zigi88: Hello... would like to pick your brain. A friend of mine went to the embassy on Tuesday and was asked to fill the form so someone will submit it for her on thursday cos she came late. She got a call frm the embassy this morning saying they still working on August application. The thing is .... she needs her passport so she can travel for her bros convocation in malaysia which takes place 1st week in dec. The problem is she tried explaining this to the woman but the line cut off because of network. Do you think she should wait for the lady at the embassy to call back?
Is it advisable to retrieve ones passport and submit it back?
Do you have an idea on the process of retrieving ones passport ?

PlayPays: Exact thing that happened to my friend, the next day cdch call woke her. She was told to come pick her package (trv) so don't be scared nothing do ur friend he must have gone there late.

I'm suspecting this ur friend is yourself!

newacca: Banks don't give out acct balance to embassy;and no embassy will ask for such. The bank forward copy of the printed SOA you submitted to the embassy if they wanna verify ur (submitted) SOA. They may want to verify the balance if it tallies with bal. on d SOA u submitted(and they do that through the faxed copy directly from your bank,and the bank will req.ur permission b4 doing this) Ur bank/sponsor's banker will confirm frm u/ur sponsor as d case maybe.
No Bank will every give out your bal. even to your wife or father! Roger that.
