The sense of injustice and resentment was stoked this morning when images of Neymar’s hospital x-ray began to circulate, with doctors reportedly postulating that, had Zuniga’s knee landed an inch higher on Neymar’s spine, the Barcelona forward may well have been left paralysed…

Fans crowd outside the Sao Carlos Hospital in Rio where Neymar was taken for treatment
|
It’s all a bit spurious, but there are reports emanating from Brazil suggesting that medical professionals have claimed Neymar came “within inches” of potentially being paralysed by Juan Zuniga’s knee last night. Neymar was stretchered off the pitch and taken straight to hospital following the incident, with Brazil’s team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar later confirming that the forward would play no further part in the World Cup. As previously mentioned today, Zuniga has since become Public Enemy No.1 in Brazil for knackering their young superstar – with plenty of malicious threats being aimed his way in the various social media circles, despite publicly offering a prayer to his hospitalised opponent after the game. “I hope it’s nothing serious, let’s pray to God,” Zuniga told reporters. “On the pitch I’m defending my shirt, my country, but I didn’t expect him to fracture a vertebrae. He is a great talent for Brazil and for the world.” “It’s a normal action, I tried to shadow him. I was not thinking of hurting him. I was defending my country’s colours.” http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/transfer_talk/194330/x-ray-supposedly-shows-neymar-was-one-inch-away-from-being-paralysed-by-zunigas-knee-photo.html |

honourableseyi: I have this funny question to ask in case of those of us that are going for Bsc. Please the question is kind of funny but just help me answer it the best way you can. Since Uni-Assists don't accept ND and some schools except the 100level transcript, what about if someone apply to NOUN(National Open University of Nigeria) complete a year there and get the transcript out and apply with it; do you think it is a good idea? Can it work? I am looking at it that someone can combine that and German language together within a year and move on the following year. Please all our ogas at the top and the general house what is your take on this?I guess u re planning to enrol for a degree program at NOUN and not certificate or diploma program.if dt is d case IHMO you can apply with yur first yr transcript since NOUN is among the tertiary insitutions in Nig. |
magnus4life: pls house, for those that knows about or have applied for an undergraduate course abroad, how did you go about the collection of your University certificate including ur Transcript and Bachelor's diploma at ur university here in Nigeria? hope to read your response soon, thanks. This depends on your sch...the itch most pple face is the long wait before transcript is made available meanwhile its nt all schs...contact ur sch to knw hw long it takes. |
oyesmiling: Pls nairalanders, can I be admitted for a Master program in any of the german tuition-free universities with my 2.2?sure yu can be admitted wit a gud statement of purpose(important) and tk note admission process differs for some schs.Abt d standardized test, check out the schs requirement for yu to knw d particular test to take or you may nt be required to tk any sef.for proper sch review log on to daad.de. or masterportal.eu |
youngprofdguru: Wats God forbidding? u wanna say it's not possible?its nt possible and can neva be possible |

Maria Assunta was the wealthy widow of an Italian property tycoon. She passed away two weeks ago at age 94. What makes Assunta's passing so unique is all of her fortune was left to her 4-year-old cat , Tommaso, according to ABC News. The cat inherited $13 million in real estate and cash. Assunta had no children. When her health started to fail in 2009 she bequeathed her estate to Tommaso. Italian law prohibits animals, such as pets, from a direct inheritance , states the New York Daily News. Assunta could not find a satisfactory animal shelter to care for her cat when she passed away. Instead, her nurse Stefania took care of them until her passing. Stefania and Tommaso are living in an undisclosed location away from potential kidnappers and avoiding con artists. The cat is not the first to inherit a huge fortune. Blackie -- $13 Million Blackie's owner, Ben Rea, died in 1988. Rea's $13 million estate went to his beloved cat and other cat charities in the U.K. His relatives were not too pleased with the decision, according to The Pet Gazette. Beryl Reid's cats -- $1.8 Million British comedic actress Beryl Reid died in 1996. In her later years she began adopting stray cats at her home in Berkshire , England, reports The Independent. Coco, Boon, Hamish, Eileen and Tuffnel acquired a fortune of $1.8 million. Reid designated friends to look after her cats. Red -- $1.3 Million TV NZ News reports Canadian David Harper, a bachelor and recluse, died in March 2005. Harper left all of his fortune, 1.3 million Canadian dollars, to his cat, Red. The United Church of Canada makes sure to care for Red's needs such as food and veterinarian bills for the rest of his life. Tinker -- $226,000 Margaret Layne was 89 and acquired an 8-year-old cat named Tinker. Layne did not have any children, according to BBC News. When she died in 2002, she left her North London home and a trust fund to Tinker. Layne's neighbors, Ann and Eugene Wheatley, are the designated caretakers of Tinker's home and overall care. Other cats from the neighborhood are enjoying Tinker's comfortable lifestyle. http://www.news.yahoo.com/italian-woman-leaves-13-million-her-cat-185500678.html |
shellcom: Hi guys, I just got the great long awaited email to come with 3 months insurance, you should join me celebrate oh...congrats bro.....its ur moment....Enjoy ur stay in Deutschland and be a true n loyal Nigerian out there# |
mcdemus2000: Chars1289, thanks for your response. I ve been to page 70 but I case am d owner of the company and I don't have any other personal tax clearance and the company have been out of business ever since but the bank account is still active that why I intend to still use it for my next application since that what they already have in their system all through my previous application. I just registered a new business name but it is not up to one year for taxing. so am still contemplating on using that but my issue is with the TAX CERTIFICATE and the inconsistency.Good you highlighted the inconsistency itch and its wht u shld deal wit cos v.o will lik to see d tax clearance of a company that still functions bt due to d little knowledge I hve in ds category of visa my own advice is for u to explain ds to dem explicitly why ur tax clearance z nt available yet, ur CAC for d new company will show d date of reg to show dt its nt up to a year for taxing. In addition, is it a business trip or tourist visa? If its biz visa, I think you purpose of visit shld correspond wit ur current company and not d previous company whc z no longer in operation.dts my opinion# |
