2mch: You are arguing with a 50year old illegal immigrant. Nwando aka babyosisi. With no job, just come on NL to be arguing under 100 monikers. When is the united states going to deport the jobless criminal? Probably hiding in a bunker waiting for amnesty.ouch ![]() |
itsekiri89: Dude, you really mean business with this position.LOL na so we see am o ![]() |
Onlytruth: There have been several reports by Igbo posters alleging. . .I think we need Seun to officially announce if he will accept your posts as being representative of all igbo posters on nairaland. because you are an individual here just as anybody else. your comments aren't anymore important or "official" than anybody else's no matter what you call yourself, self-title and all. Let those "igbos" come on here individually to make their complaints. Seun, please let us know if you accept Onlytruth as some igbo king here on nairaland who has a right to decide for other igbos + gain increased privileges on Nairaland for being some NL igbo king. and ability to speak on behalf of hundreds/thousands of other people. can't these igbos he talks about come and speak for themselves? how do we know "onlytruth" is telling the truth when we have no evidence except for maybe private message communication between him and his groupies who in reality only number in tens at most (usually it is the liars and crooks who use this kind of username to cover their real identity. because truth always speaks for itself) |
This topic is officially ripe for a transfer to the tribalism section. the Biafra Cabal has done it again. let us give them a round of applause. |
Let me guess... many people will fall asleep at work on Friday and will use "World Sleep Day" as an excuse. this day needs to be made into a national holiday. I love it. ![]() on a serious note, sleep deprivation is a serious health issue around the globe. |
koruji: And no, you yourself are not clanish when you get to Yoruba land and form yourself into "Ibo" groups, and dangerous to yourself, claim that you dominate everything everywhere.*falls from tree* ![]() |
Onlytruth: So, you mean that a multinational oil company who operate out of Lagos is now a Yoruba company?eze-nfurufu, you make no sense so I will ignore you. enjoy talking to yourself. ciao ![]() |
Onlytruth: If you refuse to answer the question, I will simply step above you and move on.it's not your fault. rotfl eze-furufu of nairaland. isn't that your title? or what is your title again? Thanks to the mods for changing the title to a more appropriate one!! |
Onlytruth: Is Suru Lere not part of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? How many yorubas have rights and posts in SE (also part of Federal Republic of Nigeria). last time I checked there was a topic here about the discrimination faced by yorubas in SE. and all the igbos on that thread were telling them to go back to their land. so I have a right to tell you the same. |
Onlytruth: You should also read and meditate carefully on the words of Psalm 37.even the devil himself can quote the bible. what are you trying to prove? some sort of self-righteousness? are we supposed to be impressed? what a hypocrite |
@Onlytruth, let me guess, your "friend" lives in surulere, LAGOS. then, maybe it's time for him to move back to Enugu!!! rubbish. as if you are dashing yoruba people govt posts left and right in your own land. |
wth. the article content is exact opposite of topic title the ethnic cleansing going on in Aviation ministry is against yorubas! THe minister is an igbo person called Oduah and he is being accused of discriminating against yoruba.moderators need to start checking all these igbo propaganda threads. una hatred for yorubas don dey get out of hand. posting trash topics all over the place. but theen what can I say, the moderator himself is part of the biafra cabal. |
I think the myth that "northerners control Nigeria" needs to be thoroughly dispelled as I doubt the credibility of it. In fact, I think northern population are some of the most marginalized in the entire country. something needs to be done esp for the infrastructure and overall development up there. all these boko haram, fringe movements are symptoms of extreme poverty. we like to point fingers at the north because they have very little presence among us. therefore they aren't there to defend themselves or attack their detractors. |
ROTFLMAO these two should collaborate n make a movie together. Osufia in London meets Jenifa 1&2. I will definitely watch that one. |
cocoduck: I'm having a severe diarrhea of the mouth. C.fours, plz what should I do?go and hug a wet transformer. |
She looks funny. It does look like she got a nose job done. and why does she look skinny-fat. ex in the second pic, her arms and face are fat but her trunk looks skinny. it's confusing. or is she wearing corset underneath her dress?. I hope she can breathe sha. again, she's now very very rich. so she can do whatever she wants. I used to love her lots but seeing this picture makes her look fake maybe it's just me. |
May his blessed soul continue to RIP. |
alfaman2: I am yet to see a yorubaman call for, support, or act towards disintegration.we Yoruba people are builders, not destroyers. that's a compliment to us. our survival is not based on Nigeria. as long as our culture is strong, we are fine as a a cultural entity because that's what the idea of being "yoruba" is (to me at least). ex. There are yoruba people in benin, togo we are all over. there are yoruba muslims and yoruba christians. there are different dialects of yoruba language, the word "yoruba" carries A LOT in it and cannot be summarized within just nigerian govt politics. it is culture that ties us together not politics. politics is very divisive and actually the easiest way to divide a people. In fact, if Nigeria becomes more united/homogeneous in the future, it will be credit of yorubas because our yoruba culture heavily influences what goes on to becomes/will become "nigerian culture" that other tribes adopt. because at the end of the day, for nigeria to survive, we will need to identify more as nigerian and that involves adopting a culture that we see as nigerian. this is more apparent in youths than older generations who grew up in secluded villages as opposed to diverse cities where many different cultures mix. I may be wrong on that though but it is something I notice. we yorubas accept, absorb and dominate. that strategy has worked for over 200 yrs (ask the black south americans) ![]() |
@ topic, to answer your question, the reason Nigeria hasn't disintegrated is that our government hasn't been weakened enough to the point of disintegrating. But the fact that such an idea is looming around means that we are quite weak. hopefully we will be able to rebound. Trust me, If boko haram, MEND, massob and other rebel groups overpower the country and destroy it, things will not be pretty. we will turn into an actual failed state like Somalia. most of us here are confusing the strength of govt with goodness of govt. a country's unity is mostly predicated on its strength NOT its goodness. a country can be very corrupt but if it is strong, nothing will happen to disintegrate it. ex China. i'm sure USA would love to invade or destroy it like Iraq. But China has an extremely STRONG government despite the corruption and inequality, it won't disintegrate anytime soon. Even USA is scared to touch it upon how much they love to criticize china, they can't invade it. talkless of small rebel, secessionist groups that will be squelched before they even appear. Imagine groups like boko haram, MASSOB etc in China. they will all be executed in the twinkling of an eye that's a very strong government. Even the best government in the world if it becomes weak will fail and disintegrate. ex. Imagine a country like USA without its terrorism laws. USA is very strong even though they love to tout "freedom of speech" etc. make any anti-govt moves, you will find yourself on terrorist list and jailed with immediate effect. that is a strong govt. boko haram, mend, massob etc all these rebel groups are just symptoms of weakening govt. they will not be tolerated in a country with strong govt ex. can you imagine Boko Haram or MASSOB existing under ABACHA? so, being good/corrupt free is not enough. most importantly, a govt needs to be strong and ready to squelch internal rebel groups. otherwise, it will not be able to exist at all. it will disintegrate. a govt should also be able to have a diplomatic relationship with stronger foreign powers of course. you need to be able to defend yourself from outside invaders and please/humble yourself before the powerful first world countries otherwise, they will teach you a lesson (as per iraq, libya etc). |
