If there's war I can tell you that the major things that would be targeted includes your basic infrastructures such as refineries, airports, seaports, major hospitals, federal capital territories etc, During the civil war Lagos state was the capital and the state houses major Nigeria infrastructure so do you expect Ojukwu to face Oshogbo or Ekiti where there's no presence of infrastructures? If your reasoning is what it means to be an adult i rather remain a kid, You ask a very stupid question and i managed to reply then you think a suitable come back is to shalaye lagos was capital, If ojukwu had invaded lagos successfully will there not be collateral damages such as innocent lives lost ... or will it be a cease fire take over Now Lagos is no longer the capital, are your brothers not still after lagos, was GRV not a geek gift to invade and hijack Lagos. Biafra were basically on the defensive side while Nigeria troops were on the offensive so what part of Nigeria soil did Biafra attacked? IF you don't know, kindly refer to history on google, forget what your parent told you Ojukwu led soldiers in an attempts to cease Lagos they were repelled along benin-ore, that was the last mistake they made OBJ the IGBOs appraise so much today was one of the major brains that ended Biafra |

Anyway, the population of his tribe has continue to reduce with mass fulani killings, while those he sought to extinguish keep growing in leaps and bounds.
That's his penance and recompense. Lets go by your stupidity ... scally11: My friend hausa is not a language in Ecowas. U either speak English or French. Why should he speak hausa. If Obasanjo wants to address Benin Republic on Ecowas platform will he speak yoruba because Benin people speak yoruba abegiii Ecowas encompasses ALL language spoken by member countries, The purpose of the PRESS was to address aggrieved members trying to exist Ecowas, it is more of a targeted audience than general ... Hausa is the only lingua francas that cut across Niger, Mali and Burkina faso that are about to exit No doubt, there will be an English version, if you follow BBC you will understand these things Imagine IGbos or Hausas are aggrieved in Lagos and the govt holds a press brief to address the aggrieved tribe in Igbo or hausa .. will it carry not carry more effect than English As a stranger Go to mile 2 and speak hausa to an aboki n see how good he will treat you compared to those blowing oxford grammar |

To them MB ppl who allowed sojourners overthrow them to the point of you adopting their language, you are soaked in foolishness.
To Gowon, it is good that you are alive to witness the growth of the region you wanted to annihilate, you didn't know we were seeds but your ppl are being wiped out and all your strength has failed you.You suddenly don't speak Hausa anymore.Where did it go to? I think it is you that is just hell bent on being unreasonable, despite the explanation made, which surprisingly add up cos we didnt see that angle Some countries are threatening to leave ecowas, these countries speak hausa largely which you can go verify, hence why the anchor was pushing for Gowon to speak hausa so as to reach a wider audience However i don't see why netizens are even making these an issue, Is Gowon not an hausa and shouldnt he be proud to speak is language, and as a matter of fact Hausa is the most widely spoken language in africa but, slavery mentality is why people like you feel so subservient to "English" if you don't speak english you feel like a worthless being |

Gerrard59: As I have stated countless times on Nairaland, if you put a pig against Udom Emmanuel, the majority of Nigerians WOULD gladly campaign and vote for that pig instead of Udom simply because Igbos support Udom. Mind you, Udom is an Ibibio man and Ibibios are not Igbos, but the very fact that Igbos support him would have other Nigerians vote for a pig to be the country's president.
You should learn to understand the mindset of your fellow Nigerians. The earlier you do, the better. IGBOs supported OBJ and GEJ are you suggesting they won via IGBO vote alone since Nigeria don't support who IGBO follow ... you people are just being emotional and unreasonable GRV is a classical example of the IGBOs undoing, GRV wants to become a governor over same people he makes condescending remarks and see as lesser beings BUT he expect unconditional love in return Naira scarcity 2023, Nigerians were suffering and die-in, IGBOs acted unconcern but somehow they just expect Magical love in return I keep asking since 1960 what as Igbos done to show they love & believe in Nigeria, is it the remarks or continued called for Biafra, Yet these people question why Nigerians don't trust them. dey play |

Ofodirinwa: Nwanne can you reason like a homosapien? What are the rules of the game? Beating and maiming people at the polls? Rigging? Killing over ballot boxes? looting? Making your girlfriend or fellow lotter CBN or finance minister?
So Igbos should learn that stupidity? Igbos are trying to do things like normal members of the human species and you think they are stupid because they don't want to do politics like a pack of gorillas. If somebody is making sense, and sensible people follow them, Nigeria will improve. Tinubu got on stage and licked a microphone unprovoked. Are those the rules? When you and others were supporting him as he walked around the country urine soaked, rigging, licking microphone, forging certificate, promising corn and agbado, did you think that he will bring pride to Yorubas once he wins?
Now Yorubas are the laughing stock of Africa. Look at Afcon, every country used your brother to insult Nigerians as a whole. Now everyone online is yabbing Northerners and Yorubas because of him. So if 'na my brother' was supposed to be a flex, is this flexing?
If somebody is making sense, you support them. That is all Igbos do. Igbos supported Jonathan, Yar Adua, Obasanjo and Obi. They have rejected BUhari and Tinubu. Buhari did not hide his stupidity. Tinubu did not hide his stupidity. But some of you still followed because you're stupid like them. Just follow normal people and you will have a normal life. Follow stupid people and have a stupid life. Life is choices and we must live to respect it, from time immemorial our choices as never aligned, IF SW take right SE will creat a road to take left and it as always being like that, dont know why some of you are acting as thou it began 2023 I just find it very funny when i hear SE accuse SW of tribalism, Tinubu losed two state in SW and he had @ about 58% votes from SW while SE accusing SW of Tribalism gave there son/brother 5 of 5 states over a 90% votes. Point of correction ... if it were to be by Igbos vote OBJ, Yaradua, GEJ would never have won, these ex-leaders had reasonable votes from North & south, so take a chill pill |

Faiththatworks: God bless Governor Sanwo-olu for listening to some of our advice on Nairaland. Some days ago I made a passionate plea to the governor to re-introduce the subsidy on the BRT buses, and today he announced a return of the subsidy on the fare. I have always said forums like Nairaland should be the go to website for Government officials to assuage the temperature of the masses. We must always keeping giving Government our own ideas and opinions on how to navigate this very very difficult times in Nigeria. I applaud every Nigerian who still believes it will get better in This country,I must reiterate I take no offense at those who have made up their mind that things will never get better. It's of no use trying to convince people like that to make any useful suggestions at this very trying period, better to leave them to gloat at their whatever victory they believe they have as the country goes through this hardship. As for the food market,I hope the governor is able to implement the idea of people not purchasing more than 25000 naira worth of food at the market, there are many many devilish people who will seek to buy up all the produce and resell at their stores. I will implore the governor make sure the food is branded in a way that the logo of the state is displayed prominently on the package and anyone caught selling it outside the market should be arrested. I'm sure this hard phase of our National life will come to an end very soon. Still selling Land in Ibeju-lekki close to Dangote Refinery, check my signature for more details. God bless Nigeria........... These will be one major challenge, trust our people, someone will want to buy everythin up to go n resell at high price claiming its business sense One person might even share money to 20 people to visit the market, Nigerians are somethingelse |
