Oga Spyder, the palm trees around the house are going "waste". They used to produce juicy milky liquid in the days of yore. More |
welldone Oga Spyder. You and your team are simply wonderful. These pictures bring back childhood memories |
spyder880: On the issue of women working, I remember I opened a thread in the family section some months back about the moral justification of allowing women to do hard labour, in that thread some women attacked me and wanted to know why I think it is wrong. Can we all check out the thread "Should women do hard work" in the family section. Here is the link to the thread Oga Spyder was referring to: https://www.nairaland.com/1015279/should-women-hard-work |
spyder880: the workers shared some local palm wineOga Spyder na u carry the keg of palmwine for hand? You need ... ehmmm aguba! |
that's great. If your project was located at Okposi I would have recommended some very nice Palmwine taper that knows his duties. Meanwhile, the sand that was supplied to you for the decking, was it mined from the river or just dug up from the soil? It's looking a little reddish to come from a riverbed |
Oga Spyder, great job you are doing. The building is coming up fine. Hope you are also enjoying the Nkwu Enu that abound in Ohaozara |
spyder880: This deck happened in Enugu over the weekend, we did this in our spare time on Sunday.Good Job you are doing Oga Spyder and the project is coming out fine. Bolded refer, do you and your workers ever get to rest? I doff my hat for you and your indefatigable team |
The coach should let the girls run free in the second half. An African Team shouldn't have the worst scoreline in female competition. Not when Congo still got the worst loss in Male category |
Sam Milla: Bia nwoke Nkanu, a bum onye IHE di na Awgu LGA. Not ebonyi. Wherever that came fromIs it a shame to come from Ebonyi? Because I certainly am proud to be an Okposi man in EbonyiState |
1025: it is only in movies will a player that sees games week in, week out at chelsea will be dropped for players that i do not know their names. we keep doing the same thing everyday and expect different results. we are watching.Mikel asked to be excused from the game, because it was initially scheduled to be played on artificial turf. And he's been advised against playing on such surfaces by his doctor. He'll probably feature in the return leg in Calabar/Enugu in October |
shymexx: ^^^Why do Nigerians like playing for other countries in Africa? The Oliseh guy should be playing for Nigeria....He's not Nigerian, but Liberian. Was tutored by Sunday Oliseh's brother, who runs a football academy. He only adopted "Oliseh" Surname, the same way Babayaro adopted his "Babayaro" name |
Great Tournament from our Girls. We are proud of your achievement and style of play and for all the effort you put in. Let's hope that the Federation will build on your success for future tournaments. Well done Girls! |
Thanks girls. We are proud of what you have done. Didn't work out this time. You are our heroines |
@Mrs.Oyibo, how old is your mother in-law? |
That's it. Semi-finals here we come. Great play girls |
great goal from Oparanozie |
the Mexican girls will try to come on strong in the second half, but we hope our girls will find the goals |
why in God's name was that goal disallowed? |
let's go girls |
Exponental: Omo......... I laff ooooo.Nsogbu |
trae_z: why Naija no go qualify for 2nd round. See Ghana's young team as compared to our Under 25sBelieve me, you can't determine Ghanian's age by looking at their faces. why do We always talk down on our own. |
So far so good. The game started off slowly and was mostly played in the midfield. The Brazilians never gave our girls the space to really express themselves and for much of the first half, the goalkeeper could have gone shopping as the battle of the midfield continued. However, in the final 15 minutes, the game came alive. Esther Sunday has been simply brilliant, so is the Adeyemo girl and Desire Oparanozie has also been a handful to the Brazilian defence. Our Captain, Ofoegbu, has been keeping the opposing attackers at bay with her brilliant defending. I see a more explosive 2nd half - the Brazilians going all out to try and get a goal, thereby opening themselves up for Sunday and Oparanozie to exploit with their speed and superior ball control. Go girls!! |
But you have to give it to our supporters. They are really lifting the girls up. Just about 30 or so Nigerians there but their voices are echoing the world over. Carry go! |
What a miss from Oparanozie. Would have been a second goal for Nigeria |
what a stunning goal that was from Francisca Ordega Nigeria 1 - 0 Brazil |
two great chances we missed now. Our girls are gradually taking the game to the Brazilians. Go girls, win the game and you are free to shave off the Brazilian girl's hairs (for keeps) |
Lordave: Na 3 break we get for football? It's too hot there and don't forget it's early afternoon there and the temperatures are in the high 30°C, so they get a timeout after 25 mins of play in each half |
25 minutes gone in the first half. The game is still Bra 0-0 Nig. The Brazilian girls have taken control of the game in the past 15 minutes or so. The game is played mostly in the midfield with both goalkeeper haven't been tested so far |
How come say na pure water our girls dey drink? |
