PoliticsWhat If Europe And America Make Their Countries Visa Free For Nigerians? by chidichris(op): 11:36am On Jun 08, 2009
in almost every church service, most of the testimonies are on the miracle of visas to leave nigeria. this will always recieve a great shout of appreciation and admiration.
with this, i have been thinking what will happen here if europe and america says we(nigerians) will no longer need visas to visit or live in their countries.
my mind is saying nigeria will go empty within 48hrs with all departing flights fully booked with arrievals empty.
what do u think?

btw Gabon is one of the most developed countries in Africa.
strangleyo,
u are right, very well developed that even bush and clinton always go there for medical attention.

Africa shall survive her second colonization and bondage from greedy, mediocre, and myopic leaders.
Check for the leaders we're happy to get rid of, and Waiting for rest.

@topic,
the man needs to have some gud time in the mogue to see if he can wake up to continue his leadership.
he must not die rather live to remain president of gabon.

PoliticsRe: Eze Ndigbo Title: Ohazulike Appeals For Calm by chidichris(m): 8:35am On Jun 08, 2009
Ndigbo, ekenem unu!
For better or worse, Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart has been adopted the World over as not only an authentic historical representation of pre-colonial Igboland, but pre-colonial Subsaharan Africa in general.
Anybody who has ever read that book will agree that not only Igbo ama eze, but Igbo ewe eze too.

Igbos are partly Roman in character; where the best and strongest proves himself, is respected by fellow men, and loved by womenfolks.
Then there's a council of elders, and those who interpret divinity.

So the head of a traditional Igbo society is scattered and not centralized. The British recognized this as one of their worse dilemas, because they had no single individual who could control all the others.

Also, I don't understand the need for eze ndigbo in diaspora! What diaspora Huh Since when does living in Lagos constitute living in diaspora?

If we must have eze ndigbo, then I like to see eze indigbo in medicine, engineering, accounting, law, military science, mathematics, astronomy, literature, etc.
@naijaking1,
u have just said it. i know it and i am happy u know it too.

Dubai is not making you brighter!! You have a village mentality. Do you even re-read your posts before branding another's a childish story? Your's is not even fit for Nursery schools.

Not that i support Ezendigbo or whatever they call themselves, I hate it when riff raffs like you come online and spew rubbish on issues they have no clue about coupled with your constant childish "jealousy" and envy of Enugu/Anambra people that are doing better than you in life.

How dare you correct someone's Igbo name when you can not even write "Igbo" properly? You are simply daft like Asha80 said.
@romeo,
most times we flow with the river just to be part of the crowd.
i have made the following points;

1. the ibos at home are not known with kings and as such those in lagos, dubai, america or japan will not be known with kings.
2. with my little knowledge of kingship in igboland, it is heriditary and not by election hence ohazulike could have been elected for anyother thing apart from ezendigbo
3. i took my time to find out that ezendigbo where ever u see one is either from enugu or anambra and i stand to be corrected here. just refer me to any ezendigbo anywhere who is not from the two states and i will surely withdraw my comments. i have practically nothing against them been progressives so face the subject of discussion.
4. lagos govt has banned ezendigbo and i support that hence whosoever is not comfortable with that shld continue with the court proceedings.
5. royality runs in blood and character must be a guide as traditional rulers must be costudians of culture and customs of the people.
6. i have never been a crowd man and i will not be one here. i have knowledge of the ibos and their tradition hence i can always say them loud no matter where.
7. when a finger touches oil, there is always the possibility of the oil spreading to the other fingers. the key word here is the ibos in lagos but if we diggest it very well, we will at the end narrow it down to someone.

call me daft or what ever, my msg is clear and on that note, i wish u a better understanding and the ability to stand on ur legs and never remain an AGIP I MEAN ANY GOVT IN POWER OR ALWAYS MOVING WITH THE CROWD.

SportsRe: Dearth Of No 9 Striker In Super Eagles by chidichris(m): 8:02am On Jun 08, 2009
martins and yakubu are all good but the problem is that our present eagles have no committments to the team.
if we talk about No 9, in which area of the team is ok? for me, we have only the goalkeeper as the only commited player in our present eagle.
SportsRe: Why Is Super Eagle Playing In Abuja? by chidichris(m): 7:53am On Jun 08, 2009
@poster,
all these other cities cannot provide enough security for the players and their coaches might anything go wrong.
lagos is the worst place u can think of when it comes to the eagles playing as they are very emotional about the game that anything short of winning is not part of their bargain.
on the other hand, man u can play madrid without our players so they shld learn to come with their own spectetors.
abuja stadium yesterday was full to the brim.
SportsRe: SA 2010 WCQ: Nigeria(3) Vs Kenya(0) On Sunday 7th June by chidichris(m): 7:46am On Jun 08, 2009
Chidichris,

This your Mikel,
What is his position of play in Eagle?
What has been his Performance?
Was he not in the strugling team all this while?
Give a good coach this job, and he raise legs that are hungry for success.
As for Mikel, he is presently nothing but one of the otondos.
I should send you an invitation when messi will be corronated in December.
Remember, Mikel that was born with him in Holland 2005 is still in the pool of struggles.
Not only Mikel, so many of the useless boys must go with their Coach for Siasia to raise us a presentable Team.
Olaolufred,
i only commented areas where eagles did not live up to it in yesterday's match but if u say mikel was born the same day with messi, i want to assume u were not born rather u were vommitted hence u cannot play.

Chidi, you are right about Amodu but 3-0 is not bad after all compared with 3-1 I predicted here today a few minutes before the commencement of the game. Up Eagles!
@M-Workers,
the 3 points was our main target yesterday but u will agree with me that the kenyans were brought down to their kneels when the penalty decission was given against them. we saw the kenyans face to face with our nets open at least for two times. i am one of those nigerians that will be sad if we fail to be in sa 2010 and i doubt how many teams that will loose those chances the kenyans had yesterday. nigerians played below par but we are overlooking that because we got the 3 points.
it is up to amodu to drop yobo, taiwo and mikel in our next match but these same group of supporters here will call for his head if anything goes wrong in our sa2010 trip.

@all,
if amodu will drop everybody and get the ticket for us, i have nothing against that but he has to start looking for players for the real world cup finals.
SportsRe: SA 2010 WCQ: Nigeria(3) Vs Kenya(0) On Sunday 7th June by chidichris(m): 11:17pm On Jun 07, 2009
I insist Nigeria is better off without those overrated EPl players like

Yobo, Mikel, Martins and Aiyegbeni

Osaze, Ike Uche, Adeleye, Uche kalu have shown it that the Nigerians in EPL are not the best we have
@dayokanu,
anyone who reads this will know u did not watch the game. kenya had our net open on more than two different occasions when we were just a goal up. anyother team apart from kenya will score those times.

again, if the same ref that officiated chelsea/barca match was at the centre of the game today, nigeria wld have done nothing.

pls contact those that watched today's match and they will tell u that the eagles were not flying until the made in epl - king kalu came in. again, if anyone who watched today's match tells u that the team was good enough to face benin, he must be a comedian.

unfortunately, espn was not showing the game otherwise i wld have asked u which player among the midfielders is worthy to take mikel's place.

kalu uche, a player that i appreciate so much was the worst player on the pitch today as he made 101 mistakes out of his 100 passes.

nigeria needs a martin, yakubu or even anichebe as our no 9.

a mikel was missing in our line up of today so no matter how u hate him, he must be in south africa so u have to learn to live by that and there was no yobo, nedum onuoha or shittu in our defence.

all in all, i love ike uche, and nigerians at this point have one need and that is qualification but if we make any mistake of going to south africa with these crop of players, not showing up there will be a blessing for us.

on the other hand, amodu shoibu must not be in our supporters club talkless of the coaching crew as he represents nothing close to sports talkless of football. i can assure nigerians that i will definitely do better than him.
PoliticsRe: Eze Ndigbo Title: Ohazulike Appeals For Calm by chidichris(m): 10:54pm On Jun 07, 2009
CHIDICHRIS
i will answer your question one after the other:
(1) The choice to choose ohazulike was by election by OHANEZE NDIGBO IN LAGOS.
(2)His palce is located at 102 igwe ohazulike road ojokoro development area fagba agege lagos.
(3)The throne will be shifted coz its by election by ohaneze ndigbo in lagos.
(4)Now,is it the IBOS that are not interested in him or the IGBOS and mention their names and addresses.
Now go to your root and ask them the meaning and difference between OHAZULIKE and OHAZURIKE.
Also am very sorry you are not conversant with the peoples'(IGBO)culture as it (EZE NDIGBO OUTSIDE IGBO LAND) has been existing for 11yrs registered in the constitution of the FED. REP. NIG. UNDER CAC ACTS.and am very happy you are coming back home to learn more about your peopls' culture and you know,you cannot know what u don't know until you ask.
MY DEAR AV ANSWERED ALL YOUR MEANINGFUL QUESTIONS AND THE REMAINING ANSWERS LIES IN YOU (YOUR ROOT).
@ohayulike,
as an igbo man, in ur area, was ur traditional ruler elected or did he inherit that?
the issue of ezendigbo has been bastardised as any rich ibo man is either the igwe ndigbo of america or ezendigbo of hong kong.
what is the relevance of royal families in the igbo land?
is ur ohazulike from a royal family?
does the igbo culture u preach here for sale?
can someone buy royalty in iboland?
if there was any election, who were the voters?
who were the electorial college? remember, kings are crowned by kings and if things were done in the normal ways, igbo traditional rulers crowned ur ohazulike and the same traditional rulers asked lagos govt to disragard him.
be informed, any elected position has tenure while inherited positions are for life, so how long is his tenure?
by the ways, can u make available, the constitution of the ibos in lagos that empowered ohazulike as the ezendigbo of lagos.
be frank to urself, u are from the same state with this man.

Despite the fact that i am from imo state you must be daft to ask whether ohazulike is an igbo name.
@asha 80,
u called me daft?
an ezendigbo must be a person ready to bring the ibos together culture and language wise. a certain igbo language is termed as central igbo. any man far from this central igbo has nothing good to offer when it comes to the coming together of the ibos as such forum must be one sided.
i have said it and i will it again, no matter how daft i am, the ibos had no king, the have none and we will see if they will have one.
from this name that is not generally accepted in the central igbo language, i will say it here that he stands disqualified. for him to rule the ibos, he must first of all centralize his name to that generally acceptable name in the central igbo language hence he will be known and addressed as ohazurike.
if he must continue with ohazulike, then he is representing a set of ppl of which he can only be their king.
ezendigbo is a cultural thing and must be followed in the same way.

NOTE: words like ohazulike is suposed to be ohazurike, oruchi - oluchi etc we can see that it has been transfered to english language which is foriegn and we now have bressing instead of blessing, we have ladio instead of radio, roads and loads have been used without differentiations. how long are going to continue like this?

PoliticsRe: Eze Ndigbo Title: Ohazulike Appeals For Calm by chidichris(m): 10:10am On Jun 07, 2009
First ezendigbo is diff. from ezeigbo(ojukwu is ezeigbo while the eze outside igbo land is ezendigbo) FORGET MY NAME AND READ THIS:
10YRS ago this ohazulike was on is own when the people of igbo in lagos came and said they want him to be their king he then told them to go and look for someone else they went and came back and said no one wants to be the eze so he took it,its not just igbos that knows about this the late OBA OYANKAN knows about it and he approved it and blessed it he also visited the oni of ife and nobody stood up to him not even the Lagos state government.Every October this ohazulike does his NEWYAM FESTIVAL and POVERTY ALLEVIATION which is not meant for the igbos alone,both Yorubas and Hausas are benefiting from it and no one said anything.This man does not belong to any political party but Buhari,Pat Utomi,Obanikoro and even Tinibu came to this man during the election period i think they came because they know that he is the ezendigbo in lagos if not why come to him? now they are in government and they want to take what he has work for all these years from him just because PDP (obj) gave him a national award (OON) they think he is a PDP man but the his son campaigned under AC for sate house of Assembly and here in Lagos he sponsored an AC man for chairmanship and now federal house of rep(adefolabi adeola).and for the igbos that are against it they just want to have the title becoz its now famous.
now get your facts right before you start talking
@ohazulike,
u have succeeded in telling a childish story that suits the primary school old days. with money, u can organise a ceremony that will attract bush, clinton and even obama. with the names u mentioned in ur childish story, they can gather and reverse the lagos state govt's decission. in politics, u can visit anybody u consider useful for ur interests.
if the ibos gathered to choose ur ohazulike, was it by election or what? what is the name u give to this process that saw him in as the ezendigbo? where is his palace? will his children inherit this title after his death or will this palace be shifted after his death? is it possible for u to go and inform ur ohazulike that the ibos are nolonger interested in him again?
come to the think of it, is there any ibo word like ohazulike? the answer is no as the correct ibo word shld be ohazurike.
if he is a type that helps others, thank God for his life but he is not qualified in any manner to make himself the ezendigbo in lagos as i and many others are not even aware of his existance till this time of banning.
like i said somewhere, other govs must borrow a leave from the lagos state govt and start banning other self acclaimed ezes both in nigeria and outside.
a semi lunatic in dubai goes about calling himself ezendigbo in dubai and i know all over the world, anambra/enugu ppl share this same madness as they think they are born to rule.
if we want to have any eze ndigbo anywhere, we must first of all define who the ibos are and seperate that from anambra/enugu ppl before we will know the ohazulikes.

@ofurufu,
have u for once started any topic in ur whole life where u report good news abt ppl or are u a specialist on negative news?
if i may ask, are u a disable person? why are u not playing football at least to represent nigeria when mikel is not available? in what area(s) of life are u representing nigeria? maybe in criminal activities?
who in ur whole family in doing well in any field to represent nigeria in anything gud?

@topic,
another slowpoke here is pitying mikel bcs he has access to internet. mikel is in a good position to take care of ur lineage even the unborn. mikel has done so well so far in representing nigeria and nigerians in something that is far from crime so what have u done for nigeria and nigerians? if ur parents are well informed, and they have the opportunity to choose between u and mikel, do u think they will choose u?
let us not allow envy and jealous overtake our lives that we will always come out to confess negatives.

that mikel did not show up in any competition will open up a door for another player who may turn out to be greater tomorrow. the coaches are there to bring up talents and the talents are there so what is the mdness and cries over mikel's absence?

@rockhaven,
if this is what u were able to make out of this topic, i have my doubt on which part of ur body u use in reasoning.

in a situation like this, u are making obj a saint even with the report suggesting that obj pressurized ribadu to remove yar adua's name from corruption list just to use him for his personal interests and purposes.

why and how is obj ur hero and a role model in this matter? is it now a legally acceptable way of electing ppl into power i mean the way obj brought in yar adua? did this situation go down well with the long lasting accusation that ribadu was used as a tool by obj just to bring down oponents and have his ways on sensitive matters? what is normal about obj's role in line with what el rufai just mentioned in his confession? when are we going to start leaning how and when to call a spade a spade?

at least those of us that have been against ribadu and obj combination in the last regime will be happy to hear and read what el rufai have to say while ribadu attend different international conferences in his claims as the only nigerian standing. it is in the interest of nigeria and nigerians that ribadu and el rufai come back to nigeria and make the long expected confession.

Yar'adua was chosen directly by OBJ.

I think the good thing about El-Rufai's reveletions is that, if their is anyone still living under the illusion that Yar'adua is an honest man
These reveletions put a serious dent on it.

the point i noted here is ribadu's compromising stance against his claims.

if there are english words like controversial statements, controversial decissions, match fixing etc related to football then platini has some explainations to make.
if uefa can sneak a referee out of a country, then the officiating has a question mark. in football, we have had situations where refrees come back to either appologies to the victimised teams or confess foul play.
what will u say if the refree for the finals go to the press and tell them that he likes man u so and that he likes their way of playing?
for the fact that u are occupying such a sensitive position, you do not allow your sentiments to overtake ur sense of reasoning.
as a leader, u do not allow the people u lead to have doubts about ur abilities.
who was the last uefa president? and did people complain about his position in the same manner.
if platini continues this way, he will not last in that position.

This is not only blasphemous, it is highly unbiblical. How can you say mere mortals are representing GOD. Better think again, most of them are not doing God's work they are only serving themselves if they were they would be spending most of the churches income on taking care of the poor as was directed in the bible and practised by the apostles
KUNLE,
it is not a good thing for one to claim of knowing it all in his bid to disqualify men of God. the big question here is; are there real men of God? if the answer is yes, who are they?
reading the bible from chapter one to the last verse is not it all but always ask the spirit of God to guide and interprete the bible to you whenever you read.
it is biblical that while Jesus was leaving, he gave out powers to his disciples, and he said, whatsoever u bind here on earth will be binded in heaven, whosever you forgive will be forgiven and whatsoever you lose here on earth will be loosed in heaven.
in the bible also, a man of God healed a sick man who came back with thanksgiven but he rejected the thanksgiven which his servan went behind him and took lying that the man of God had sent him. the man of God coursed him with that same sickness he healed the other man.
we must learn how condem men of God because it is written that no weapon fashioned against the children of God will prospare and every tongue that is raised against the children of God must be condemed.
since you have read all the bible, i would want to remind you of the content of Luke 18: 9 - 14.
remember, man's wisdom is like foolishness unto God.

1. make harsh laws like death sentence or life imprisonment for corrupt leaders
2. implement the harsh laws on corrupt leaders
3. punish offenders of these harsh laws

and nigeria will move fast fast.
