My friend, different scenarios. The Chadian and South African soldiers were repatriated to the airport where ceremonies were held before they are then conveyed to their final destination.

If Nigerian soldiers are killed abroad, the same thing would happen when they are flown in at whichever airport they are received.

The Picture of the Nigerian burial was probably a more local burial at a State military cemetery. And just because the camera wasn't mounted on a tripod has no relevance whatsoever.

But placing a coffin on top of an office table is pretty messed up, shouldn't the Government provide things like stands, and all that. I watched videos of some of the funerals of the soldier who were killed in C.A.R even though South Africa may have different Cultures and Clans and have their own methods of burying their dead, they still received simple stuff like stands, transport, food coffins etc..

I still think the coffee and office tables weren't good enough

This is one of the reasons I suggested the Nigerian military starts making its own propaganda vids and upload em' of YouTube by the time it get millions of views (westners love watching anti insurgence vids) they will start thinking twice before believing their press about Nigerian war against terrorism

Its not just a Nigerian problem its an African one, Africans should work together to spread their Military propaganda, and stop trying to complete and make themselves look better than the other, the West Works together to spread their propaganda, even when everyone knows its Sh*t they still believe it. Because they all spread the same stuff.

So BBC & CNN have reported N.A repelling B.H as nothing more than just "mere luck".

I swear to God the West is just full of Sh*t, defeats are quickly reported as Major failures while victories are just a stroke of Goodluck.

Not trying to be rude bro, but this photo can be classified as "unrelated content" .Let's stick to posting photos related to the thread title..just take a look at S.A..their military photos are sooo professional..Let's try nd do the same for our military.

Well you should know that there's a bit of a difference between pictures taking in live combat compared to ones taken during training and parades... I've seen SADF and SANDF live combat pictures and believe me none of that ish was professional, it looks like a 5 year old took them.

I wish I could post all the pictures I've seen.

8. Kim Jong-il Is A Fashion Icon
In 2010, based on North Korean media, Kim Jong-Il’s iconic
style was a global phenomenon that swept the world by storm.
The inspired look of his trademark zip-up khaki tunic with
matching pants spread from country to country, and quickly
became the most popular men’s fashion trend in the world. His
trendsetting style was a clear tribute to his exceptional image
as a great man and his powerful influence over the rest of the
world. Unfortunately for Kim Jong-Il and fortunately for the
world of fashion, this was not even remotely true.

From the pics u can see that the NA is over stretched, they're on land, air and water, we need more recruitment.

Nah bigger Budget and more equipment, I really hate the fact tha N.A battle Jackets don't have enough pouches, it seems that soldiers only have two pouches, which Can carry a maximum of four Cartridges, and that's Bullsh*t. In a battle field soldiers are always moving around or get pinned down in one place for hours, and they won't be able to run back to their trucks to refill.

That's why I believe more money and equipment would be better. Henry once posted some pics of the gear produced in Nigeria, it looked pretty awesome, it had a sufficient number of pouches, and better protection, and I think those would make a huge difference for N.A soldiers on the field.

its about the price of salted pork? Its about religion, and although we have a political aspect to it, lets not forget that Islam as a religion have always being about power. The jihadists before now have fought for power with the same excuse that they fight a holy war, what they are fighting for in Nigeria is not different from what their leader (mohammed) fought for in the early days of Islam. The presidential candidate of the APC( general buhari ) have stated clearly that he is committed to the total islamization of Nigeria. I mean how hard could that be. Muslims want to see more Muslims in power, Muslims want to wake up in the morning to hear that a nuclear bomb fell on Israel and then the Vatican city. I fear Muslims because they are very unpredictable and all over the world they have carved for themselves a very shameful conception about themselves. Mohammed have created a religion that cannot work in a world like ours, we cannot live with Muslims, why? Because they don't care about waking up to stab you in your sleep just because they think you may have being the one that mistakenly dropped coffee on their Koran and the problem is, they won't tell you about it during the day so you could apologise, no they won't they will still remain nice to you while hiding that wicked intent of theirs in their dark Islamic heart waiting for the right time, they may even buy your child candy in the day and pretend everything is cool.
I do not like the Islamic religion.
I hate it and i despise it. I just hope the Islamic General does not win the February polls cus this " harmless" friendly little post of mine could earn me my death under his government.
But it should be noted that there are good Muslims, but this good Muslims are the ones that do not follow through to the doctrines of the Koran, because they realizes just how dangerous it is to the society, this set of "good" Muslims are often called out by the bad radical ones as "pagans".

I second that.

soldiers on patrol are easily ambushed in the NE, that vehicle will guarantee their death. But trust me man its a damn good truck. The only thing is that this guys already have the advantage of range since they are using triple A's, meaning no matter how heavily armed that vehicle is, they sure would hit you first.

Mhmm jah I forgot that B.H hits from a distance with those Anti-Air guns.

so wat happens when they start shooting at your exposed a55 while you and your men are sitting and enjoying the fresh air from that exposed truck. you think we re playing who have the finest truck in north eastern nigeria?

Its all about giving up protection for High mobility, a full view of your area of operations and with that comes a high level of situational awareness.

That's why those kind of vehicles are heavily armed, so that soldiers can hit really hard and fast.

Spot on with your substituted assessment! cool cool cool SANDF is in no condition to fight a war with "Power Houses" like SELEKA, Chad, talkless of the conventionally formidable NA.

If you'd see/call Chad as a "Power House" ... then it is finally confirmed ... SANDF definitely and correctly ranks below a very lowly Chadian Army.

Power House according to african standards, a Country with a solid Airforce will not be easy to beat for most African countries. The problem with you people is that you really like underestimating your opponents, that's why Boko-Haram is what it is today, you see people and think very little of them, you people keep talking about pushing the JF-17 orders forward if Chad would invade as if Pilots would just pot out of a hat and be ready to fight, Chads mig pilots would have better training and more experience with their jets. Plus you act as if Chad would wait for you to build your defence before invading.

You'll know when the time comes.

What you don't understand is that we don't see this insurgency as one beyond us. We'll avoid collateral damage to innocent citizens by all means. If in our own assessment things were beyond us, you'd have seen all of the world's Armies fighting on our side! We are not convinced that this is beyond us as the media will love to project.

Just chill and see how we make history in COIN war soon!!

Well to be honest I don't really remember any western or eastern nations offering to deploy troops, because I remember when the U.S initially offered help, Nigerian Officials publicly announced that the U.S would be sending troops, then after than the U.S denied that, So I don't really think the whole world would be fighting alongside you.

But anyway you still haven't answered my question yet, telling me to wait and see is not really logical.

many country now views the NA as a weak dying force due to BH propaganda.chad has been on our tail since the 60's,now is the right time for them to strike because they imagine that we cant fight a war on two fronts.frankly, chad has grown too strong, how do we counter their MiG-29s,with our F7s?,how do we beat back their russian trained, battle hardened troops while fighting BH at the same time?

I agree with you on this one, Nigeria is in no condition to fight a war with a Power House like Chad, the fact that they have superior Air Power would be a crippling blow to N.A

On the contrary in 2008, we saw how pissed off SAffers can get and the mayhem they can cause and historically speaking when them Igbo boys decide to fight, they will fight. They did it for 3 years in Nigeria at the worst odds.

Well yeah they fought in Nigeria but in S.A it would be a very different situation, its very easy to win when you have home ground advantage, your Igbo boys would be in S.A this time and not Nigeria.

The reason for load shedding in S.A is that Eskom is planning on doing full out maintenance on all of our Power Stations, unlike some countries who don't even know what the word means.

Three months of *SCHEDULED* Power cuts, is nothing compared to not having Electricity at all, or letting your Power stations rot.

You can't attack a group of IGBO boys when they grouped together, very wrong thing to do. The boys don't play when they are in numbers, which is why they are not afraid even in the midst of XENOPHOBIC attacks.

You seriously haven't seen a pissed off group of South Africans, believe me no group of IGBOs can stop South Africans in South Africa, all of South Africas Xenophobic Bast*rds would rain down on them.
