Destined2win:I liked the part where you prayed for her to be found soon. Pls can we just focus on that for now and leave the nomenclature part for another day? Thank you…!!! |
Destined2win:Its just a name of an area in Port Harcourt, not what you think...!!! |

“If a court grants an individual bail, I don’t care what crime the individual is accused of. There are many avenues for security agencies to pursue their quest without flouting the orders of the court. It is wrong, and we dare not continue to keep silent when one of us – a citizen of this nation,..– is granted bail by the court and some excuse is given for flouting the order of the court." |
Only in Nigeria where we read a judgement of a Court on the pages of the media months before the judgement is delivered. We say this online way back before yesterday. Meanwhile, she claimed elections did not hold in Rivers and here she is being sworn in as elected You can't put something in nothing but with this judgement, something has been put in nothing |
aramideji:I would rather criticize them and keep them on their toes than take a cowardice posture by remaining silent |
Tolatutu:Have you heard of what they refer to as 'Abuse of Court'...? You take an accussed before a Court, the judge gives an order, you run to another court, he also gives an order and you repeat thesame process in the name of different charges or offence. Multiple charges can be collapsed into few for speedy trial. I don't have a problem with the DSS holding him for security reasons but they should do a proper home work before the judiciary otherwise they will end up making a mockery of the hope of the common man. Today its kanu, tomorrow it could be one of your kinsmen |
TonyeBarcanista:Judges steps aside for various reasons. This is peculiar. Imagine a scenerio where a new judge comes in, looks at the case and grants Kanu's release (making the 3rd Court to grant his release) and the DSS ignores his order? Which Judge would want his orders abused or ignored by the State Security? Where a Judge feels his order or ruling would be abused, as in the case of this judge, he is at liberty to excuse himself. The DSS should be prepared to keep shopping for judges if our learned judges would think straight |
Ijaya123:Oh, how I wish you will...!!! |
TonyeBarcanista:I agree but what do you think about this judge's position on the matter? |
Remii: Did you hear Kanu say he would prefer to remain in detention? |
ERockson: “If a court grants an individual bail, I don’t care what crime the individual is accused of. It is wrong, and we dare not continue to keep silent when one of us – a citizen of this nation,..– is granted bail by the court and some excuse is given for flouting the order of the court." You mean after a court of competent jurisdiction had ordered his immediate release? |
... I personally feel Nnamdi Kanu has just set a new precedence in the Nigerian Judiciary with this landmark admittance from the judge. With the statement from the judge, Kanu's lawyers can go ahead to file for contempt of Court against the DG of the DSS otherwise, anyone arraigned by the DSS may follow suite and claim lack of confidence in trial. The DG of DSS should now immediately tender his resignation letter otherwise he must be invited to the NASS to explain on whose order he is acting in disobedience to a competent court order. If he fails to do so, then it becomes an indictment (which could also be an impeachable offence) against the President and C-in-C of the FRN who would prefer to look the other way while his appointee keep daring the judiciary....!!! |
kITATITA: She can even ride on the back of a donkey I don't care. She must be embarking on an official trip which allows her to fly a Presidential jet. editted.. Maybe I should let you know how much it cost the FG each time that jet is used. Where was the budgetary allocation for such trip to the "Office' of the wife of the President. If they'd retained the 'office of the First Lady' or even at least 'office of the wife of the President' we will understand but in this hypocritical show, they claimed they have scrapped an office which indirectly still exist |
Why say they have scrapped the 'Office of the First Lady' when she still flies around town on a Presidential Jet? |
So have you cross-checked to know who the impersonator was? Have you made a formal complain to the Police and the Telecommunication Company to ascertain the identity of the impersonator? Have you tried calling the impersonator again after the saga? |
Shame on all the women folks around her who could not cover her feminine dignity |
The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has upheld the decission of the Tribunal which nullified the elections of the former RSHA Speaker and 3 other Legislators. Meanwhile the Appeal Court is about now reading judgment for the remaining lawmakers of the RSHA Details shortly |
Quickly issue a denial and then remain silent...!!! |
Damage control response...!!! |
The Federal Government has directed all agencies capturing the biometrics of Nigerians to urgently aggregate their records so as to provide a unique Single Identification Number (SIN) to each citizen. |
comos:Are you ok now? |
johnmartus: Pls who are the 'They' Did you read 'Douglas Fredericks and the House of They' while growing up? |
While I sympathize with your situation, I would advise you not to lose hope or give up. The Bible admonishes us to "against hope, believe in Hope" Secondly, seeking help on Social Network may go a long way but may not take you all the way. Find something to do with your hands no matter how little or degrading it may seem. My mom always reminded me while growing up on the dignity in labor. God wants to help you but you have to take up a task and He will bless the work of your hands. Even if it means going to a building site to carry blocks and cement. Even if they don’t need any more laborers, tell them this same story you posted here, they will let you in. Remember, the future of those kids is in your hands. You must take up the challenge with no excuse allowed from you or your wife. |
Report reaching us has it that Gov. Wike of Rivers State has sacked the only APC chairman in Rivers State; Augustine Ahiamadu of Ogba Egbema Ndoni LGA (ONELGA). A Caretaker Committee Chairman has since been sworn-in to take over from the sacked chairman. It may interest you to note that out of the 23 LGAs in Rivers State, APC had only one LGA (ONELGA) whose chairmanship tenure was still running. Recall also that ONELGA was not among the LGA where elections were conducted during the last few day of former Governor Amaechi's tenure whose elected chairmen were however sacked by Wike on assumption of office. The ONELGA APC chairman was not sacked by Wike until today. ONELGA though had been a home of the entire cult group clash in recent time in the state with the latest being the sack of a whole community in Egi Clan (Coincidentally the home town of the sacked chairman) in the area during a fierce cult battle. Wike’s reason for the sack of the LGA Chairman was the sacked chairman's inability to curtail the spate of insecurity in his domain. Source; I was at the RSHA when the letter was read. You can also listen to Coolfm 95.9 Port Harcourt they've been airing it as well |
I think you misunderstood what john maxwell said. Every leader since independence is to blame for where we are as a nation. All this didn't just start today. The only way you can blame this present administration is if everything was groovy in the past and all of a sudden things went bad. As far as i can remember, things have always been terrible in Nigeria since independence, so blaming Buhari is nonsensical. Nigerians never rate performances on how good things were; it is always rated on how bad compared to the last administration. Depending on which administration was/is in power. Understand and accept the root cause of your problems and maybe you can start to change things around..... Your comment is ridiculous. How do u ask a new administration to accept the liability of the past Why didnt Jonathan accept the liability for Obj's blunders and massacre of the niger delta people? Each govt has its own policy and u shldnt be judging the new administration based on the impunity of the last oneDignifying your comments with a response? No Pls find out what the current administration said about GEJ's administration before they got to where they are today. If there was anyone who championed the cause of condemning every policy of govt. they were the ones. |
Interesting...!!! John Maxwell once said "Everything rises or falls on leadership" APC #acceptresponsibilty otherwise, the revolution you promised Nigerians some months back would start on you |
Before Amaechi left office, he was owing pratically every sector in Rivers State but Wike took responsibility for his 'sins'. APC #acceptresponsibility...!!! |
Very insightful...!! |
Tolexander:Which other party was against the cancellation of the result in Southern Ijaw? Your guess is as good as mine |
