sunkoye: "We think we are so highly advanced today with all of our technology, but I believe we PALE in comparison to the world before the Flood If Adam was a perfect man, created in the image of God, then MAN was extremely intelligent and capable of amazing accomplishments on his own. According to the Bible, early man also lived nearly a thousand years. Just imagine how knowledge could build upon knowledge and accumulate in that scenario. Imagine Socrates, Plato, Newton, Galileo, Copernicus, Einstein, Hawkings and other great intellects all living at the same time, sharing theories and working out complex math together! What could they accomplish as a team? Now combine those attributes with the introduction of an ANGEL'S wisdom, strength and power and we can scarcely imagine what was going on in the Pre-Flood World" i so much believe that there is so much more than what Genesis delivered. it must be pretty fearsome to live in those days! you're right! modern man barely grows beyond 2.5 ft in height whereas the ancients varied between 13-15ft in height. you can imagine the dilemma Israel had to face in the Canaanite conquest, because according to biblical historians Retjenu(Canaan) was one of the places that had giants in large concentrations. moreover when you look at the Atlantic ocean from space you'd notice a ridge running from north to south in the center of the ocean.. that was were the floodwaters burst from under the earth. life before the flood though harsh kos of the giants was good bkos there was no rainfall and there were no deserts.. the Sahara was one huge grassland! anyway sarmazayael says he's coming |

emm...can u pls try to do more of english please... according to biblical historians, YHWH created the world 2000 years before the deluge.. and the flood happened between 4500 and 4000 BC. that's why all the ancient imperial states had their first dynasties between 3000 and 2000 BC and the kings of those dynasties were giant men 1]Kemet(Egypt) => 3000BC 2]Sumerian => 3500BC 3]Sin(China) =>2000BC the other states came later from these ones. |

sunkoye: there might be some scientific explanations. but here we go as Bible enlightens
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
- Genesis 6:1-4 (NIV)
And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones."

It's just because that you can not overcome your past, you are bitter, filled with hatred for others and though making it very difficult for those reasonable Igbos to emerge.
But all you wicked Igbos will fail,Nigeria will stand and WE the true Igbos will support our brothers and sisters in other part of the country and they will reciprocate back then making it possible to an Igbo man to rule this country again.
Keep your hatred alone, here we are all Nigerians...We are proud of our passport. dreaming dreams |

Empty thrash. We are used to your usual 'doomsday' predictions. SSers are much awake now. They realize the seed of discord planted between them and their culturally similar SE brothers since 1970s as a mere attempt to take advantage of them.
What you should be thinking of now is ways to forge your upper nigeria half country forward when the lower niger secedes. With over 70% of Nigeria's current economy dependent on the oil of lower niger, upper nigeria will be plunged into wanton economic stress.
Lower Niger will be pulling out also with its nollywood. With nollywood and crude oil out of Nigeria - two heavy areas Nigeria is known worldwide positively for, I wonder what will be left of your so-called Nigeria.
Lower Niger has the human capital development and resources. Trust the Ibibios, Igbos and Ijaws in their creativity. The same way Nollywood was moved from a non-existent movie industry in the 80s, during its inception, to number 2 in the world is the same way FLN will skyrocket before your korokoro eyes in less than 20 years. You guys will be queuing up at our dear embassy in your nigeria begging for mere visitor's visa to escape your dungeon Nigeria as usual.
Not only oil, but our economy will be diversified to make it more viable. With smaller land mass, proper control of the country will be easier to manage and constant power electricity will become feasible. We will generate twice the electricity that we need, such that we will sell to neighbouring countries lavishing in constant power outage, including Nigeria. Business is business. International trade must be balanced.
Truth be told, Ijaws and Ibibios share very similar cultures with Igbos than any other groups in Nigeria, In fact, the major difference between these groups in the lower niger is language. When it comes to culture, Igbos and Ibibios share over 90% culture, traits, behaviour, etc. Lower Niger is a homogenous region and should be allowed to be alone as such.
With a country of ours, all unnecessary I-no-be-Ibo coming from certain Igbo-communities will stop given that they are no longer under the pressure of Nigeria to deny their Igboness to gain favour and acceptance from other Nigerians.
The talents of SE have been suppressed for too long. Allow us just 20 years, and you won't smell our back how much more seeing it. flesh and blood didn't reveal this to you |

dcaliph: kindly remove Edo from that map. Thanks
Some people have been quoting me and saying all kinds of things. The one I can't take is calling Edo people weak or playing second fiddle. It is proven that an Edo/deltan man can never play second fiddle to anyone. Until the punitive expenditure we were never conquered but we were the conquerors.. Though we might be called minoriy, we championed the minority course to leave the shadows of the 3 major tribes by having our own region as far back as 1963. Presently the chairman board of trustees of the PDP is an Edo man, the Chairman of APC is an EDO man. The Edos can never play second fiddle to anyone.
Proudly an Edo man. see who's talking!! if the Bini don't play second fiddle, why did the Midwest wait till the East pay the Balewa govt 8M in pounds before it was created |
