PoliticsRe: Orji Uzor Kalu Replies Cameron by chaiks: 2:07am On May 12, 2016
Uzor should have kept quite because he was among those who kept this country like this through massive stealing. My headache is that after becoming stupendously rich, people will say at any attempt to try them, do you know the kingdom or rich background he came from? for Cameron to muster up courage to say so, means the level of stealing of which UK is a major dumping ground has reached unbearable proportion. Uzor did not even say whether the statement is true, he is only interested in diplomatic ethics. Who e Don help? There are certain things that shouldn't continue to happen know the ground of idealism. U see radical revolution in this country in the next few years.
EducationShould I Continue With My Course Or Divert? by chaiks(op): 9:23pm On May 11, 2016
Hello good people of nairaland. I have been thinking about my future career and how lucrative my course of study will be in the Labour market. I studied international relations and history during my undergraduate days. I have completed my NYSC since last year. Now I don't know if it's advisable to to go for masters in either diplomacy, international development or peace and conflict studies. Please do you think Nigeria needs these and what do you think will be the outcome in the Labour market? Besides is it possible to get an internship for these even if it's in rural communities in poor African countries just to boost my cv and do you think some can secure a masters scholarship in any of the courses with a very high 2.1?please I need your input.

I see the Nottingham scholarship has closed for this year. I'll be tracking it ahead of Jan. Please apart from your sister's transcript, wat are other criteria they considered bf giving her? Must one write English test and did your sister do part time work then?wat was her grade point? Are there other UK unis that can give one full scholarship? I suspect what is still holding the budget signing must be issues related with hike in constituency projects and recurrent expenditure of which the salaries of the legislators carries a greater chance of if I am right. I stand with the president on this. He has showed will here. The legislators should do the needful. They must be considerate this time.

CareerRe: Masters Or Stay On Job? by chaiks: 5:43pm On May 03, 2016
I I'll say go for your masters degree without wasting time. This is the right time for it considering the situation of the country. You at least can finance the masters program. Getting into a top Canadian university I'll surely open the doors for you anywhere. Besides, even if you finish, u can as well get a grant for PhD. Iknow you I'll be a good student for having made first class. The years spent for masters and PhD can fetch you temporary residence in canny. You will still be getting some money Tru part time job . by the time you finish, you must have gotten a blend of international experience having stayed away from your comfort zone. Even if there are no more vacancy in the oil sector, you can easily fox yourself as a lecturer in a Nigerian University. I wish I were in your shoe.
