nairagrounds: I sent my new LOA to IRCC so I expect a reply acknowledging it from them, not just the automated response. Your correspondent with them may be different. They said it there now that they won’t reply you but then you will see they have received it in your account there. So login and see if it has been updated in the additional documents |

sunkymatete: Hi Gurus in the house, please my application is 7 weeks old now and till now I haven’t receive any medical notification( I have been refused before so no need for biometric )My agent told me to calm down but I just think all isn’t well.. My agent didn’t give any tracking information and I can’t even track the application online… is this normal please house? Thanks Firstly, i hope you have your login details? Secondly, we’ve seen second applications that took 7 months and there is no specific time for medicals to come. Thirdly, you can choose to do your medicals upfront |

onwosuigbo: IELTS
Please i wrote my ielts in May 2019 and got band score of 7.5. Do i need to write another one in applying for Visa? Thank you I think so because IELTS is just for a period of 3 years and this is May already but then IELTS isn’t compulsory for VISA processing |

onwosuigbo: Thank you for all the posts so far. Please i have a few questions to ask
1. if the amount you need for both tuition and upkeep for a year is 10m, and you have 12.5m sitting in your account; will this suffice for the application?
2. Is there a minimum duration you need to have had the money in your account before applying?
3. Please is my understand of the follow accurate: Go and get police clearance and put other documents together >> Create an account on IRCC website and upload the documents >> at the prompt of the embassy, you go and do medicals >> at their prompt, you go and get biometrics capture >> you wait for their feedback (what i think you call PRR) ie visa. Is this accurate? i am not clear on the flow. I often get confused as to whether one needs to just go to a designated hospital and do the medicals and submit it along with all documentations without the prompt of the embassy
Finally; are there any more documents to add to the list i have compiled thus far: Intl Passport Proof of funds Properties evidence Police clearance Pensions statement Letter of intro by employer Statement of Interest/explanation Passport photo Birth certificate Univ documents Admission letters/letter of acceptance Anything that will tie you to naija like family pictures and marriage certificate Medical report Pay slip IELTS score Siblings in naija - pictures Reference letter from church Reference letter from association/NGO Covid card Resume
Thank you in anticipation of your support and response. Please what is the reference letter from church used for in the application? Is Church sponsoring you? |

Nwachinemelu226: Hello everyone,
Please I recently applied for my study permit, April 19 to be precise. Got biometric request same day and just did upfront medicals today. As at last week, my eligibility hadn't started but just noticed today that it has started. Is this the usual timeline of things and does anyone know how long the eligibility takes now? Lucky you... some people’s eligibility is yet to start even after 2 months. You should be very happy oh... some eligibility starts after a week and lasts for months, some don’t even start at all till PPR... So however your application is going is how it should be for you |

Lezy: Please, someone (experienced guru) please would you advise me what to do on the following case:
I used agent to submit my visitor application. I want to apply study visa myself, I asked agent to send me the IRCC forms for visitor application. Then, I discovered the following: 1. Section where IRCC ask previous travel, agent ticked NO, whereas, I have traveled 4 countries oo 2. Year of starting and completing my degree were wrong.
I want to submit study application now, and in the IRCC form, there is a section of previous travel since age of 18. Should I tick YES? or NO?
Is it fine if I fill all information correctly in study visa application and write letter of explanation to explain these errors? Wouldn't this affect my application?
Other questions: my company reduced my salary, already told VO my initial salary, should I ask the company to write letter and address it to VO and explain the salary reduction? Would VO not think I want to japa because of my company financial situation?
Please, experienced guru, clear this smoke for me.
God bless you richly. For someone who has traveled in the past and to 4 countries... please what then is rock science about running your application yourself? At least know your login details so you can access every info yourself. Wait for the gurus... i no be guru |

Belle110: Hey guys, it’s PPR time, I woke up to it by 7:00am today and I was told to check for an update on my application, lol, I kept breathing hard to the part that says my final application has been approved. Then I started shouting. Funny enough, the first gcms note I’ll ever order is meant to come in by Saturday this week.
Docs submitted at first when I submitted my application:
LOA Uncle letter of financial support His UK bank documents 4 months Passport photograph International passport data page My bank statements 4 months IMM FORMS
Another document sent later and added on through Abuja on 1st of March - Mpower loan document
Other documents sent letter and added by Abuja on 28th of March - Employment letter - IMM 5257b_1 - Letter of explanation
Because I never submitted optional documents, and as the name implies, it was optional, until I saw a post here that says it doesn’t hurt to submit them, I rushed to submit them because it can push your application further.
I needed to add new financial information to the IMM1294 form and correct would accompany you tick boxes on the IMM5646 form. These were updated IMM documents and I wanted it added to my application.
The MP requested for an update on my application from Ircc on the 9th of April and helped to pass the documents across plus proof of enrolment of courses for May.
I submitted documents again through Abuja and it was added on 3rd of May, like 2-3 days ago. - my uncles British passport/ a citizen - Another letter of explanation explaining funds/money/sponsorship - Some chats we had, screenshots - School transcripts and degree certificate - Nysc certificate - My CV - His business card, he owns and Co runs his law firm in the uk - My birth certificate
Application timeline: - submitted January 15 - Biometrics added in January 18 - Upfront medicals and updated to pass on February 22, 2022 - Eligibility review started on ending of march or 1st of April thereabout - On 9th of April, MP confirmed to me that Ircc told the office that Medicals and criminality has passed and eligibility is still in review.
I really appreciate the information I got on the platform, it made me wiser and strategical.
I didn’t submit a lot of docs cause I believe it’s not by submitting a lot, but the genuinity of each doc and the proof it serves.
Special shout out to Teemenzo, Nina, bucky for always answering my questions!!! I can’t wait for your pprs……… guysssss… can’t wait! Big Congratulations... i am next in line to be celebrated. Amen |

Shadesbyespoir: Hello I need advice please I currently just got my student visa approved but I some concerns and would be grateful if anyone can help with clarifications. My program is a one year joint masters offered by a university in Madrid and Canada. I have finished the first semester in Madrid and applied for the Canadian visa but it was initially refused and I applied again. The school had to move the course online since most of the students didn't get the visa. We resumed the second semester online in January and we just finished on the 29th of April. My second application was approved on the 28th of April. I got the counter foil today and realized they approve 2months for me. What should I do? What options do I have ? I already registered for the summer semester to complete my thesis. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the lengthy message Have you shared your timeline with us after approval? |

HazeeyzaH: Ah... i applied with my 3 years old toddler... amount paid was 150 cad and 85 cad for only me...is something wrong?? Kindly assist Wow... when filling the form did you say you won’t be paying for your toddler? Or you won’t be paying for your application? Because they asked and you are to choose either yes or no. Or is it a case where toddlers are not to pay for application? Maybe because i paid for a 10year old. But kindly confirm to be sure |
