Politics › Re: FG Threatens To Open Border For Cement Importation by chidiokay: 6:16pm On Feb 20, 2024
TruthsFM:
How will price of dollar not increased when we keep on importing things to Nigeria 🇳🇬
Nigeria is not the only country "importing", benine republic import far more than Nigeria yet there economy is not in comatose

Us is the largest Net Importer of finsihed goods,

Importing is a problem but how we spend dollar within our economy is even the bigger problem, Nigerians now prefer to save there money in dollars in a Naira economy.

level of confident in a currency is what kills it or strengthens it
Politics › Re: FG Threatens To Open Border For Cement Importation by chidiokay: 6:06pm On Feb 20, 2024
shortgun:
Cement, Rice, beans,poultry, fish.
All will be cheaper when imported even at the current exchange rate.
Some of these commodities are smuggled in from the neighbouring countries, labeled made in Nigeria and sold at exorbitant prices.
A smart Government will open up our borders
I still don't know why the govt is hesitant and relunctant to open land borders, what is left to lose

Policies are meant to be Review, when our land borders were open, was the cost of living & naira value these bad and ever since we decided to ply on reinstating local production what have Nigerians gain .. its being one bad news to the others cos aside high cost of production Nigeria are generally selfish.

You made ZERO SENSE as usual. At no point on Nairaland do I talk with more men than women. If that were the case, I wouldn't earn the FEMINIST and MAN HATING tag. This is common sense and knowledge, but I don't expect you to say this. You would call A, B, all to disagree with me.

Other men HERE are saying the same thing I said, except you who reasons backward. No thanks to low mental bandwidth, garnished with bile.

Please open my nyash. I gave you hours of my time yesterday to do that and all I got was a picture of the igneous pancake and fearless you were gulping down, less than a year after voting Tinubu.

Shall we today? Please be my guest. Your stupidi__ won't slide this period.

Your time starts now...🎤
You earned your "Feminist and men hating" tags from how people see you talk to men here ... using today alone, how many female have you intiated a conversation with,

yesterday when our conversation was ongoing, you tagged one nairalander .. happens to be a male

I for like stay finish you patapata buh na my turn to pick beans

My friend broke up with his wife because his wife had a bestie at her work place, all effort to stop her from her so called bestie fell on deaf ears, in fact it seems she respect that her office bestie than her husband. I don't know how women reason, you are a married woman, you are keeping male bestie.
Bro i was listen to a program late night yesterday, from the calls i heard on radio i really shook my head for naija men ... the insecurity is over blown even the OAP was tired

The storyline was that a married woman got her Ex who was in a terrible situation and needed job badly, a job in her husband's company then later told the husband,

The level of insecurity men exhibited on that program was worrisome ... the problem is most men just married using money as leverage, men with high level of insecurity only have money effect on there woman and they know

if you marry your friend it will save you so much peace of mind

If you have male friends prior by virtue of being colleagues, coursemates, church members...etc, then you can't throw them away. However, there should be boundaries.

"I keep only male friends" is a statement that should be heard from women below 22yrs. No grown woman seeking meaningful relationship and courtship should be found saying such.

Men only agree to it when you are not their women. They know themselves. But some of you have convinced yourself they make better friends because of meatpie and suya. Tell your male friends to list their top 10 friends and you (a woman) would most likely not make the list.
I dunno why you feel your Perception should anchor as "Standard" ... and if you are not being an hypocrite you talk more with men even on NL than women, how much more in your reality

Women are there own worst enemies is a " platitude" that stands 90% and from a holistic view males make better supportive friends to females more, of which you poco are a beneficiary make i no just dey open ur yansh for here undecided

check out all the female entertainers who supported them, since Tiwa savage, Teni, toke makinwa rise how many female have they pulled up, forget age nothing is wrong with a female keeping a male friends boundaries lo maa judge

Why pay exorbitant rent in Lekki when you can spend half on the mainland while building yours?

Importing cement on the short run. But the issue about importing on the short run is that, it's going to be very expensive because of the high exchange rate.

We are not producing enough cement in Nigeria. We need more cement manufacturers in Nigeria
What are you even saying ! in a country where over 80% has less than 500k in there account ... what is the fraction of people building house

Demand overwhelming supply is a big lie that won't fly, we have abundance of resources to produce optimally no excuses

Have you heard or read about ABA WOMEN RIOT of 1929 before.i will encourage you to go and research the cause of that protest or riot as the case maybe, don't come to the public to showcase your ignorance, please.
For the Lazy heads that might think you said something meaningful ;

the protests broke out when thousands of Igbo women from the Bende District, Umuahia and other places in southeastern Nigeria traveled to the town of Oloko to protest against the Warrant Chiefs, whom they accused of restricting the role of women in the government

You should be ashamed of yourself, you couldnt even find a movement that encompasses both gender or one that fit between 1960 till date when we started having a government of our own.

How does a protest that advocated for more women in government resonate with National interest, how does it benefit all ?

Between 1960 till now Nigeria had five national protest, which one una no boycott, just the truth #No tribal
