^ I can imagine.well,me I don't think I will ever even try ibo food as i'm scared there will be dog meat in there. thank God I will never have to. what is it that will cause me to step foot in the east. God forbid ![]() @OP, maybe you were looking for cheap fast food. Cheap fast food is always oily. If you have a kitchen at home, you shouldn't be patronizing fast food joints everyday. uzoexcel: I was initially shocked when i joined by boarding sch in j.s.s1 in ibadan, every swallow meal (i.e amala) had a soup and stew combination, after forming 2 weekz wid hunger threatening 2 finish me (as i was also afraid of d amala coz of itz black color), i said 2 hell wid it mehn & started downing lyk d others. To my surprise it was actually delicious & much more spicy than just takin soup alone, dz dayz takn ma eba/amala & nt seeing stew makes d food seem kinda empty, What i can say is that dont b afraid of tryin new thingz, it really payzLOL |
how can I marry him? handsome, bright and intelligent. perfect. |
The article is from Irving California You can't compare california, USA to Naija abeg. For naija, that woman would have been beaten to death ![]() only men are allowed to cheat in naija. in USA, cheating goes both ways, i've noticed. |
She looks like any regular woman out there. In fact, very average. Genny, put your make up back on ASAP |
slimyem: This picture could be better. The son on the left is cuter than the other one.you are wicked o they both look cute/identical to me. lovely boys |
too funny... ![]() |
very cute.. |
Yomi Abiola (Number 2) Nneka (number 1) looks like a man ![]() |
Tanfikos: Wow, that girl really looks deaf!!oh wow...only on Nairaland ![]() |
She is better looking than 90% of our so called nollywood actresses anyway. but the sexiest is Omotola ![]() I'm guessing most people in naija don't know about her yet maybe except for those who have dstv. if she crosses over to nollywood, she will blow up big time i'm sure. depending on how well she fits in with hollywood style of acting. |
she's really pretty. |
wow. One would think that he spends most of his time studying or in intellectual pursuits without knowing that he was living it up with women too. His current wife must be half his age. How many children does he have in total from all his numerous marriages? okpara ugo: I never knew his hair was white.LOL you must be living under a stone. ![]() |
quote author=Ejine LOL you have issues. granted they over did the wedding (considering 2 face baba already has 6kids by 4 baby-mamas) but there is nothing wrong with what they did culture-wise. tons of rich white folks wed in Africa and other 'exotic' places all the time. plain traditional culture really is something that's mostly a preserve of lower middle and esp. lower class folks. mostly because they have no other choice.ie they lack resources to connect them or enable aspiration towards a western lifestyle. at the end of the day, there is still a uniqueness to the african/western cultural blend. if u wanna be pure african, move to the village and stop typing/speaking in english. |
pweetyface: is she d one hyping it or u guys?have u seen any post or comment by her or even 2face?She has been commenting non stop n doing photoshoots/interviews in magazines for the past few months now. Besides, how can you say they are not hyping when they invite all the nollywood stars to dubai for wedding. It's very obvious that she wants publicity. nothing wrong with that. it's her life. remember she married 2face in early 2012 in a small ceremony with family and friends. According to a news article I read from that time, they were planning an even more elaborate second wedding ceremony that they claim would be the biggest "wedding of the year." so far, the pics i've seen haven't lived up to that hype.esp for the money+publicity spent on it. |
ItsModella: Exactly. They did their traditional wedding so I don't know what the hell he's talking about.LOL that post was just too comical for me to respond to it. ![]() and the worst thing is that people (esp. males) who talk like that are usually the worst HYPOCRITES. |
everybody has problems in this world. the problem rich people have is that many of them just have so much money that they don't know what to do with it. hence why they do stupid things like this. Who knows, they are probably also using $100 bills to wipe their bottoms in the toilet sef. |
^ traditional religion or atheist he condemned Christianity in his books. besides also condemning Nigeria of course. In fact, he condemns everything that doesn't have the word "Ibo" in it. no wonder the ibo tribalists and bigots love him. I think his book is very overrated to be honest. but so what. Kim Kardashian is also overrated. |
boring. seriously though. I think this wedding is way over-hyped. She already has kids, the husband she's marrying has like 6 kids from 6 different women Na by force to have elaborate white wedding? What's the whole point of this charade. Is all this hype supposed to make her feel vindicated or what? |
ROTFLMAO. declaration of seven day mourning for what? This ain't North Korea abeg Ibo people and their excessive hero worship sef. This is the second time i'm hearing foolish stuff from this so called "Igbo Youth Movement" I think Ibo people need to watch out. This is really a Biafra group poised to become dictators if they get their way. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2222442/North-Korean-official-executed-drinking-100-day-mourning-late-Dear-Leader-Kim-Jong-il.html |
definitely a HIT clean and classy + standout. she shouldn't have worn the hat though. the outfit is very modern while the hat is so victorian. I like the commenter who said the style looks like Ellen Degeneres. I agree. very cool. |
baba dey: The end justifies the means always, you need to hear from his mates who went to university of ibadan with him,who he really was. He graduated from UI with a 3rd class, wasn't the brightest @ all then but was known for his fearless, selfless protests he started, per took. The first protest/riot that ever happened started by him and *forgotten his partner name*. They protested, when a full chicken that was meant for two was now meant for 6,7 or so sha. He is also the originator and initiator of the first fraternity but was for a good cause( helping each other academically, anything relating to studies),he was just like an activist, freedom fighter then but wasn't that a prowess academically. It was when he went to England,he restructured, refashioned himself and came out with a first class. So if you think he was born genius have a rethink.According to his biography, he did NOT stay in UI for graduation. He left for England to finish his degree. He accomplished A LOT even while he was studying in Nigeria. He won several prizes for literary composition and even wrote a radio play for Nigerian Broadcasting Service that was aired while he was studying at UI. How many students accomplish that? Soyinka studied English Literature, Greek and Western History. Many Nigerians like to look down on these subjects maybe that's why they didn't think he was bright. The guy is a genius. It's too bad that Nigerians couldn't see that. Acing exams and doing extremely well in school may just be a sign of being docile and rule follower. School is meant to prepare children to be workers after all. so a successful student will make a successful worker. Soyinka is none of that. He is a creator. He is a creative thinker and a do-er. That's what being brilliant is all about. In fact, I would like to know how many Nobel Prize laureates did well in school. |
GeneralJ: abeg which kind name be cameroon again now, aha u are nigerian, naming ur child cameroon SMHlol. last time I checked, Peter wasn't a hardcore nigerian name either. ![]() Cameron is a british name. he's adorable btw |
ok. at least top 20% among us, if not the best. |
^ ok. literacy index in UK is 100% so, giving you the benefit of doubt, that's still about half of UK's literacy rate. |
