Other way around- Rooivalk were called in to replace the hinds

And I see you have already backtracked, from: "the whole world was involed" to "all 20 MONUSCO nations" to now only saying 4 were involved

The fact is that the FIB only exists because of aouth Africa

South Africa was the biggest equipment provider

South Africa turned the tide with the rooivalk, sf and snipers

Hence the lions share of the glory goes to South Africa
That guy has shown his inability to understand what he's reading, dude simply can't read he always misinterprets information, twisting facts

Yeah this is what I hate about white people sometimes, they always like playing the victim thank God someone took a video of this, White people are the main instigators of violence and black when Black people respond in the same manner, whites cry "Racism".

Mokopa Anti-Tank Missile 10km long range is useless :

South African air force chief confesses to Defenceweb in Johannesburg

Denel’s Mokopa PGM ready for market

Written by Leon Engelbrecht, Wednesday, 26 January 2011

"This is in line with comments made by SAAF chief Lieutenant General Carlo Gagiano on that subject, he saw only limited short-term opportunity for Mokopa with the land services. “Most armies won't use it optimally, he noted. Land-to-land targeting at 5.5km, as with Ingwe, is already a very long range for target acquisition. You cant's see much further in the dust and glare of the battlefield. With Mokopa you go over-the-horison and then your communications and command-and-control has to be very advanced. Many armies are not yet confident enough to use such a weapon. The Ingwe is still very much on the sweet spot for most applications,” he said. "

SAAF confirms Mokopa missile is useless shocked shocked shocked

.
By writing this down you've proven your inability to read or understand what you're reading, you've once again elected yourself as the d*mbest person on this Thread. Since when does " won't use it optimally" mean "Useless".

Let me give you a bit of an English lesson.

Optimally is used as an Adverb and it means " in an optimal and most desirable way"

Optimal is an Adjective and means "Most favorable or desirable; optimum."

Optimum:

adjective
most conducive to a favorable outcome; best.

noun

the most favorable conditions or level for growth, reproduction, or success.

So when he said most countries won't be able to use it optimally he meant that they won't be able to use it to the best of its abilities because for obvious reasons they'd have to fully adapt the system into their army, that's why at the end he said "your command-and-control have to be very advance" he said nothing about it being useless, you're twisting his words to support your own extremely stup*d argument.

You're an insult to the people who taught you how to read.

Like the 90% french rooivalk. The 10% is because south-africa provided the helicopter's tires.
Yeah typical, going back to the empty claims again, your Igirigi is a horrible, horrible copy of someone elses design I can't believe that you guys even had the gust to call that thing a finished product.

Actually, you do.

This is why, you're so Angry and emotional, using swear words.

Nigerians are in Samoa, tonga, st skits and nevis, cape Verde et al. We adventurous like that. Nigerians been in S.A schools shouldn't be an achievement for you.

We school in Iceland, Italy, China, countries that don't even speak english.
Wow adventurous huh is that what you guys call it these days. You're telling me that thousands of Nigerians are so Adventurous that they'd come all the way from Nigeria just to study and be thought by "illiterates" don't twist it Bro S.A has the best Universities in Africa and even after 20yrs of "Black Rule" we are still the best.

Don't count Ghana out just yet, it's still very early I have a feeling they will survive these troubling times.

My question is what's the rest of Africa doing to deal with this problem?

100% nigerian designed, built, manufactured, and fielded.

Lies, lies and more lies.

That thing is done to give you guys the rainbow bla bla bla feel.

You black boys are a bunch of illiterates and never do wells in school.
Like I said go to "Wits University" or any other University that offers Aeronautical Engineering and you will see that you know nothing about South Africa.

look at the S.A.A, Mango Airlines etc.. They have plenty of Black pilots.

You guys must be really d*mb to believe that in 20years South Africa was unable to produce Missile designers, you think that before 1994 no Black person had ever gone to University. and dude many of us work and study our a55es off and do very well at school, I'm an Electrical technology, last year I qualified as an Industrial Electronics Technician, after that I was one of 3 people chosen to teach Basic and Digital Electronics, I thought White guys who were 7-9years older than me, you guys don't know Sh*t about what's happening in S.A

As long as Africans still feel the need to compete with each other for scraps, we'll never ever be united and strong enough to defend our selves.

So why is that in all the pics I see of South African engineers, air pilots, high up officials, scientists, doctors, spec op guys etc.. 98% are white? I've even seen more Indians in certain areas of what looks to be your space program, so where are all these amazing blacks you talk of?
dude like I said you don't know anything about S.A come here and you'll see a completely different picture, and the pictures of the spec op guys you've probably seen are old, Sandf and Saps hardly releases any recent pics.

For now since the main topic is military I'll post pics of black South african pilots and special forces operatives, I'll have to copy pictures or black, coloured engineers from my laptop to my phone.

Too bad 100% of the people designing these projects don't speak Zulu or Xhosa....you should be ashamed.
Yeah they probably speak the other languages because we have 11 official Languages, I dare you to go to "Wits University" and go look the the students Studying Aeronautical engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, most of them are black, you D*mb a55es think you know everything about S.A, I challenge you to come and see the Some of the old Cheetah jets that out "black" students are working on.

Also go to Denel and check out their Apprenticeship programmes, you'll see a lot of young Black kids training, maintaining some of the Aircrafts and Missiles, and why do you think some of our new missiles have African Names, they have those names because some of them were designed by Black people, or they played a major role in the development of the weapons.

Many people tend to equate China's huge population and growing economy to military superiority. They are still the only P5 member never to have conducted an operational patrol with a nuclear missile submarine and have no viable sea based nuclear deterrent. A technology that was mastered by the Americans and the soviets almost 50 years ago.
And the only great power never to have built an aircraft carrier. even they Japanese have been deploying these since the 30s
Yeah very true most people don't understand that when you have a very large population it will be much easier for your economy to grow and being the largest doesn't make you the strongest, plus China almost have no experience in modern Warfare like America, I don't even think China could take on Israel, and a lot of Chinas military strength is based on stolen/copied tech, their ability to improve that tech and produce very large quantities of it.
Foreign AffairsRe: What 10 Countries Will Be World Military Powers By 2030? by Centrifude(m): 1:10pm On Nov 04, 2014
I wouldn't put China as Number one, because they still rely on copied or stolen tech, China is just really good at taking other peoples tech and improving it, they haven't really reached that "innovative stage" yet, they have the largest but not the strongest defence force.

Many private game rangers use the CR-21 bullpup rifle.

Saw some with it in Hoedspruit sometime back.
Damn I didn't think anyone would use CR-21, because the last time I checked it was still considered a prototype, and the lack of an iron sight, and being able to mount one sight on it was a bit of a disadvantage, but please share some pics of them if you find any.

Heavy fire power and technology will never replace man power.

There's no proof yet that BH is under military pressure.
It worked for the SADF during the border war, and look at Iraqs army, they had thousands of men, I only found out recently while watching Aljazeera that Iraq had more than one hundred thousand soldiers, and in the beginning they out numbered I.S fighters 1:10, so having large numbers isn't always good, large numbers are good for invasions, but when it comes to insurgency it might be better to have a small heavily armed and well trained group of soldiers.

But... Sometimes it all depends on how you use those resources, having large armies might work for other people, so I might be wrong.

I've always loved this commando shirt /uniform or whatever it is, mostly worn by NATO and Russian commandos. Nice to see the Nigerian navy has also adopted it.
