You should more afraid of your Muslims in the western cape areas, those dudes look for radicalized. The average North eastern Nigerian has no interest in South Africa. They see the place as a sell out country to the WEST.
Our Government is keeping a very, very close eye on those guys in the Western Cape and the rest of the country, Pagad was taken apart before they became a serious threat to S.A.

"Sell out Country to the West"!!? You mean the same country that outright refused to allow any Western Nation to build a Military Base in the country, or the only country that went against the "Western intervention" in Libya *Something Nigeria said yes to* in our new papers a lot of journalist have said that the current S.A Government will never forgive the West for winning the "Cold War"... South Africa refused to accept military training from the west, S.A didn't sell out to anyone.

South Africa is Already under threat from B.H most people just don't know it yet, there have been report of B.H members being part of the Nigerian Drug runners in S.A they use it as a place to raise funds, and the problem is that we can't really identify them as B.H members so if S.A would start working with Nigeria we'd all be able to share intel and capture some of the members operating here in S.A, because no one knows when those people will decide to go crazy and blow up S.A because its bound to happen, S.A has already p*ssed off many terrorist groups in Africa.

This is a Tactic we need to perfect. Operation serval.... The french in mali used Para-drops a lot against the Enemy. Their special forces units especially in Kidal and Goa used this tactic on multiple occasions in cutting of the enemy.

Operation serval in my opinion is the most up to date and effective manual on how to degrade the enemy.
Lack of Oxygen Mask indicates that this wasn't a High altitude jump, which means it couldn't have been a H-A-L-O or H-A-H-O jump, probably the usual parachute jump, or was it just for show and they didn't want to go all out with the media around?..because we all know how secretive N.A likes to be.

No official proof Ukraine has joint venture with South Africa, where is your official contract source for the info?

You say Nigeria will probably buy Ingwe missile from South Africa, what official procurement source ?

Nigeria has 10 Russian Mi-35 that use cheaper Russian missiles, so why should Nigeria buy more expensive South African missiles for 2 Ukranian Hinds? Nigeria and South Africa already have an arms trade dispute of $15 million, so why should we leave Russia that has offered us $1 Billion credit line for weapons and come to a fraudulent South Africa for missiles?

Back to your foolish allegation, I got the weblink from Beegeagle, but the source/story is Ukranian and your poor South African thinking did not tell you that lap tops have automatic translator to give me the story in English from Ukranian language.

First of all you Ret*rded Fraudster those are Algerian Super-Hind being fixed up in a Ukrainian Factory, they match Algerias Latest desert camo, it doesn't match the ones on BeegeagleBlog.

Second, that Livejournal, makes reference and uses A.T.E brochures to describe a plain, plus that Ukrainian firm has showed interest in doing joint ventures with A.T.E

The evidence in favour of this is that the paint scheme seems to match more closely the new Algerian desert pattern for its operations in the south of the country than the new Nigerian scheme (though they're very close), the fact that the aircraft appear to be Super Hind MkIIIs and not SuperHind MkIVs (not least because they lack the Pall EAPS vortex intake filters), because they have the now-discontinued Argos 550 as its FLIR/targeting turret and that Aviakon in Ukraine was awarded a contract to overhaul and upgrade Algeria's Super Hinds a few months ago.

Its Official those Hinds in that Factory are from Algeria, and @agaugust is just blowing hot air up his own a** and spreading lies, always posting false forms or evidence to support more of his lies.

Internet Translators are sh!t everyone knows that, and that's why most people with a brain are seriously questioning the legitimacy of that Article.

Stop wasting your time Southies, NAF Mi-35 Super Hind upgrade done in Ukraine shocked shocked

Nigeria gets from Ukraine Mi-24 helicopters :

"Following the purchase of T-72AV and BTR-4E from the Ukraine in 2014, Nigeria, apparently acquires former Ukrainian Mi-24 combat helicopters.

Nigerian web resource beegeagle. 2 January 2015 published a picture of the two Nigeria Air Force modernization Super Hind Mk III -Mi-24 combat helicopters.

Serial works on modernization of the Mi-24 Super Hind options are carried out on contract by the Ukrainian State Enterprise “Konotop Aircraft Repair Plant” Aviacon “(Konotop, Sumy region). In 1999-2004, Konotop factory for the Algerian Air Force, upgraded 33 former Ukrainian Mi-24V to the Super Hind Mk III version, and in 2010-2011 – for the Azerbaijani Air Force 12 former Ukrainian Mi-24K to the Super Hind Mk IV (upgraded Azerbaijani helicopters received the designation Mi-24G).

Two Mi-24 passing upgrading to Super Hind version , were seen in the factory floor of “Aviacon” Ukraine on October 16, 2014"

http://bmpd.livejournal.com/1121573.html

Source Beegeagle

I have always said it for the past two years on this blog, that Nigeria has a defense pact with Ukraine for any emergency weapons supply.

Watch out for Nigerian army T-84 Oplot-M tanks and more BTR-4E different versions, info says we ordered one battalion of BTR-4E
.
"agaugust You Disgusting Fraudster" that paragraph you quoted is from beegeagle-blog and not from the Livejournal link you posted, you posted an opinion piece and passed it off as something else, that Livejournal Article is not even in English. You took a paragraph from Beegeagle that supported your argument and posted a completely different link as your source. Well then here another Paragraph from Beegeagle you failed to mention. "As the thread title conveyed in its precise wording, the Super Hind upgrades were undertaken by ‘a South African firm’. It does not follow that the upgradation took place in South Africa.

What is almost certain is that vendor probably have a twinning arrangement with ATE of South Africa whereby their upgrade packages are jointly marketed while *the work gets done by ATE personnel*, be those internationals or locals. Ukraine is a busier arms market than South Africa is."

. . .Plus that Livejournal Article makes a lot of reference to A.T.E, Paramount and South African Weapon systems they even use the A.T.E brochure to describe the features of the new Aircraft, which means it is South African tech installed by a South African company in a Foreign Country. Lol Soon Nigeria will probably be buying Ingwe Missiles directly from S.A or through Ukraine.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Centrifude(m): 12:43am On Jan 05, 2015
If those Choppers were upgraded in Ukraine then I believe it must have been with direct help or Cooperation with A.T.E. "Azerbaijan plans on upgrading its Mi-24, at the
Konotor Aviacon plant with the participation of South
African firms, as was stated by a Ukrainian source. Ukraine has
also showed some interest in cooperating with South Africa for
the modernization of its fleet."

No one denys the fact that products are of Russian origin, and that for someone to do any kind of upgrades on other peoples products they first need to be trained by the creators, but that deal was sign in 2006 which means its already been 8years now S.A doesn't need Russia to help them or train them, we can do it on our own now.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Centrifude(m): 1:12am On Jan 04, 2015
@agaugust
"The agreement provides for the integration of
ATE (and other) avionics in a wide range of
Russian civil helicopter designs"

"The ATE avionics packages would be available
for integration on newly-built helicopters or as
moder-nisation and upgrade packages for older
examples of these models."

This means that South African Technology (Avionics) will be integrated into Russian Models, the Upgrade Packages are still of South African Origin, it doesn't say anything about A.T.E belonging to Russia.

Russia provides the Aircraft or Airframes and we upgrade them with our kit. It is a collaboration, when you have such a collaboration you will need technology transfer, because South African tech is basically Western Technology and we need to understand Russian technology to incorporate our tech, that's why A.T.E tech is considered as the combination of western and eastern technology

"ATE has also developed a composite rotor blade
for the Mi-24, to replace its original metal
blades.
This new composite blade has been entirely
designed and developed in South Africa."

Thank you for sharing that A.T.E has developed their very own indigenous Rotor Blades

#Where does it say A.T.E belongs to Russia and the A.T.E Ugrade kit is from Russia

No sir, i did help to keep his company running. Ever wondered why ATE which owns the upgrade tech was acquired by Paramount Advanced Technologies? The company needs customers like me to keep afloat seeing that the SAAF are not smart enough to spend with sense.

If the Rooivalk project got an international customer, the project would still be running by now, and we wouldn't be talking about shutting down development.
Wait so you're telling me that you helped with installing the upgrades by adding money a few cents into their bank account?

You said you would be helping your Neighbour install the ish.

Lol You do realise that there's a huge difference between helping someone install something and just paying them to do it.

Was it done for free? NO
Can SANDF/SAAF afford a similar upgrade? NO

If Nigeria with approximately 22 Mi-35P (Plus 40 more ordered), upgrades its fleet because it can, how does it change the fact that SANDF/SAAF is broke and can't afford the same, coupled with the fact that the Rooivalk project is stalled.

Its just like me buying a Lamborghini and my neighbour who helped in fixing in some custom rims (which I paid for) sounding excited, what should the manufacturers do?

So whats your point exactly?
No no no these are custom rims that came from your neighbour and were fitted by him, you didn't help. And those upgrades aren't accessories they are actually going to make the product perform better then before.

Lol the Apache is a Lamborghini and the fact that your Mi-35 needed and upgrade means it was nothing more than just an old school VW beetle.

In the old days it would considered as insane for, Nigerians and many other Africans to do Business in S.A, democracy opened a lot of doors for the country.

Compare old photos of what places like Soweto, and other townships use to look like and what they look like right now.

I'll say this again, what you know only what you've read and seen on T.V

Your way of thinking is similar to the people to think that Nigeria would've been better of under British rule.

You're being irrational now.

Feasibility studies first. That's what happening now.

A "new Rooivalk" might come out.
Yeah sure there's a possibility that there might be a "new rooivalk" but our armed forces can't rely on things that might happen, I think going for a few Hinds to add a bit of versatility to our arsenal wouldn't be a bad thing, or at least change the cockpit to make it look and feel like the rooivalk so that we can train more pilot which is what we did to the Hawks Trainer.

When I spoke to one of the Rooivalk Pilots at the Rand Easter Show in April he told me that S.A.A.F will soon be reaching the point where we have more Gripen pilots then Aircraft and its one of the main reasons they chose to Gripenise the Hawks, but I don't know if its true or that he was just messing with me.

He also thought that we should find an Alternative system to help train more rooivalk pilots, and to increase the number of helos in our Arsenal.

These are pictures of the Algerian Super-Hinds, I think Nigeria's Hinds look exactly the same.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with Nigeria getting some upgrades from S.A such things have nothing to do with politics, and just look at how quickly the Choppers were delivered, it shows the commitment and support that exists between the two Countries.
