelity bank to collect Dasuki money from Diezani! Let’s not forget he has no legacy project in 8 yrs as a governor!

Tinubu is good but the truth is the opposition make his work a lot easier than it should be.

How do you have 14m votes and lose to a man with 8.7m. A man who the cabal did all they could to lose?

Today they are talking about one party state. Did they forget PDP once controlled 31 states and Tinubu only 1? Have they managed their parties properly. Why would anyone want to join or remain in LP or PDP?

Their collective incompetence makes it so easy for him! And it’s not good for the rest of the country! You aren’t going to bring your A game if your opposition is incompetent! I’ll give Tinubu an A+ for forex and subsidy removal but there are only a few areas where I can award an A. Part of that is because the opposition is incompetent. He didn’t need 2 years to decide on a Nigeria 1st policy, that should have come on day 1 but the opposition was busy maligning the judiciary and INEC instead of focusing on the job of opposition! But then those who can’t manage their own party how can they manage a country?

He has no followers and even Atiku’s “followership” is derived largely from the PDP and it’s followers. Obi has more supporters than Atiku.

If Atiku contests in a party other than PDP and Obi is also contesting, Obi will get more votes than Atiku!

most Nigerians do not know how constituency projects work. There is nothing like "pocket"

for example if i want a road fixed or constructed as part of my constituency project, I will lobby to have it included in the budget. Often this is what people call "padding" but the money doesnt come to me. lobbying to include a constituency project in the budget is not padding neither does the money go to the senator. The contract will be executed by the relevant agency, for example by the federal ministry of works in the case of roads or REA in case of solar lights. the money goes to the relevant agency, they are the ones that award the contract. the money does not go to the senator.

personally i bame the senators for the bad press they get, generally we dont have very good communications specialists/spokesmen.

Even if Nigeria hits 3 million bpd, profit remains crippled if production costs stay at $40–$45/barrel due to:
• Militancy
• Corruption
• Pipeline protection costs

Meanwhile, other producers with cheaper, safer operations have higher margins.

Until we fix internal cost structure, more barrels ≠ more wealth.
Unfortunately most Nigerians don’t understand the real issues.
