The true losers of this election are Nigerian lawyers. God, the way PDP supporters walked away from challenging most of the election results is just too sweet. Now the progressive lawyers must await their hero buhari to supply them political cases.
You got it spot on. Especially Femi Falana and Keyamo. I am sure that Falana was already daydreaming of establishing his own university the way Afe Babalola did after stealing so much during OBJ's reign

pardon my naivety. What's the point of having a bridge like this to serve as pathway for boats? Is it for tourist attraction? Or is it cheaper to construct and maintain this type of bridge than a bridge for trains (I mean new trains o, not the old refurbished 1822 trains that takes 10 hrs from Enugun to phc)
This is the Elbe-Haval canal that links the Eastern city of Magdeburg to the river Elbe. Canals are an essential part of German transportation infrastructure network. Goods are moved between industrial hubs via these canals. There is also the ship lift at a place called Eberswald. A magnificent piece of engineering work

My brother not what i meant i was pointing out to the other guy that afikpo at large speaks almost the same dialect with abia and not just edda.
Jokwa nwerem. Let the people keep on ranting. We are from Ebonyi and very proud of it and what we have achieved as a people and as a State. I schooled in Afikpo and they have very fine and enterprising people there, same too as my Ohaozara people. I have met some Ezzas and Izzis and they are hardworking too in whatever vocation they find themselves in. If I speak my dialect and you are not able to understand me, it's your problem and not mine. Every language has its linguisting variations according to regions and no dialect is superior to another within a given linguistic group. Jokwa nwoke ike

not just edda but afikpo entirely

btw am from afikpo north greetings to my fellow ebonyians
Would your being included in Abia State make you feel better? You were in Imo State for decades and later moved to Abia State and nothing changed. Being part of Ebonyi State has fasttracked the development of Afikpo as a whole better than if it was left as part of Abia
PoliticsRe: APC Warns Against Last-minute Looting, THE PUNCH. by chidexy(m): 7:43am On Apr 27, 2015

Even if due process is followed, it negates morality and good conscience to embark no such ventures. Why did they not do the recruitment mid-tenure to feel the pangs of being bogged down by a bloated wage bill? Good that a prior warning is issued because all these recruitments intended to cripple the in-coming govt would have to be nullified so that the new govt would have to make its assessment and determine what staff strength may be required as well as take the credit for the jobs created. As for the investors wishing to take part in the hurried privatization, they should be advised that they are taking a gamble that carry greater risks than rewards.
APC can only exercise their authority from may 29th. Before then, the PDP administration is constitutionally empowered to rule and that includes recruiting personnel

Ha, this is another one ooo. Since I'm spending just 2 days, I will just stick to Snacks. Thanks...
@OP good work you are doing. It's not exactly the way they described it. Most food vendors (mostly road side) sell jaki meat alongside others. You get what you prefer. They have jaki meat separate from cow or goat meat and both are not prepared together.

Besides, you wouldn't be eating at a roadside buka. That's how erroneously stereotypes develop. By the way I come from ebonyi state
BusinessRe: Xenophobia: MTN Nigeria Warns Of 6,000 Job Losses by chidexy(m): 11:59am On Apr 21, 2015
Glo, Airtel and Etisalat will be rubbing their hands with glee waiting for MTN to close shop in Nigeria and throw 6000 workers into the job market. You better tell your South African President to rein in the attack dogs. They are giving their country a very bad image

Election rerun things. They are the military wing of APC trying to change the demographics before the scheduled rerun elections in Donga

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Supporters Planned To Kidnap Jega - Reuters by chidexy(m): 6:46pm On Apr 16, 2015
The poor writing style will tell you all you need to know about the article and its source. All these in a bid to rubbish the President. He has conceeded defeat already, what else do they want from him? Oh, just to prove he's no hero?
PoliticsRe: Commercial Bus Somersaults On Enugu-port Harcourt Express (pictures) by chidexy(m): 4:52pm On Apr 16, 2015
ckenneths:
But, is a vehicle likely to somersault on a smooth road without potholes?
Oga Spyder very much likely. From the tire footprint on the road, it's clear to see that the driver was either distracted or slept off while on a high speed and stepped hard on the brake trying to correct his steering. Common mistake people make in emergency of stepping too hard on the brake pedal
PoliticsRe: Imo Gubernatorial Election Results - Collation Live by chidexy(m): 1:32pm On Apr 12, 2015
Most of the results released so far, are from the area where Gov Rochas comes from and the trend is expected. Ihedioha of the PDP will win by large majority in Mbaise and Owerri axis. Okigwe zone will likely be the tie breaker. There's nothing wrong with the result from Mbaise. They are more populated than other parts of Imo State and since this is their best chance of ever governing Imo State, the voters turnout should be high

Ndi'Igbo shot themselves in the foot.
Ibo people are the architectures of their nemesis.
No we didn't. We voted PDP and have no regrets doing so. There's a reason APC's message isn't resonating there. If they want to make inroads into the region, they should win the masses over with their programme there. Now they have the opportunity and the power to do so.
PoliticsRe: Elected 8th Republic Senate Members by chidexy(m): 5:48pm On Apr 03, 2015

Can you include the party please?
The first set of senators are the PDP senators, followed by the APC senators, arranged according to their states (alphabetically)
PoliticsRe: BREAKING NEWS : Jonathan Stops Pdp’s Bid To Contest Buhari’s Victory by chidexy(m):
This is bad news for Femi Falana and the delta lawyer Keyamo. What would happen to their dreams of establishing their own university in 2019, the same way OBJ's lawyer did?

Report reaching us as proved that, former general Muhammed Buhari And his wife has been successfully accredited. It took aproximately 50 seconds to do this. More reports coming
It took about 5 minutes to complete the accreditation process. Buhari had some problems initially with card reader reading his fingerprints, but after about 3 tries, it went through. His wife's took less than a minute.
