@tosh_acer, is the allegation of owing multiple id true? @topic, since u insisted that ur thread must be discussed, govt is a group of people selected or elected to see over the affairs of others. further definition will make u understand that this group have the power to make laws, interprete them and punish the law breakers. if u believe there is any govt in nigeria, u can as well find out if these duties of making laws that will guide the actions of other citizens are in place. if they are in place, who and who are informed on these laws and how many offenders have really been punished according to the dictates of the laws. what do u expect when the one who is supposed to be ur protector becomes the real threat? how many interviews of our so called leaders have u listened to and hear them say they are not the problem. yar adua even confirmed that the elites of the country are the real problem. halliburton, power probe, contract probes, election riggings, kidnaps and other societal crimes have been linked to the leadership cadre who have assumed the position of sponsors. are there countries without crimes but the ability of the govt to trace and punish law breakers makes the differences. i called this thread empty and boring because u can find this same thread in up to 3 different places here. |
Halliburton: Why We Can’t Disclose Suspects Now, Says Presidency justice delayed is justice denied. yar adua must have come in touch with names of the untouchables. |
very boring and empty thread |
most professors are partial mad men and they lie a lot. they don't believe what others believe. a good example of a professor is prof. iwu who lied and decieved all nigerians in april 2007. |
He's visiting Ghana because of AFRICOM, the American administration wants to establish an army base in west Africa; rightly so Nigeria is strongly against it. If the Nigerian government were pushovers and were happy for the U.S.A. to establish a military base in Nigeria where do you think Obama would be visiting first? But obviously, Ghana is an easier proposition, so all Obama is doing is continuing George Dubyas's policies in Africa. The bottom line is the U.S, and the Euro Zone are concerned that China is becoming too dominant in Africa and this makes them uneasy because as far as they are concerned Africa is nothing more than a cheap source of raw materials - nothing more.nolongting, i am begining to think that companies like macheline are equally leaving nigeria for ghana for the above reasons. i also want to believe that many nigerians prefer ghana to nigeria today based on ur reasons above. no wonder many of us are fighting to get admission into ghanian universities and nigerian business men and women and struggling to relocate to ghana. any arguement about the situation in ghana today will be a blind one. things are really changing. there is a kind of about turn here which has made ppl in front to be at the back. another point that is not worth arguing about is that america is a progressive country and based on that, they like progressives too. ghana is on the right lane and embrassing the right ppl will always make u live like them. nigeria is embrassing sao tome and that will be the kind of ppl who will not question our actions.the much talked against aperthied in south africa is the product of south africa's position as the no 1 in africa till date. if there is an american military base in nigeria, u will accept with me that there will not be same without electricity with which most of their gadgets work. if i have my way, i wld want to know from u, what have we achieved as a ppl since we do not have american military base in nigeria? it is a simple truth that nigeria as a cuntry is using the reverse gear instead of moving forward we have choosen to go backward. ghana is overtaken nigeria so the international communities would like to associate with them. if time is not taken, nigerians will soon be paying through their ass to get ghana visa. |
obj in 1999 used almost all his first tenure travelling arround the world visiting nigerians even the nigerian communities inside various jails. were u not aware of obj's efforts in bringing back all nigerian in long term jails abroad who he insisted must be deported to finish their jail terms in nigeria. it is important u have information well enough before u post any topic here. |
if obj an urgly man steals, i always understand and i am ready to bear with him but how can this handsome man be a criminal? i am disappointed. |
leadership which has been the major problem of nigeria has never been tribalistic. pdp the leading criminal party in nigeria, has a balanced tribalistic arrangements that fronts the likes of professor borrishade of yoruba tribe. eng. dr. chief olusegun obasanjo, bode george, fani kayode, mrs etteh, iyabo obj are all representing the yorubas in the stealing spree, while u have the likes of atiku, ribadu, el rufai, yar adua, ibb and andy/chris uba, prof iwu, maduekwe etc all representing the hausas and ibos respectively in the industry. in fact, i see this thread as one by someone somewhere seeking notice as it lacks everything that a thread deserves. in every state, there is alway war between communities from time to time so that an ibo man fight with hausa man from time to time is normal as we are not angels. back up your thread with relevant points. |
nigeria does not worth obama's visit at all. we are talking about a democratically elected president visiting another democratically elected president in africa. yar adua shld be looking towards a visit from the cuban president, venezuelan president and that of zimbabwan president. can pope visit a thief for catholic discussions? the anwer is no. yar adua and obama have nothing in common. |
@poster, for a better understanding, what do u see as some of the problems of nigeria and how do they relate to tribalism? by the way, what is tribalism? the major problem nigeria has today is power supply and if u want me to be on ur side, i wld love to know how tribalism has contributed to lack of power supply in nigeria. security, bad roads, corruption etc have no links with tribalism so how do u want to make hills out of valleys? the latest scam in the house like everyother scam in nigeria will always have representatives from all the major tribes in nigeria. it has never been an all ibo, yoruba or hausa thing whenever there is a crime in nigeria. whenever there is a govt, it is always based on quota system. today, we yar adua, jonathan, david mark, bankole and so on and so forth. i will even like to see a more tribalistic nigeria where yar adua in his four years will concentrate on building the hausa side of nigeria, a yoruba man in his on four years will do great things in yoruba land and thereby challange an ibo president to do more wonderful things to his own land. tribalism must be in existance positively to make tribes watch over others. it is important that we appreciate other tribes and appreciate their importance. it is rather unfortunate that u never mentioned specifically, areas where u have seen tribalism in display on our national issues. |
Just to help fellow Nigerian christians see realities, like is said before, you have to be vast ,wise, smart and even be a bit of a criminal for you to see through these con men, in other words, i am sprerading the gospel in my own way.banom, from the few things i v read on ur posts, u want us to believe that all the so called pators are scammers? then who is not? if you are a christain as you claim, where do u worship? who is ur pastor? is he also a scammer? are there pastors in nigeria that u know not to be scammers? remember: 1. do not judge so that ye shall not be judged 2. touch not my annointed and do my prophets no harm 3. those tongues that shall rise against my children in judgement shall be condemmed how do u differentiate ur position on these pastors from the pharisees in the Bible who are always on hand to condem the works of Jesus Christ? is poverty the basic character of a real christain? if the Bible permits offerings and tithe, what do u expect to be the outcome of such great congregations? is wealth a bad thing? knock it shall be open, ask and you shall recieve, with God nothing is impossible. brother, this is and shld not be a sort of arguement rather my candid advice to u. it is writen, man cannot be defiled by what goes into the mouth rather by what comes out of the mouth. i will suggest that u let them wait for the judgement of God because there are provissions in the bible for those who liar with the name of God. |
this is one of the best decission i have seen in football. it is a well deserved award. |
p d and pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp , power to the criminals |
is possible that there is an agreement that nigeria must not move forward so let them give the money to countries that are moving forward. remember, nigeria sometime ago gave loan to united arab emirates and today dubai and other states in that country is the dream of every nigerian. today all our politicians are investing their funds in dubai. if there is any country in the world today that requires help, it is nigeria. a country in darkness shld be praying for other countries to help her out of darkness. there is absolutely no accurate record of ppl dying in nigeria because i know 80% of our rural areas are out of the govt's rada hence no record. this pdp lead govt is just out to give eye services to the international world. maybe, this is part of the rebranding excercise. |
at least, am one of the first group of ppl who first noticed that ribadu was nothing but a well designed tool used by his holiness, saint obj to make himself the most high. if we are not here to decieve ourselves, we will accept the fact that every regime or administration in nigeria had its own claimed corruption fighting agency. during the 1983 military coup, the then civilians govs were all arrested on corruption charges and were all detained. at the end of the day, the result of their actions will always say how good or bad they are. if ribadu was not corrupt himself, how can he only probe abacha among all the ex-presidents in nigeria? if ribadu was not corrupt, what will he tell nigerians about fani kayode, bode george, borrishade etc who all served during his time but are today facing trials? why would a corruption fighting czar as he is called make withdrawal of electionary ambition an option to facing efcc? he made nigerians to know that the money laundary case confirmed in the usa against andy uba was a civil case, is that not deciet at the highest order? if there is anything nigeria and nigerians expect from ribadu today, it is a confession and appology. |
if there is anything unconstitutional here, it is the act of claiming eze ndigbo. some of the igwes and ezes in lagos are wanted men for one crime or the other in our various villages but they will end up making money and taking the title of eze. charity begins at home and not in lagos or america. we must know who u are and what you do before u go ahead with ur claims. for now, we do not recognise any eze outside our home towns. the ezes are illegal and the ban remains valid. |
the two possible situations where dogs give birth to goats are in movies and dreams. like father, like son. obj's claims of not having ideas of any electorial reforms will go a long way to proof his truthfulness as a man. the chairman bot of a ruling party making such claims shows how committed he is in the affairs of his daughter in-law rather than nigeria. to me, the first real reform we expect from yar adua will be to renounce that selection that brought him on board. pdp has no agenda for nigeria and that is just it. |
@poster, please don't kils anybody. but if u must kils, kils those that are the causes of all these problems. with this little work of urs, u have won my best comedian of the year 2009. |
it is not abt yar adua, it is abt pdp and their power madness as having their choosen chairman as one of easiest ways to retain power. ekiti re-run was an evidence. |
the way i look at it is this, tinubu did not do much but he brought this man(fashola) on board. obj did all he could to frustrate tinubu's administration by not releasing lagos state allocations to them but yar adua did well in releasing all to fashola mean fashola has double allocation that has put him on a better plat form for all the thing he is doing in lagos. fashola is doing better because of the financial situation in lagos but i respect tinubu for not loosing lagos state to obj and his criminalities. |
vanity upon vanity is vanity. all those who pointed accusing fingers t obj have been or will soon be made criminals. it is not about individuals here rather is about the system. it is worthy to note here that pdp as a party have come to steal, kill and destroy. in yesterday's paper yar adua said the national assemblies have performed below average. my question is in what? if it is in law making, i agree but if it is in the cultural game of stealing, i refuse to agree here. if u look closely on the formation of pdp and the idea of releasing obj to be the president, u will definitely know that the party revolves within the criminal minded ppl of nigeria. the idea of getting this man and his group involved will be just to discharge those he accused. it has been trade by bater. elumelu must denounce his position on power probe to get his freedom and the story continues. In reality it is most Nigerians that love being taking for a ride, when the idiot last year was busy brandishing falsehood and distorted truths to us in the name of power probe most of you were busy applauding him and too naive to see the obvious fallacies in his spurious claims all becos OBJ was involved and most of you like to believe any thing negative written about this National hero. Now chicken as come home to roost and foul yansh don open. I thank God that the truth is coming out fast and OBJ has finally been vindicated.@kunle, u are sick. obj vindicated? they are all of a kind. tell me who this man imitated now in his hiding for a while before coming out. iyabo played the same hide and seek. do u think anything will happen to elumelu? no way, we have piles of files of criminals who stole in dollars so elumelu's situation is designed to divert our attention. where is halliburton probe? tell me in eight years of obj, how many federal criminals were arrested? that went a long way to tell u that obj was part of all those fruadulent contracts. under two yrs, more than 20 federal criminals have been arrested and questioned. soon iwu will be probed. obj supported criminal activities under his regime and that we are seeing today. pdp have decided to ruin this nation and it is only God that can save us from these beasts. |
the truth of the matter is that this issue is not about lagos and the ibos rather the ibos and the ibos. who is eze ndigbo in lagos? what does he do? what are the grounds for making him eze ndigbo in lagos? what is his background and credentials? if the ibos have no centrally recognized eze back home why having one outside home? the man in question might be a chairman of one of the community unions of any ibo clan here in lagos but maybe excess containers hav forced him to go beyond his town union chairman. many ibos like me have no recognition for anyone here in lagos as eze talkless of eze ndigbo. other states and places must learn from lagos state and officially stop recognising those self made ezes who are bringing the ibo cultures down. very soon, some of our ibo men will start contexting to be the oba of lagos and emir of oyo state. why won't these men divert these energies into politics and become the president of nigeria? i know back home, imo state(my state) does not have a central eze so no one outside imo can make me recognise him as eze ndi imo in lagos or america. |
This should help you get a clearer picture@poster, how do u reconcile the topic of this thread with the post on quote above? are these names u mentioned here below part of the crap or have u seperated the chaff from the grain? how many players in the france national team are french men? if you have the opportunity to select eleven players from everywhere in the world to play against brazil, won't u win? a country like holland that have produced a lot of football big names but are not fruitful in their national side, shld be called scrab , abi? i have said it and i will continue saying it, the lizard from his position is always trying to sit down but due to long tail, he can't. if your location is real, u are soccer handicapped. always search ur internet for information but i tell u, i see it will reamain better than i read it. tell me in which areas of football u find the english team wanting from their defence to their attack. rooney is a good player. fergie prefers him as a supporting striker or a wide player. nesteroy was doing the finishing job while his exist introduced saha, saha could not do the work hence the continued search for a replacement in berbitov and tevez. rooney has excess energy so playing him as 9 is always a wastes of human resources. remember every country has a league and england is comfortably playing 11 players in almost all their matches who are product of their local league. hate them or like them, no history of football without england. |
Gloryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Cheesymukina2, if ashley cole can leave arsenal, if henry can leave arsenal, if mourinho can leave chelsea and if ronaldinho and rijkard can leave barcelona then who am i? the truth of the matter is that i am chelsea but not chelsea for life. if u watch out, you will check it out, u will see that if clubs like man city start doing well tomorrow, their fan base will increase while the fan base of man u will start depreciating if they stop doing well. what do i stand to gain? nothing but happiness so of what use is salt when the thaste is gone. no happiness no need to be a fan. i quit arsenal when i noticed that they man is only interested in pleasing the club owners by increasing the weight of their bnk accounts without any interest on the fans. daily heart break was becoming unbearable. might chelsea begin same, i will look else where. |
i was an arsenal fan when they were winning with kanu in the team. naturally, most of us gain nothing but rejoicing when a goal is scored in our favour or when we win a match. i changed to chelsea when mourinho was becoming too relevant to be ignored and to make things well, a player i respect a lot(mikel) was signed by chelsea. i am so much attached to the club now that i cld not sleep over the officiating madness of that norwegian slowpoke. i am now praying that God will give me the grace to reduce to the barest minimum what i have for chelsea now to avoid heart attack. |
I don't even know what you guys are talking about. Malouda was choked in the box and brought down. He blew the whistle. It's either one of two things. Blow against Malouda for simulation or for Malouda for penalty. But noo he gave him the foul outside the box. The Pundit on tv analysed it and showed the ref's 4 faults and you here and saying something different because of bias.ozzyb, i know u are talking soccer but that thing (dayokanu) claims to live in the usa hence he talks american football which are two different ball games. please let there be peace. for soccer fans, let us wait and see when next that particular refree will be at the centre of any pitch to officiate a match. while the game was on, i wrote it in one of the threads here that that was a consipiracy becaue i know platini for once never liked chelsea and english football. even barca fans including pique himself later accepted the penalty when he delibrately handled the ball inside the box. what is the difference between the penalty given to juventus against chelsea and the last minute foul on etoo on wednesday? platini has seriously brought in questions to the game of football. |
may their souls rest in perfect peace - amen |
Can this ignorant keep quiet for a minute? Only ESPN shows football? How ignorant can one be.@dayokanu, i don't know u are this hot tempered. i appreciate your copy and paste information as i give all glories in this regards to internet. no matter how u look at it, u are soccer handicapped. the big question which u decided to shy away from and choose to reply insults is, which league is the best? uefa said john terry a epl product was the best defender last season in europe, do u think otherwise, in the award given to lampard, ronaldo, cech and man u as a team, do u think otherwise. as it stands, man u is the current best club in the world, do u object that? this current year, all the english teams were unbeatable in europe and u still want me to preach more. what are the bases for rating a league high? in reality, i thought u do not watch football because american we all know are basketball crazy. they even prefer american football to our soccer. what if i say american female soccer team is stronger than their male soccer team, will i be wrong? do u know a player called lassana diara? if yes, tell me his story. do u know fernado torres? where is he? and where was he? there has been movement in football especially between the 3 power houses viz; italy, spain and england. this movement is mostly a function of funds. football like everyother business flourishes the more you invest more money. we can accept the turn arround in the epl with the involvement of chelsea billionaire and the intervention of the american billionaires in man u, the american dons in liverpool and recent involvement of the abu dhabi group in man city. as we speak, epl is on fire and will remain on fire till the other group come out with a different strategy. no matter ho bitter it sounds, there is absolutely nothing u can do abt that. football has to do with quality and quality most times are functions of money. in these other leagues, we have giants and smaller clubs. whatever statue a club occupies in the league most times depends on the ability of the club to invest funds in the transfer market. |
last time here, it was obj and now, it is yar adua the best president. pls let there be a two party systems here so everybody come file up behind who their hero is. yar adua vs obj. goodluck. |
nuzo, if u are still contemplating, am afraid u still have a long way to go. i am here to help u out. if there is anything u need to do now, it is" give up" u have been in china, better remain there. do u have a wife of children inside nigeria? if yes, then plan to bring them out. if u go to all the churches here in nigeria, 90% of the testimonies are as follows; visa at last, after been in the school of waiting, God has finally answered my prayers with a five yrs visa to usa, two yrs students visa, 3 yrs visa to the uk. everyone rejoices over an opportunity to go into slavary abroad rather than remain in the type of freedom we have at home. it is important that as many a possible that can denounce nigeria and give up here will be prefered as that will give us chance to know who has been sitting on our progress. some of us are jonah and we know when jonah enters a boat, movement is always obstructed. |
You wrote in a very dumb language instead.romeo, thanks. i notice the igbos like to talk crap about other tribes, the same tribes that will welcome them to their states.@jona, u are beast. if i know ur tribe, i will address u proparely. the fact that the ibos are discussing their issue here does not give u a ground to be stupid. the ibos are naturally industrious and have contributed immensly to the development of everyother part of nigeria. if america is great today, it does not mean that they can do without others. @topic, igbos by history has no centralized system of govt both home and away. if anyone here in lagos is going to court against lagos state, the one must not go under the tag of ibo rather he/she must be specific of whose interest he is representing. for me, i do not know of any eze ndigbo in lagos. there can be eze ndi nnewi, owerri, orlu, obowo etc and not eze ndigbo as that is the culture where we come from. |
if wenger is given the position of Drs. Mrs. Dora akunyili as information minister, i am sure he will do very well especially in the area of rebranding nigeria because he knows how to address matters. |
