na_so,@Eastbay, what did i make you believe about mikel? what did the media make u believe about mikel? and which media are u talking about? nigeria, british or world media? i can understand the frustrations of nigerians. if mikel did not honour a match, there will be problems and if he honours a match there will be more problems. is anyone here suggesting death for him? ferguson, mourinho, grant, scolari and hiddink all believe that mikel is good but unfortuantely, nigerians believe he is not good so how can he work well for us? if u must get the best from a player, u must accept and appreciate him otherwise there will be no magic. despite his inabilities to kick the ball, mikel was rated jointly with one other player as the men of the match so i don't know how they come to that. with your analyses here, u must be an authority in football, i suggest u insert more time and energy in discovering talents rather than condemming discovered ones. do u realise that these guys at the end of the day receive huge sums of money for doing what they did in tunisia. do u know that u are even paying them to watch them even from a far distanceon screens. most of us here have ended up using their own funds to buy heart attack. the truth of the matter is that mikel has turned to be the problem of every househood in nigeria. because of the backward system of football mikel is into now, everything in nigeria has turned to backwardness. i enjoined nigerians to pray for mikel to start playing well so that other players will follow suit, so that our politicians will start behaving well, so that police and other security outlets will start functioning well, so that our priests will start preaching well, so that our married men will start being good husbands, so that madmen in our streets will become normal again. now that we all have agreed that mikel is the course of our various problems in nigeria, my prayer is this; God please help mikel to start playing well again if possible better than ever. please give him the strenght and courage to dribble from post to post and score as many goals as possible in every match. i pray and hope that members of nairaland who claim to love nigerian football will say amen to this in Jesus name - Amen |
if this is a crime, every club in the world is guilty be it english, italian or nigerian so it is beyond spanish things. i would want to draw your attention to the fact that real madrid, chelsea, man u, inter, barca etc are registered business companies whose main objective is to maximize profit at the end of the day. the idea here is to catch them young. the players in question are also guilty of this same crime as they will always jump to every opportunity of playing for other clubs whenever the pay is higher. robben left chelsea because they refused his new pay demands hence madrid who were ready to pay. players always seek pay increase and we do not hear about all these as long as the clubs are ready to pay. etoo if we talk outside sentiments, has reached his climax and the law of dimishing returns is setting in hence to remain in barca, he will need a pay cut and be informed that no club will buy etoo with readiness to maintain the high pay size. okocha had the same problem in boltom an english club. ashley cole left arsenal for chelsea for pay increase. look arround all the leagues in the world, most transfers are based on improved pay packs again, madrid as a club most times works with the directives of the coach who says who and who are in his game plans and if for one or two reasons, certain players become excess, the only option left will be to sale them to interesting clubs. in my submission, i am saying, clubs are out to make profits and anything short of that will not be in their interest and this has nothing to do with spanish clubs but clubs all over the world. |
i love naija. if i consider the number of coaches we have only here on nairaland, i always want to prove the figures we have from our census wrong. in every 10 nigerians, we have 10 coaches or even 11. it is possible nigeria is suffering from over sabi. we know everything yet we know nothing. even if fifa rate our players at the end of every game, we must individually re-rate them especially based on what we have been thinking about them. the lives of our players will soon be at risk as most of us are even trying to transfer our family problems to these players. in brazil, such big name as ronaldinho was dropped for some unknown players while gilberto silva a player wenger dropped long ago is still active with his national team and such vital decissions are made by the coach. i mean a coach who is in charge. i watched the italian side yesterday when the coached felt things were not working fine for them, big players were withdrawn in search of victory. if we know the roles of a coach in a team, we must begin to understand why scolari was sacked and hiddink with the same crop of players began to get results. we must remember that ramos was replaced by rednapp and the spurs was saved from relegations even without much changes from the side. if nigeria will get the right coach and the big fat fools at the top give the coach free hands to make decissions as we saw when abacha was in charge, only then will nigerians know that we have players in this country. the nff has bastardised the sports that brings joy to us in their political madness. amodu is out of job and is ready to do anything to keep his ass on the one available. my fears are not only on qualification but the shame of not winning a match in sa in case we qualify. |
darkness is a symbol of evil while light represents good things. being in the dark means a lot and could be linked with nigeria's backwardness. we must appreciate the fact that some hiden powers must be behind this but the good news is that prayers and fastining have been in place. i don't think that any normal nigerian will oppose this over due move. my prayer is, everything that is not of God must be uprooted in our lives in the name of Jesus. |
Remember the people voted the same govt into power etc.@ElRazur, i can take everything u have said here but not this comment above. were u there when nigerians vote them into power? these are millitary civilains who seized power by force and have decided to rule over us even without our consent. |
this thread means little or nothing to my political belief. let us look at it from the following points; 1. did you vote him for this present tenure? if not who did? 2. was he fit for this present tenure? if not how come? 3. how did he get in for this present tenure? if not through election then how? to me, answers to the above questions remains, obj! obj!! obj!!!. if we want to be factual here, we must be talking about the man who owns nigeria, who says who goes where, when and how. the man whose interests surpass that of over 140 million nigerians. let us be talking about him because if his purposes for which he brought yar adua are intact, then we should be looking at dates arround 2014. if it is obvious that we did not contribute we did not contribute towards his coming, why bothering about what he is doing? the man that paid the piper has been busy dictating the tones. |
this news is a great relief for me. the guy always pose himself as a terror for my cool friend federer. oya fed do ur thing. i stopped watching the game and loosing interest when this nadal will fearlessly beat my guy in my presence. like i said, this is a good news. let him relaxe small. |
there we go again with our hypocrisy. why is it that whenever PDP wins we attribute it to rigging. all the elections in Lagos so far has been described as credible till it produed an unfavourable outcome to AC. let Tinubu and AC accept defeat for once.@dedeike, if what u asked above is a question then the answer is that pdp as a party has proved to nigeria and nigerians that they are nothing but a symbol of rigging. a normal nigerian will tell u that another name for pdp is rigging. if you are not doing well as a party, the only way u cld continue winning elections will be rigging. if after ten (10) yrs in charge pdp has nothing tangible to show, could u please tell nigerians why they will continue winning. in anambra state, chris uba confessed to have rigged the election to chris ngige a then pdp candidate. in oyo inec machines were found in the house of another pdp thug(late adedibu), 1999, obj was rigged into power, in 2003, there was no election. in 2007, pdp made us to understand that selection is highly prefered to election. who is in charge? and who choosed him? can u for once tell me in which part of nigeria pdp proved herself worthy of winning even at grassroot level. |
up inec. inec is out to win every election. inec is desperate to make nigeria a one party system. oh, did i say inec? i wanted to say pdp though it is the same thing. |
Out of anger of hearing, seeing and witnessing these sort of things. I have no sympathy@ElRazur, who are u angry with? the dead passangers? the driver or the frsc? or are u angry with the govt of the country for not providing adquate resqcue facilities? or could it be that you are angry with those of us here who happens to be nigerians which is not by choice? @topic, may the soul of those who lost their lives in the incidents rest in peace. |
govt self. no rescue. may God help us |
It's really sad to see how the west dumps arms on Africa for use to kill ourselves. I guess the manufactures and sellers on these weapons don't care who gets killed as long as they making their profits.@ogidiboy, very backward in reasoning. production, supply and demand that is what u see. africans have decided to give up gold, diamond, crude oil and other blessed mineral reources for weapon and you want to start blaming the europeans and your so called west. if there is anything u need in your life now, i think it will be the grace for God to open ur eyes so that you can see. @topic, i don't trust nigeria. soon the aircraft will miss. and i will assure you this aircraft will never be linked to anyone. |
there is one church programme that i like attending and most times, the pastor will tell us to pray like this; those who want us dead will replace us in the grave. the late pdp idiot is one of those setting death trap for the innocent citizens of nigeria saving all the money for himself and generations unborn. will he imagine in his widest dream of this kind of death and burial? is it possible for all these top criminals to move in a car one day only for us to read about them in this manner. well, am sure God is still in his throne and will surely see us through. if he has people left in his family, they must learn to stay away from public funds. |
most of these corrupt leaders have their children or representatives here so it will be a kind of pull them back arrangements asking them what they want. please, if we can kill all the top leaders of pdp at the federal level, then kill all our former presidents including the present, we will surely have the road cleared for a more prospective nigeria. we can pay visit to most powerful men who served nigeria as ministers or personal adviser/assistance. with these few people gone, we will surely see nigeria move towards development. look at china, death penalty for corrupt leaders. if these ex-presidents were really fighting corruption, why didn't they make harsh laws against corrupt leaders and not just 3 months for tafa balogun. |
it is obvious that the only thing the nigerian govt at the moment can manage well is the sales of crude oil. for other things to function well in nigeria, private and business oriented individuals must be involved. obj tried selling everything including our ports authority, oil well, aso rock etc. it looks like everyother theories have proved abortive despite the millions of coaches in nigeria hence i am of the opinion that the super eagles be sold to co-operate bodies or individuals so that those glorious days will be back. i believe that soccer loving nigerians want nothing short of super eagles so let us sale the super eagles for better managements and results. what do u think? |
the kind of tv set u use in watching football matches surely will have much to do with your judgements. going through some of the comments here, one will be forced to ask if the match in question was the same match we all watch. well, until we shift out attentions to the right channels, nothing will happen in the development of football in nigeria. the nff have been used as a political compensation for those who worked for pdp and we are here blaming players unnecessarily. if we say any player is not doing well, where was the coach when such player completes 90 minutes on the pitch. the truth is that there is practically no commitments in the team and we must ask why. it is not just a player of two but all. where is the presidential task force? we must know that all these officies are created to give job opportunities to loyalists and thereby create a channel to steal more money. |
Mikel has been playing like a big man. You should compare the hunger he displays when playing for chelsea.@bgees, is mikel not a big man? you are the first nigerian to say that mikel play well in chelsea even when others are saying he does not know how to play generally. if u want to know how big he is, check out the refree's protection whenever anyone nears him. @topic, today we had an impoved defence and midfield but upfront, we lack bit. we are still missing yakubu and martins. |
Jesus is Lord Shocked Shocked Grinidiot, it is gud that u v finally turned urself into a fault finding machine. well continue with this new duty. ever player is not correct in his ways even for winning award, that also is a crime to ur ears. now i want to remind u that no matter how the name is spelt, the most important thing there is e and a that starts and ends the name. u are nothing but an unrepentant saddist. for ur consumption, Enyeama is the isreali player of the yr so u better start living by and with that. |
Okay people, this has gone on long enough.@Cristalz(moderator ma), now that you are here, i saw you blocking some threads and reffering their posters to the main topic in the forum. pls i stand to be corrected, i thought the idea was to reduce multiplication of a particular topic. if that is correct, why is mikel's tpoic all over this forum? why are u not doing same to mikel's topic? again, as the moderator, i thought is right from time to time, u come into some arguements and direct or possibly guide the concerned ppl on how best to go abt a topic to avoid leaving the topic of the post for different issues. thanks in anticipation of you response to this request. |
since we are all in agreement here, can ask the following, 1. which wing is mikel fighting for in our national team? 2. who is he fighting the position with? and yobo is the captain while mikel remains the no 10. can i say the war has been fought and won? taiwo in his traditional position. who said yash has changed position? |
one issue and will u die talking about my inabilities with the borrowed language called english? i am interested in ur comments bcs am well convienced that this forum is not for grammer rather for sports so u are just been a round peg in a square hole. talk the topic and forget all these side attractions. |
oga, you are in the same school of thought with platini but no sum is outragious like u mentioned here. for a club like real madrid, they can cover the money they spent on ronaldo only in the pre-season. those big players worth any amount and be informed that they are not useful only on the pitch, they are also useful inside the market. they can also attract big deal endorsements and the clubs will benefit depending on the contract terms. moreover, it is not by force that a club must buy. so if the price no reach ur club, u go go look for somewhere else. |
This was the same uncouth vagabond that was lambasting Maradona saying he is a bad example to be followed Undecided warped reasoing as usual Embarrassedidiot, call me in the next 100 yrs and i will say exactly the same thing. maradonna was not a good example becaue he was involved with drugs but the big question is, did the argentines forsake him? and the sure answer is no. that is patrotism. people rallying arround their own. only mikel drunk and drive case in london, wow nigerians and pure haters. marodonna as we all know, is not a good example but to the argentines, they were interested in the picth maradonna who once made them proud and that is an encouragement to their present and up coming players and that is what differs between nigeria and other countries. the name of the game here is greed. we are not ready to fall behind our ppl in their bad days. all we want from them are sacrifices without sacrficing anything on our own. u are a shit brother. |
pls dayo, come back. a lot of things u can do here. u can even join the comedy industry, nollywood or music which is on board now. i have seen others who stayed london many yrs only to rediscover their talents in music today, they are doing well. pls think abt it. abroad cannot favour everybody. from the way i see u, ur anointing may even be in the village under wicthcraft. so give this a second thought and look for the black goat while it is still day. i don't see u diverting ur frustrations and anger to people who have no hands in it. are u a disable person? can't u play football? i mean if u have two legs like mikel. |
i still don't want to believe obj is not among the top 5. this is a shame to all he claims. such elections without the likes of iwu at the head, will tell u what nigerians feel. i wish nigerian future elections will be conducted in this manner bypassing the iwu madness. well since obj did not qualify for this, let us find another one that will make him be among the greatest like sleeping with daughter inlaws. |
i support the idea of collecting the money even more but i don't want us to start any project with bcs we will not finish them. obj started many projects but finished non and i know there will not be any difference. MY CANDID SUGGESTION IS THIS; Mr. president sir, i am suggesting that the funds in question be shared among us nigerians so that everybody will use his or her share to solve personal problems. it is obvious that our power sector is doomed and deserve no more investments as obj did enough to give us light. we are used to darkness and as such the idea of electricity will not match with our upbringing. might u overlook my request/suggestion to continue investing in that sector, i will believe that u want to start another obj drama hence designing a way to steal legally. i have so far conclded arrangements on what to do with my share of the money and any form of disappointment in giving me the money will be abuse of right which ur govt is against in her pursuit of rule of law. i humbly and sincerely even heartedly thank you in anticipation of ur cordial and positive/urgent consideration to my request which will surely meet the minds of an average nigerian. long live federal republic of nigeria! long live chidichris!! long live musa yar adua!!! |
nigeria is supposed to be there when there is G1,000,000 how can nigeria be in G8 when our lecturers like yar adua and atiku are all criminals teaching other criminals as students. how can we be in G8 when our professors like morrise iwu are great professional criminals? broshade, bode george are all good examples of nigerian leaders but they are in our criminal lists. obj is an outstanding statesman with the highest number of criminal records and moral decadence which cld make him allow his libido to extend to his daughter inlaw. a sick country with sick leaders. men who are supposed to be living in mental rehablitation centers now in charge of the activities of the state-what a shame? forcing ourselves into G8 when we all know that benin and togo are far above us. we have to form our own organisation and give it such name as S10 meaning the small 10 because that is where we belong with the states of our roads, power supply, security and basic armenties. |
You must think so highly of yourself. Everyone knows you fellate on Camels and Mikel so why should they ask when they know already@idiotdayo, now that u are tired on condeming a national figure, can i calmly inform u that ur mother have been finally selected for the role of a holding midfielder in chelsea come new season. again, with the banning of drogba, ur father will be leading the attack line for chelsea in her cl campeigns. now that ur family is deeply involved with chelsea and u will start enjoying russian oil money that mikel has been enjoying, u can sleep with ur two eyes closed. |
why did you open another thread on him? hisses@deb, i opened a new thread on him to further show how we cannot do without him. on the other hand, to further prove the need to rename this forum mikel forum instead of sports forum. do u have anything against that? i hope with these few points of mine, i v been able to convience and not confuss u on the need to make this forum a mikel forum. if i may ask, why do u think this is the right time to ask this question on the multiplication of mikel topics here? |
You wrote 2 paragraphs and made all these spelling errors and countless grammatical errors Just ask for permission to post in your native languageidiot @dayoshit, from ur comment above, one will easily know that u are now out of words. u have nothing more to offer in relation to the topic on ground. u are not shifting the arguement to english language of which i am not ready to go there with you. i will ask you to look for language and grammer section of this nairaland if there is any but for the topic in hand, it is abt mikel been pelted with urine and ur mother been pelted with gold. if u like, pelt him with shits, the star in him will always shine but ur type(pigs) will always go back to where they belong no matter how you pelt them with gold. u are only showing ur frustrations in america. u must always remember the joy in ur family the day ur visa was confirmed and compare it with what u have been doing for ur family. instead of looking for a way of making thinbgs up for the family that invested so much for u to be there, u are here condeming a man who have brought smiles and laughter to ppl arround him. if the recession in america affect u, come back, u can still start over again. if the cold in usa has brought down ur reasoning abilities, come jos-platue state will lift u up again. mikel is not the course of ur problems so pls leave the guy alone. for me, i v never been to the usa so i can't see how i made u slave in ur promise land. |
Dr. Idiot, interesting u are asking what i do for my living. i am into voluntary works providing bananas to monkies like u. |
Bastard ! u alone would remain in ur doomed enclave,@dr.idiot, of what use is salt when the taste is gone? grammer without massage is nothing but waste. your type is everywhere. always speaking english without vission. could u pls transform ur grammer into something useful. i have said it b4, this grammer u always brag with is another man's language of which u are operating under the copy right laws as you cannot manufacture any new world in english hence u have resorted to using used ones. NFF knows she is incompetent hence she cnnot take any player to fifa. there are laid down rules and regulations guiding the act of players towards national calls. u can speak grammer without been informed on the football activities hence u are a perfect illetrate in that aspect. mikel, yobo, taiwo, martins etc are made men and have nothing to loose been on the bench in nigerian games hence i ask u to look into ur life and think a way forward. what about the bananas that i made available to u? i hope u are enjoying urself? |
