I boarded a Keke that has two passengers already seated. I made it the third passenger.

Normally, once I am in public transit, I do not join in whatever discussion that's brought up. I strictly mind my business or I press my phone. So as I was surfing the web, unknown to me, the guy close-by was peeking through.

Next thing was this conversation:
The Guy: I see you moving to the United States. Do you believe it?

Me: (looks to his direction and feigns a soft smile).

The Guy: I'm prophet Jero. With this your complexion, I see you in greater heights. I can pray for you.

Me: (forced another weak smile). Thank you.

The Guy: Have you traveled abroad before?

Me: (ignores him completely and the smile turning to a frown).

By the way, my bus stop was next. While the driver was negotiating a bend to stop so those who'll alight will, you guys need to see how this guy was forcing me to save his number so he'll pray for me. I simply told him thanks and walked away. He was so embarrassed.



Well, I didn't want to be rude or sth but believe me, religion in Nigeria is the biggest scam.
