I also have recommend interview in my gcms, only difference with yours is my info sharing is still on with the U.S.

Do you have travel history and did you see on the GCMS where they shared info with the countries? I think it's what is happening with me.

I just received my GCMS note now Omo 42 pages! The whole thing is confusing sef just numbers everywhere. I don’t even understand it. But I noticed under the assessment in page two that Eligibility- recommend interview, criminality - passed, medical - passed, info sharing - complete then counterfoil request - Y. Please request for gcms immediately and start sending webforms and mails on processing time passed.

Thinking of requesting my gcms notes but do not know if it's a good idea. Applied September, Biometric done Oct 28. Eligibility started Dec 8. NSE request Nov. But application is on hold as at 1 week ago pending when they receive NSE. 2 days ago, They told me application is under active review. Please what should I do?

Submitted end of Nov. Did not get an NSE request but submitted both IELTs, Medicals & MyBankStatement alongside the application.

You will get a response between now and 3 days either PPR or rejection, hopefully it is PPR.

I guess your eligibility is done but they are yet to update it.

I just received a biometric validity letter but no update on my application as yet. This is my second application after initial rejection in September last year. What does this mean? I did biometrics in August for my first application and did not need one for this application.

Please kindly advise me on what to do;

The primary office reviewing my application is Nairobi and the secondary office is London. I have not been sending webforms to London. Is it possible to send a mail to the London office now that i know London is the secondary office and that is where my application is processed to explain some things about my switch in course and to PGD cause I have a 2.1 because my GCMS says my eligibility shows recommend interview.

Is there a way to know from the GCMS if there is hope for approval. This information means a lot to me which is why I need to know cause I need to balance tuition this Friday or defer if I cannot and I really don't want to so I can start the classes asap and get it over with,

My criminality says passed, info sharing says in progress, eligibility shows recommend interview, medicals passed, and final decision is still blank.

Please advise me on what to do. Will really appreciate advise from Mr Frank and other gurus on this page just incase I can make amends before the final approval comes out.

From what I have read from past threads about "Recommend interview", it is often a positive sign. They may require further documents to
clarify some reservations they still have or the senior officer may just overlook and approve it.. Keep your fingers crossed and PRAY for goodluck.

I can't find it here, maybe because my application still says in progress.

There's a short review labelled as "Text" , it is often found towards the end of the pages. Mine was on page 43 of 44pages. It explains the VO's line of thought and decision made after reviewing your application.

Guys, how do you know from GCMS if you will be approved? Also, what do you look out for to know if there is hope? The pages are a lot up to 58 and I did not really see anything like AIP in progress there. This information means a lot to me which is why I need to know cause I need to balance tuition this friday and not need to defer anymore.

I do not think the school gives a new LOA until it's close to the new semester.

You can defer and wait for your PPR without sending the new LOA to IRCC until they request for it and you can also choose to send the new LOA immediately you get it via web form. Either way works

Hi guys,

For those that deferred.

Did you need to ask the school for a new admission letter and sent to the embassy ahead or there is no need to or did you need to inform the embassy via gc key portal that you have deferred or I should just defer, no need to inform the embassy, just chill for the PPR then continue with my admission that way.

School needs me to drop out this week as my sponsor does not want to balance up my tuition fees without PPR from the embassy to avoid refund issues even though I made some deposit before I applied initially.

What do you advise or what did others do?

Yeah it's good all schools in Canada at least most are good and have their own good standards and ratings. It's now left for you to do a thorough search to see which of them that offers the course you want to study so all schools in Canada are very good compared to ours here so the choice is yours

Congratulations... when were you sent PPR and when did you apply and did you do NSE?

Guys, look what I got when I sent a mail to the embassy and webform that my processing time has passed.

Does it look like there is hope to come out this week as I have to balance up tuition this week. If i dont by friday, i have to drop out and defer till september which I really don't want to and I don't want to pay fully to avoid tuition refund issues as they do not want to refund the initial deposit i paid without showing proof of visa refusal.

What can I do now?

Your Uncle don't need to go to the court to swear an Affidavit of Sponsorship. Only you can do the package.

Just go to Notary Public with ur Sponsor's Passport Photograph & Your Own Passport Photograph.

Go with the details of your school in CANADA (School name & Address), also go there with your Uncle's Details (Home Address)

If you are based in Lagos,

Go to IKEJA, @ Oba Akinjobi way, the road leading to Ikeja G.R.A & Ikeja High court.,
u will see some women with Umbrella, (some standing, some sitting down) mentioning the word AFFIDAVIT continuously. Meet one of them

You can also check ijaiye road axis at OGBA, IKEJA , along where WAEC and NUJ (Nigerian Union of Journalism) office are located , u will also see some Women there mentioning the Word "AFFIDAVIT"

Once you get the AFFIDAVIT OF SPONSORSHIP, take it to your uncle, there is portion for him to Sign. that portion is called DEPONENT

Hi guys, is it advisable to send daily mails and webforms when application has passed standard processing time and will one easily get action on the application form them cause they do not respond to the webforms.

This is because I have started lectures and my deadline for tuition balance is this week and I do not want to pay and start having issues with refunding. The school said they won't refund once it exceeds february 26 and I do not show them a proof of visa refusal. I'm just really confused on what to do.

Please advise OtunbaTee, awys, Frankrobbin, Anon and other gurus. Deferment is till september and I dont want to defer cause i want to start, finish in september and get back to work.

You got it in less than 2 months without getting NSE request letter. That's really chilled, congrats. I applied in October with medicals and biometric passed and completed but no NSE request letter. I'm waiting on my PPR.

Got BVL Jan 12
Got PPR Jan 19

No but I did upfront and I passed it on December 16.

Do i still expect medical request if my dashboard shows medicals passed? I am just waiting on BVL and PPR.

As long as you can demonstrate that the online business is a reliable source of funds, you then have a case to build from there. Through your inflows and good closing balance coupled with other relevant financial documents i.e. sales receipt, screenshot of the online business in every platform it has presence etc, you should be fine.

Online business is a job and a way to go these days.If you have a valid or an updated LOA prior after your refuse, you're good to reapply with it. One thing you should watch out for, course correlation or study progression.

But they did not even ask me to submit NSE requests and I applied on October 5. I'm just tired. Had to send MBS certificate two days ago just to fasten it. Requested for gcms on december 29, still waiting for that too and I have resumed as well. What are you doing about yours? I'm tired of waiting, I would have sent IELTS if I had but I only got MBS. I'm considering sitting for IELTS sef even though they did not send me NSE request. Wondering why they did not send some October applicants NSE request.

See ehn you just said what is on my mind! IRCC has gone silent on October applicant. It seems the new set of applicant are the ones getting response now. Even those that submitted the NSE document since early December are still there not to talk of people like us that did not even submit the NSE. My school resumed two weeks ago all the deadline don pass sef. If IRCC no teach person patience, I don’t know what else can. Still I’m confident that it will end in praises!

Seems these guys have abandoned the people using the normal route and are only focused on NSE guys. I applied since October 5 and I did not even get NSE request, medicals passed and all, just waiting for PPR ever since and my class has started, I'm just tired. Guys based on the new time for processing (15 weeks), my application would be 15 weeks on Monday. What do you advise I start to send to IRCC and from when should I start cause I have started classes already and I need to ravel. The time difference is killing.
