if anyone had followed my posts on soludo, the person will find out that i have written same. soludo was a servant to the most high(obj) and now is the reward time hence the people of anambra will be used to compensate his loyality not minding the right to vote for and be voted for. what obj and pdp is doing in nigeria(denying the citizens their voting rights) is a criminal act. soludo and morrice iwu are disgrace to the honour of professorship. why didn't okonjo iweala join pdp and take over her state. she is a good example of proffessionalism and specilization. most traders here think it is their right to contribute in every topic and thereby expose their ignorance. there matters of higher standards and over head bridge traders can overlook them. like falana rightly said, ribadu, el rufai, soludo and other criminals who served and helped obj's high looting regime shld join their colleague (bode george) in prison and that is very simple. |

in the first place, i do not believe his father was kidnapped. but if this is not their game plan, the ransom is too small for a former central bank gov under obj and anointed gubernitorial candiadte of the almighty pdp. again, if this is real, it will provide a real test for soludo who has to choose between his father's safety, N500m and his gubernitorial ambition. if these kidnappers will concentrate on all those who kidnap our God's given resources, it will be a balanced equation. |

i have said this long before now and i will say it again. there is likely going to be another imo state gubernitorial scenario here. if we can remember, eng; charles soludo was the anointed candidate not withstanding his position in the primaries. when ararume who claimed he won went to court, the ticket of pdp was given to him by the court. all efforts of obj to change that failed hence he publicly announced in imo state that pdp was withdrawing from the election. if the other pdp candidates have enough power to force soludo out, obj and his gang will have no choice than to get another replacement of soludo into place or withdraw as usual and then try their antics through the pdp members in the house of assembly to force the gov to cross carpet. if this news will remain valid, i will be happy for anambra people for rejecting the evil plots of obj and his pdp gang members. if not for their rigging specializations, why would a normal person go against the wishes of 48 candidates just to pls one and still believe he will win? shame to pdp and all the gang leaders. |

Power is nothing without control.@afam, in which aspect of your yar adua, pdp/obj madness do u find lacking? the first and major crime of ait was the airing of live concert of the then third term and that has been their undoing hence the need to make sure the station suffers even if it takes 100 years to archieve that. the truth of the matter is that those in power have failed and no station can use computer to change the status of our roads to suit those in power. a bad road must be aired as a bad road. make the road look nice for the people to see with the eyes and let us see when ait will go to niger republic and get a road their to decieve and excite us. yar adua is veryu sick and ait has no choice than to show a sick man. bode george is a criminal and we know that with or without ait. obj selects practically people for every political position in nigeria and that is what ait shows. if you have your ways, afam, nta and other bought over stations will be ur tv stations of our time. ait is trying and i expect more from them. we are looking forward to blackouts at the various playing centers during the u17 games in nigeria and as soon as that is done, ait is expected to show that. ina democratic setting my dear, their opositions and they are legal as they are called watchdogs, they are paid in advanced countries for bringing the govt to order. your stupid and uninformed obj is an anti oposition. nigerians adverts on cnn during obj's regime was cut off because of their documentary on niger delta so such rubbish is not new here. |

The ruling Peoples Democra-tic Party (PDP) has read the riot act to it members by threatening to sanction or dismiss any erring member who takes it to court. Apparently reacting to last Friday's Abuja High Court ruling which set aside the nomination of Prof. Charles Soludo as the Anambra State governorship candidate and Senator Emmanuel Anosike as his running mate for the February 10, 2010 election, the PDP said henceforth, any member that takes it to the court would be dealt with. In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Ahmed Alkali, PDP said: "The party hereby directs all those individuals who have taken the party to court on flimsy grounds to withdraw those cases immediately or face the maximum sanctions prescribed by our constitution. Those who wish to remain bona fide members of our party must obey our own rules. "For further emphasis, the party shall wield the big stick on any member, no matter how highly placed who chooses to distract our focus from building a united, cohesive and disciplined political party whose ultimate objective is not just to win elections but also to work for the good of the people of this great country. "In furtherance of our desire to ensure that the party's laid down rules are strictly observed and in order to safeguard the integrity and cohesion of our party, the party shall henceforth take decisive disciplinary action against any erring member who fails to follow our constitutional means of seeking redress." The PDP condemned what it described as gross indiscipline by some party members in some state chapters of the party. Accordingly, it said: "PDP is particularly disturbed by the plethora of unwarranted and misguided court cases instituted by PDP members against the party which are aimed at derailing the cohesion and smooth administration of the party." It therefore reminded members of the provisions of Article 21.1 (I) of its constitution which prohibits members from taking the party to court under whatever guise without first exhausting the internal mechanisms for seeking redress. It also urged members to abide by the resolutions of the 48th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting where the National Working Committee (NWC) was mandated to henceforth initiate disciplinary procedures against any member who brings the party to contempt and ridicule. The party said: "It is imperative that all members exercise restraint and utilize available channels of redress within the party rather than a hasty resort to the courts." Meanwhile, the Anambra State chapter of the party has threatened to sanction its governorship candidate for the 2010 election, Soludo, over alleged breach of protocol and disregard for the state executive. Soludo is alleged to have overtime "shown demonstrable disregard for the state executive of his home state (Anambra) while carrying out certain activities with impunity". Addressing journalists in Awka, the state capital, weekend, the state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Afam Ilouno, said the action of Soludo by not identifying or involving the state executive in his activities was embarrassing, just as it fell short of party principles and guidelines. He said: "It is embarrassing that even the national and zonal leadership of the party could enter into a state without any form of communication to the state. It doesn't show cohesion and democracy in action. The action laid credence to the rumour making the rounds that their target is to dissolve the state executive of the party. "It is an embarrassment to the PDP constitution that members of other political parties want to decamp to PDP and the wards, local government and state executives in which they come from are not involved; only for the zone to handle the matter. "As far as the state executives of the party are not aware of what happened today, the so-called decampees are not PDP members and cannot be given our membership cards. What happened today is like what the state executive has been kicking against when no indigene of the state was involved in the process that purportedly threw up Soludo as a candidate." what a shame? which way nigeria? is this a modern way of democracy? is this democracy by fire, by force? what happened to the peoples' right to vote and be voted for? is this obasanjocracy? is the judiciary no longer part of the society? what is happening here? |

@poster, what do you understand by the word victory? who did soludo win? why has nigeria and the igbos in particular lost their sense of humour so much that nothing is relevant to them? why are some anambra people rejoicing over a man who is about handing them over into slavary? what is the difference between what is happening today in anambra and that which brought yar adua to power? events in nigerian politics since 1999 proved obj to be a devil and we are all aware that no free gift comes from the devil. obasanjo selecting and imposing soludo on the people of anambra is another way of telling anambra people that they do not know what they want as a people and some of you are here to celebrate such madness instead of standing up against such idiot. when will an idiot like obj allow the people to choose their leaders? who is obj to know more than all nigerians? what is the name of a political system where an old and out fashioned man selects the rulers even against the wishes of the people? in this mordern age, why will an old slowpoke be moving from one end to the other imposing his gang members on other people? what exactly is the interest of obj in anambra state? |

I actually placed a bet with myself that the writer cannot finish his post without making reference to OBJ at least twice.@afam, i thought u have finally bowed out in shame. obj has been ur hero and so has he remained. the issue here is selection instead of election and we can unianimously agree that the theory or selection was formulated by no other person rather than ur hero obj. he tried in imo state with eng charles ugwu as his selected candidate when ararume won the pdp primaries. ararume was brave enough to use the court injuctions to stop ugwu. when all his pranks and tricks failed him, he had no other choice than going to imo state to officially declare that" no eng charles ugwu, no pdp in the election" hence the emergence of ohakim of ppa. are you not foreseeing same scenaro in anambra come next year? no matter how many times i mention the name of ur hero(obj), i do that with points, facts and figures highlighted. reffer me to any line of mine with his name and i will download his madness to u. he is the main problem of nigeria today. he is the owner of pdp, he is the owner of nigeria. name anyone who left pdp and i will reffer u to his relationship with obj. he (ur obj) selected yar adua and imposed him on us and today the result is what we are enjoying. as long as he refuses to quict, i will continue mentioning his name. |

the first point here is that soludo does not believe in himself. the second is that he cannot even win ordinary primaries talkless of main election hence the need for the surport of obj in hand picking him. soludo will only be a rubber stamp in the office while the obj boys will be running things. anyone who cannot win elections can never make good leadership. soludo must learn to live by the realities of the day which is, we are in democracy where people have right to vote and be voted for. obj is not in any manner part of the legal system in nigeria to choose and impose an slowpoke for any position as he did in the case of yar adua. anambra people must resist him once again and call off his bluff. soludo is a yahoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. |
