Surely, investment and tourism would flow in greater number to these countries if the world knew the continent had this level of development? But when you go overseas, all most people know about Africa is... villages, animals, Masai tribesmen, conflict, poverty etc etc.
Don't we need to invest heavily in our own global media apparatus in order to disseminate the full picture of our rapidly developing continent?you are right dude. No wonder tourism is one of d highly studied disciplines abroad.
I posted these images on a couple of non-African sites, and most people reacted with shock and disbelief, with many openly stating that they never thought any of this existed in Africa.
THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.
I reckon that if the world knew the full picture of Africa, tourism alone into the continent would increase by at least 2,000%, greatly helping to lift the incomes of the majority. The great thing about tourism receipts is that the money goes straight into the pockets of the common man, by way of greater patronage of eateries, craft shops, various services, from taxi to all sorts of retail and leisure services. |

So the scholarship application and admission application goes hand-in-hand around January. You apply to the University and then You would be given a link during the application stage to apply for any scholarship including csc. hello. Gud work you doing here. Please I want to know the universities that one can be applying for admission and scholarship. Since the application starts by January, I I'll like to apply for masters as well in international relations or peace and conflict studies. I have all my documents except English test. I'll ielts or toefl be a must? I I'll really like to hear you to know how to prepare for January. |

I like this man. He is a realist. Not that the importance of prayer is downplayed. But we proactive actions to move forward. It's appalling that everything problem in Nigeria now is being linked to spiritual forces. The government then owe a duty to create an enabling environment free of intimidation so that we youths can free our mind and our minds and thoughts needs to be considered and implemented. Chiomaxoxo: Hi Chaiks, it is not easy to receive a scholarship. in the UK, the best they will do for you is offer you a discount; maybe 3,000 - 4,000 pounds off, i do not know about Universities in Denmark. and Australian Unis rarely offer. I am an education consultant so we have a lot of unis we work with. It is not easy to get a scholarship, not these days. Thanks for your response. Please wat do you v to say about scholarship chances for my course in Asian countries. At least, one can use that chance learn one Asian Language. |

I am a graduate of international relations and history. The fact is that I love this course because of the reasons someone enumerated above. But to my surprise, since after one year of NYSC, I am yet to find something doing for a living. All efforts to secure internship in some organizations and church group like JDPC proved abortive as they kept on telling me to drop my cv that they I'll call me. Now I want you brethren to help me suggest wat to do in ds dire situation. Is there the possibility of interning in any African country even if I I'll not be paid but I'll be fed and transported? At least I I'll v gotten a practical side of my discipline. Or are there international masters grants for this course that I can apply for with a cgpa of 4.49? Sometimes I feel am under one kind spiritual influence for staying idle since last year. Please your suggestions I'll be highly appreciated. |

freeze001: Did they need to be told that a viable economic blueprint spanning a desired period of time for implementation would need to be drawn up including feasibility and repayment plans? Do they think IMF and co are taken in by that insipid, seemingly simple look of supposed integrity which masks nothing but a black heart and thieving plans?
This is what sane, sensible and decent Nigerians have been saying even from the campaign era but all zombies will say is 'In Baba we trust, he has integrity, Baba cannot steal and once he is in charge no other person can steal'! Simple commonsense, they have to be told. Is it surprising though when they will travel and be moping at meetings, no notes or records to even attempt to appear serious if not intelligent.
Kemi will be doing English competition...exactly why did this intended loan request get to the public domain when they are not even prepared to defend same? Is it the offshoot of the stupid military mentality that the last order must be obeyed before any complaints are made? Ndi ara Chineke turu mbo n'ike! you are there bro. People thought that unnecessary bragging about integrity due to his war against indiscipline then would translate to good life once he enters. It's obvious his economic team is struggling. We need to assemble people like soludo and others who can think out of the box and come up with a viable economic blueprint. Else recession continues. |
