Op, HIV screening takes between 10 and 20 minutes to be ready so l don't know where you went for the test. Again l don't know why you went for the test (may be just to know your status, which is very good). I will suggest you go to another hospital see a doctor, tell him/her you want to know your HIV status, they will counsel you and send you for the test and then discuss the result and its implications with you before you go that same day. Meanwhile like Yabaleftist said being positive is not the end of life it only means finding a new way to do things. l wish you da BEST!!! |
If the hairs were not there ab initio and all of a sudden started growing then there is more to that, go and see a gynaecologist. Removing them with cream is NOT the solution. |
bettercreature:l'm sure you didn't mean to type what you just did. Doctors don't kill people, doctors are not terrorists. Caesarean section is a life-saving surgical procedure done for justifiable indications (except where quacks are involved). It is usually the last resort where the lives of both the mother and her baby are in danger. meanwhile l hope they will provide the materials for them to work with. |
I also expected the FRSC to have responded to the issue of the doctor having to part with some money for fuel. There is more to this story. |
Fadelex:Chaaii!! |
Chronic PID is not what any lady would wish to have, it has far-reaching consequences especially as it affects fertility. It is not something that is treated on the pages of Nairaland forum, it is something that should be taken very seriously and to think that you were even taking herbal concoctions shows that you have been with the wrong people. l don't know where you stay but you should go to a good hospital, if possible a teaching hospital to get a better care. You must also be patient and compliant with the investigations and medications. It is not something you will take drugs and symptoms will disappear and you too will default from going for check up. A word, they say, is enough for the wise |

Sad day! Sad sad day!!!
There must be something with this Abuja-Kaduna road.
God!!!
RIP |
I think you should meet the person that sent you for the test to do the interpretation. |
hmmmm ...Op sha Your mind bad small sha... wetin carry you go pharmacy shop wey make you forget your message, you go de put eye for another man something** they may be husband and wife who had some health issues and you concluded they went for an abortion.. hmmm nawaaoo Abortion is the loss or termination of pregnancy before 28 weeks (7months) in our part of the world. It can be done for some good reasons when the woman's life is in danger otherwise it is criminal oo. Abortion is illegal in Nigeria Using condom during sexual intercourse is not the same as committing abortion. A lot of theories exist as to when life actually begins. Some say life begins at fertilization others say it is at implantation. The Catholic Church (with due respect) believes that life begins at fertilization and that is why they STRONGLY advocate that during IVF treatment all fertilized embryos MUST be transfered in other words, the doctor should only fertilize the number of eggs he will use, none should be lost, life is sacred. It is an ethical issue. l'm just trying to make some common sense sha |
Can a learned fellow school me here please, l thought before a case goes to court the prosecution should have concluded all necessary investigations and come to court to present their findings (evidence); or has the modus operandi of our justice system changed? just curious to learn. |
For those who were not FORCED into the profession, the more you grow in the profession the more humble you become and the more disciplined you become. Brigafier7 said it all. |
KEEP THAT BABY!!! |
Can someone confirm this because l don't think Caesarean section will be up to that amount... there are a lot of people posing as staff pretending to help but are actually enriching themselves from the toils of others |
Op in as much as l admire your courage to put up this piece, l also think you are just trying to advertise yourself which shouldn't be. l'm neither an engineer nor an architect but l think it is against the code of engineering ethics to start advertising ones work or capabilities .lt is only quacks that do that. Architects are wonderful people who dwell in the realm of the impossible, they believe that all things are possible and it can only take an engineer who also believes in doing the impossible to achieve such. Architects are great people and l admire them may be because l also love drawing and designs. There are quacks everywhere it is even worse in the medical profession. Op l think it is overstepping your limits to try to correct what an Architect has done, it should be a team work not a show of superiority. troubleshooter l hail oo, easy easy my man. |
Good to know |
l wouldn't know, they are both stupendously very rich. l don't know why l have this *crush for Lynda, love her smylez, l look forward to meeting her one of these days, who knows.... Afikpo Chic, Hon Maria, is one lady that Afikpo people don't joke with, both the young and the aged love her. |
It is possible! Fibroid is found in ladies who are within their reproductive age group. Any lady who has reached puberty age and is not in her menopausal age may be diagnosed with fibroid. It is a hormones -dependent tumour although commoner between 30 and 39 years but can occur before age 30. It can run in families and also commoner among those who delay child bearing, and those who saw their menses very early (may be before 12 years) |
Op l'm sure you know that that word "Ebola" is such that should be taken very seriously...sure you know the implication because your post is more of a joke rather than something that should be taken serious. The cases of both Ebola and Lassa were all confirmed today? please be serious. That the Governor said it shouldn't be published? I have my doubts. However if the post is anything to go by, l think the authorities concerned should avert a calamity from happening. |
Walexz02:Noted, will get back to you |
Akious2k2:Ok l can now understand what happened. Thanks for the details. But l still think the relatives were not adequately counselled and convinced that the babies were dead already. A bedside ultrasound scan with the relatives present and being shown absent cardiac activity on both foetuses would have been enough conviction and would have averted opening the woman up in the full gaze of the public; except if they decided to go ahead with it. |
The National Association of Resident Doctors has held its National executive council meeting. The resident doctors had in the meeting issued a 21 day ultimatum begining from Monday the 4th of April till the 25th of April. Among the resolutions reached at the meeting include but not limited to issues on unpaid salaries of state university teaching hospitals (SUTHs), full lateral implementation of skipping, outstanding payment of salary/ relativity and other shortfalls. Others include residency Training policy guidelines, victimization of residents and casualization of residency training (locum) amongst others. The strike at state university teaching hospitals will commence serially at the expiration of the 21days ultimatum beginning from Osun state, then the entire South West a week after Osun with National joining a week after South West. The minimum end point would be that all outstanding salaries/shortfalls/relativity arrears and 100% skipping must be palpated by all federal Teaching Hospitals/FMCs, plus settling of the state university teaching hospital issues. www.medicalworldnigeria.com/2016/04/national-association-of-resident-doctors-nard-issue-21-day-ultimatum |
I'm just concerned about the baby and her mother. Lactation may not have been well established which pushed the man to go do wrong. What he did was wrong and deserves to be punished for it. A man who cannot afford #2000 for infant formula where will he get 50k? l didn't know our judicial system could be this "effective". We should all work hard to be free from the shackles of poverty. |
Policemen attached to Igando division in Lagos have arrested a man who allegedly stole an infant formula worth N45,000 in a supermarket.http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/man-arrested-remanded-prison-custody-stealing-infant-formula/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW5QS6jvRR0

Med School sha.... Chaaaii... Diaris god oo |
I'm sure the Ikeji's daughter that l know will not say that.... If she did, hmmmm.... You know what happened to Humpty Dumpty |
Op, to say that Afikpo is 80% Muslims is like saying that Osuofia is a Hausa man simply because you saw him in Kannywood, that is a fallacious statement and should not be taken seriously. There is an lslamic school in ENOHIA ITIM, which is just one of the small towns in Ehugbo (Afikpo) and a sizeable number of people there attend the school and are Muslims but even there, that number is not up to 80%. Outside there many people dont even know about the school not untill when they pass through there. Everyone has the right to worship whatever god or God they so desire but Afikpo is NOT 80% Muslims. Get your facts right!! |
He who has ears, let him hear!!! TonyeBarcanista, l could almost guess you were weeping while putting up this write-up, l could feel the passion with which you desire for peace in Rivers in particular and Nigeria at large. How l wish the youths will pay attention to every detail in this piece, for how long shall we continue to be fooled by the politicians, it is high time the youths started reasoning from their cerebral cortex and not from the spinal cord. A word, our elders say, is enough for the wise. ..... Thank you TonyeBarcanista. |
The lady that did the peripartum caesarean section deserves an international recognition.... That hospital deserves to be closed down ASAP. Of what benefit is the hospital's existence if it will take a lay person (the niece) to recognize a dire emergency and acted accordingly and the so called health workers were busy doing god-knows-what. If there was a doctor there his/her licence should be confiscated for life because he is a killer. He should have gone out of his way to save the lives of those twins. Every patient deserves 24 hours of free service in emergency situations.... Do we still have a conscience? No wonder Trump calls us (Africans) names. May God help us. |
Afikpo Chic weldone, keep it up. Ebonyi, making sense Jookwa!! |
Civil servants getting their own share of the blame |
Hmmmm... Blaming the typist or better the computer operator.... The blame game continues |
