chuna1985: With ur speech, I wander why Yoruba n Hausa collectively refused the igbos leaving with their Biafra I can't believe that this girl is chasing Nigeria's unity with Igbos being a constituent part kos her mum is Igbo. and this is what ogbemudia did during the creation of delta state just bkos his mother was from igbanke Sis,though you look Igbo with those fine features of yours I think its time you accept the Ofei' side of your heritage kos its the dominant one.your mum is no longer Igbo and as such can't dictate the wishes of 32M strong Igbos resident/domiciled in Nigeria. The 40M Igbos worldwide want the homeland to be free and nothing can stop that. When their armies are ready for war,Nigeria would know that the previous one in '67 was simply testing the microphone |

Neplusultra: Good one i'll also suggest dat once Biafra is comes, dere shud be only two churches, Anglican and Catholic, religion is one of d major factors of disunity among igbos, too many Pentecostal churches!!! Nne, alternatively I think the Katolik(Catholic) Church should remain, while the Anglican Church should be merged with other churches and called the Biafrikan Church. Biafrikanism should be a mix btwn orthodoxy and Pentecostalism.. with sprinklings of Judaic practices like worship on a shabbat(Saturday) and use of the menora. I love Biafrikanism !! |

wiseoneking: circumcision is nothing exclusive but 8th day is exclusive for the igbos and the Jews alone. there is no culture or traditional in the world that observe this on the 8th day. there are some recent scientific researches presently carried about doing it on the eight day. google and find out just Googled it..it was quite amazing I must tell you. anyway the Igbos and the Jews were ancient nations( the word 'IGBO' means ancient) with over 4500years and 3500years of existence respectively. they're what I call the first nations |
Politics › Re: Historical Photos Of Biafran Soldiers At A Military Base Near Owerri by cheruv: 6:21pm On May 27, 2015 |
Rotimi47: Not true, the Igbo's were supplied with top of the range sophisticated weapons & they were also supported by 5 other countries not to mention lots of machineries also fighting on there side; Igbo's claimed the built tanks etc but it not true as what they did was weld steel plates round tractors & fix guns on them, while the major reason they fought well & survived long was because a Yoruba man named Banjo was the one leading them into battle and the reason the lost was their invasion of a Yoruba town called Ore in Onfo State which made the Yoruba's to join the military in large numbers to fight Biafra & that was were the Igbo's suffered their highest casualties & a great turning point in the civil war; Also note that Banjo adviced Ojukwu against invading Ore Info State when Ojukwu instructed him to move forward to do so but after the were pushed back buy federal troops & Banjo was still getting more popular, Ojukwu framed him up & killed him, immediately the biafran ranks crumbled & they stated losing battles after battles & Ojukwu fleed leaving his people behind: True leaders fight with their people to the end & if they must surrender they surrender for their interest. The invasion of Yoruba land & the killing of Banjo a Yoruba man who is a good military tactician who choose to fight on the side of the Igbo & Ojukwu his boss who he loved & trusted with his life. I rest my case as this is what really happened during the civil war not all the lies & Biafran propaganda all over the place. Igbo's should learn to dialogue & make Yoruba's see reason why they must go to form their Biafra as its only possible for Nigeria to separate if the Yoruba's don't believe in Nigeria anymore. No threats from the south south or south east can separate Nigeria only constructive dialogue can. Biafra can not win another civil war even with the help of south south but dialogue can give you a free Biafra but to get people to listen to you, Igbo's must stop all their tribalism. GRADE: F COMMENT: though the essay was long, the student was busy talking nonsense! |

Abagworo: Odogwu and Ozomo are Igbo names. Why not ask yourself why you speak Igbo despite being proximal to Bini. It can only happen either through colonisation or overwhelming influx of Igbos which I doubt. Delta Igbo bears characteristics of Igbo with Bini influence and not Bini with Igbo influence. he's not ika nor Bini but a full fledged Ofei' man.look at the vitriol he's pouring out here..I wonder what he'd do when I do a comprehensive list of Igbo dialects by LGs by week's end |

How can someone whose father is Efeimozor Obaigbena be an ibo? Is Efeimozor Obaigbena an Ibo name? Ibos don edit and cook the story, expecting us to digest it! this is shamelessness! masturbating on Igbo issues is a cancer Ofei' tribesmen need to get rid of |

waternogetemeny: Boko Haram members in Government custody are usually well keppt and dressed. These are people responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of Nigerians. Mend got an amnesty for kidnap and killings in the NIgerDelta.
Biafra Zionist members staged a protest and disturbed the peace, they are publicly put on display Unclad. This disrespect against the igbos is reaching the point of implosion. I dont know how much more Ndiigbo can take before they either implode or explode in anger.
Compared to Boko Haram and Mend, wat exactly have the members of Biafra Zionist movement done to warrant a closed trial or even imprisonment? We thereby demand their immediate release and all baseless charges dropped.
Ndiigbo Add your voices.
Below is the picture of Kabiru Sokoto. nwanne, we're watching and waiting.. these men might be the spark needed to light the keg of gunpowder called Nigeria and when it does, the Tet offensive planned by the Viet Kong under Nguyen van Giap would be a child's play as regarding what would happen |
