GEJ is the man any time any day!!! They were NOT Noise makers!!!!!! |
The "6 different surgeries" ...were they for fibroid? |

waiting for APC to deny this |
My brother l think you should do the needful. Be counted among men who still beleive in preserving their integrity. Be faithful in little things so that ......... 7k is very small but your integrity is more important... |
hmmm.... .....when elders start behaving like kids......what will the kids do? Whatever happened to integrity!!! Elders are supposed to be men of few words, men out of whose mouths emanate words of wisdom. But alas, today we have leaders who lack good buccal sphincteric control and the resultant effect is foul-smelling, mucoid-streaken oral diarrhoea.....diasppointing is a gross understatement. |
Thank God she is recovering. But you have to inform her that she MUST take her drugs as prescribed because a repeat stroke is most of the time worse than the previous one. In my opinion, to give such a patient just recovering from stroke up to december for next appointment is outrageous to say the least. She is a client that shouod have been given a short appointment to see the effect of their treatment. Unless if you meant september otherwise december is such a long time. Does it mean they gave her drugs she will be taking from now till december? No reasonable doctor who knows their onions will do that. After one week take her back for follow up pls . For you, if you are above 25 years l will suggest you start monitoring your blood pressure together with your siblings because the chances of one of you developing HBP is already there. I wish her quick recovery. |
PeyButtons:Thanks a million. |
It is not true that every woman has fibroid neither is it true that it grows as the rate of childbirth increases. Fibroid has been known to develop more in those who delay childbirth either by choice or otherwise, those who started their menses very early (as early as 12 years), those who have late menopause (beyond 55 years), those with less frequent pregnancies etc. Infact the more one gets pregnant the less likely the fibroid will grow. Fibroid has been known to be rare before puberty and after menopause. So to say that every woman has fibroid is a fallacious generalization. Thank you. |
Senators, House of Representatives members and members of other legislative houses in the country who are lawyers, on Monday intensified their desire to be conferred with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN. The desire also affects all lawyers working in legislative houses in various capacities. Besides claiming that they worked harder than judicial officers, the lawmakers argued that regular lawyers and other legal practitioners were not better qualified for the rank than the legislators. The members pressed for the recognition during the inaugural meeting of “The Forum of Lawyers in the Nigerian Legislature”, held at the National Assembly in Abuja. Convener of the forum, Senator Ita Enang, while speaking for the group, said since the lawyers in the legislature participated in passing all the laws used for legal practice in the country, they were qualified for the rank of SAN. Enang, a former Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, stated that it was an “insult” to say somebody who made a law was not qualified to become a SAN, while another person who practised it could become one. He spoke more, “It is an insult not to make legislature lawyers SANs. “They make laws that the magistrate interprets and makes his way to the Supreme Court. Yet, you say that a lawmaker is not qualified to be honoured with the rank of SAN. “The legislator is not qualified but the lawyer who practises the law passed by the legislature is qualified. “Legislative practice is an arm of legal practice and should be recognised as such. “It is the legislature and the legislator that know the laws more than the practitioners because they draft the laws. “All the laws that practitioners practise and they are celebrated and honoured are passed by the legislature, but you say that same legislator is not qualified to be a SAN.” Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, told the session that the aim of the forum was to promote the productivity of lawyers in the legislature through capacity-building programmes. Dogara, who is a lawyer, was represented by another member and lawyer from Abia State, Mr. Uzoma Nkem-Abonta. He added, “The association is to promote cooperation, networking and interaction among its members. “Develop legislative practice as an enviable area of legal practice in Nigeria.” The speaker said having been informed that there were about 200 lawyers at the National Assembly, he was convinced that the forum should transit “to a well established association.” www.punchng.com/news/senators-reps-want-san-title/ |
She will have to return it |
[quote author=Demdem post=37176529]Get ur facts right...............By the way, did anyone hand over to Amaechi, yet he became the best Rivers Governor in her history. I dont think Amaechi should have based his action on the premise that nobody handed over to him to continue the cycle of wrong doing.....he should have been wiser and then do the needful |
sotyuzono:Thanks boss |
"Without God you are a Dog"....Ride on Wike....God first |
This is "Tech Na Uzu" ![]() Nnamudi da nightmare!! |
Sanchez01:That's the point |
Amaechi should have been in Rivers to hand over to Wike instead he was in Abuja. That would have settled all these....who is telling lies here? I think Amaechi is too educated and knowledgeable enough to know that issues like handover notes are crucial in the running of any system...as a former speaker & head of NGF, he should know better. How can a former governor be making a "blanket" statement on issues that concern money. How can he be saying billions of naira, 8 to 10 billion etc when he should be dwelling on specifics |
The day the owner go wake up from sleep say e wan go outside go piss ee.... But on a more serious note, what were they thinking? The relevant authorities should be notified because this is a disaster waiting to happen. That someone is living there (as evidenced by the curtain) is unthinkable |
PentiumPro:The difference is that Ebonyi is the name of the state whose capital is Abakaliki in south east Nigeria while Afikpo (Ehugbo) is one of the LGAs and the number 2 town in the southern part of the state. |
chezzy13:Correct.....Ehugbo unu jookwa |
plendil:Yea but l Mgbom is by the right not left bros.....may be a typo error. No doubt you know the bearing very well....God bless Afikpo Chic |
egift:Iyooo! iyooo!! iyaaaah!!!! |
Like seriously? This is true but l think the 9 months is an exageration. Afikpo has not had light for over two months now and people are wondering if this could be a consequence of the 5% theory. Hon Afikpo Chic has been up and doing to see that the issue is resolved. The protest has been peaceful so far |
I think anxiety may be responsible. You were probably anxious to know the result of your BP. Also BP does not discriminate. It can happen to children as well. Meanwhile you have to first relax then go for recheck. If it is confirmed then you have no problem |
If I were Elrufai l would have converted those properties to students' hostels instead of demolishing them |
Thank God for her. Artesunate/Amodiaquine is not a bad drug for malaria o but the amodiaquine component can cause serious side effects on some people one of which liver problem as well as some problem in the blood (agranulocytosis) both of which are potentially life-threatening. But like someone advised always take some minutes to read through the leaflets. |
Sorry to say but I doubt if the diagnosis was diabetes in the first place (you can show us a proof if you have any). I f it was then I advise you do not joke with your check up because the consequencies are better imagined than experienced. I donot doubt the efficacy of trad medicines but they still advise you go for check up reguparly |
You needed to see the drama that happened at the hilltop mansion of OBJ. The strike should have been avoided in the first place. The problem in the health sector is neither JOHESU nor NMA/NARD but the CMDs and the PS FMoH. You needed to see how those CMDs were trying so hard shifting blame to others but thank God for OBJ who told them their sins in their faces. Where is the committee of CMDs? I think it is high time competent administrators ran our hospitals not these stethoscope-dangling, egocentric comedians. |
I'm in |
Staph aureus neither causes malaria nor typhoid fever. I dont know what test they ran for you anyway. Your problem may be beyond malaria and typhoid (may even be less deadly than both). Staph aureus is a normal germ on our skin and some other parts of the body but could cause some wahala when they leave their normal residence to another part of the body. Yes a lot of things could result in antibiotics/antimalrial resistance commonest being inappripriate dosage (on the side of the health provider) and poor compliance (on the side of the patient) or even some inherent abilities of the germs to "tactically" evade these drugs. l dont know where they found the staph aureus in your body sample because it could just be a contaminant in most test results and the "uninformed" will just be wasting his/her time treating something that never existed in the first place.....wasting hard earned currencies in the process. For ethical reasons and for the sake of confidentiality l will not want to ask for your symptoms on this platform but l will rather suggest you try a TH since others you visited could not give you the needed answers to your nagging symptoms. |
