"After marriage" no! Opting out isn't after marriage. After marriage should be life after death of one of the parties after all marriage is a life time commitment. Personally I don't like divorce and divorce related issues especially when it involves people you would ordinarily want to look up to. It's unfortunate it happened to anita and Chris. It's only both of them that know the real issues.I wish them well. If you can stand up to the challenge; it's worth every tear, laughter, pain, challenge, success, dignity, friendship, fight, joy, regret, anger, ecstasy, peace, anxiety, surprises, fulfilment that comes with marriage! |
Madam well done o! You even try cover some parts. Congratulations on your baby. |
One of the important issues is people's(or ladies) definition of suffering. The earlier we realize that working isn't synonymous with suffering, the quicker we solve the husband scarcity problem. There is absolutely nothing wrong in marrying a guy that doesn't have a car yet but is hard working, focused and intellectually alert. This guy will always flog the average '19 guy'any day anywhere!! But at the end of the day, birds of the same feather will always flock together. Have you listened to some guys describe their dream woman? You'll feel so disgusted! She must be fair, tall, slim, perfect coke bottle shapped! But when you see his sisters, you would be wondering why biology text books should make mistakes in drawing amoeba! |
Question number 1 |
Tallesty1:You killed it there. Many women and ladies post trash on social media and expect you not to correct them. Nudity has become the order of the day. Imagine bedroom pictures for the world to see. Irresponsibility is now termed "high self esteem" odiegwu!!! |
Why wouldn't they are advertise their privates when our celebrities post nude pictures and are applauded! This morning I saw tonto's nude pregnant pictures. The few ones that criticized her were tongue lashed by other women and mothers. The earlier we evaluate ourselves and revive our good old high moral standards, the better for our children. |

Share with us, why did you want to die? Do you wish for death or do you have the urge to initiate death? |
adet991:Any gift as in a wrist watch is a no no, even if it's one of them regular rides,NO! still but this ride? Extended Family meeting go dey involved o! The gods and the elders shall have the final say... But why will an ex give you such a gift with his/church mind? Something must be at stake! |
This particular range rover?? |
Honestly we're super beings. I tell you, she'll still be up by 5am, hours before his majesty wakes up. At work, her brain keeps making notes of how to run the home while striving to please her employer. God bless all women jare! |
SmartMugu:'Course, Wetin join us pass Wetin wan divide us |
Why do u guys say such rude comments to this lady? I am of euro Arab decent and have similar questions about my nigerian man. Only he wants me to get pregnant. I feel maybe so I do not leave him. He is so kind and loving. Just a very gentle man. I feel if I do fall pregnant it will only solidify his words that I'm not leaving him ever. He says it's the last stop for me. He is very jealous like Arab man. But coming from similar culture it doesn't bother me. Only thing I fear is if we have a baby, if things don't work out, I gather he will take the child away like Arab. He wants to get married and have a baby. Great. He also has 4 children. And the 3 in nigeria live with his mother and the one here lives with him. He said they don't play when it comes to the children. The men take the baby. So just because this woman if African American doesn't make her questions criminal or invalid. She's a woman and has a right to ask questions! Oh and my man is Igbo as well. And he doesn't say he prefers an Igbo woman. Being who I am, I would make a better wife than 3 Igbo women together.
Isn't it funny how people complicate things for themselves. You want to go into marriage but your fear is what happens if the marriage doesn't work out right?? Yet you claim you would do better than 3 ibo women right? Cool! Note: there is a big difference between the ibo men in diaspora and the ones resident in Nigeria behaviorally! The ones there are diluted but the chukwudi's and emeka's here are not beans!! The average ibo woman doesn't even consider your if not's, she hopes and works hard enough to preserve her marriage. Dem no de beg them to born o.(cs is only a last option) The list is long but I fear you wouldn't understand... |
Madam abeg this is a simple matter, if you aren't comfortable with Nigerian men, pls park well and go for your fellow Americans. Leave my ibo brothers alone. The men never reach us abeg. Leave them for the real African ladies that will appreciate them. Thanks |
SmartMugu:It's not only Yoruba o.even we ibos will always say "o neme guy" (he's doing guy) |
JOACHINpedro:I guess that's hop scotch( got the name from one of those novels I read) but of course it's the good old "swearl" |
JOACHINpedro:I guess that's hop scotch( got the name from one of those novels I read) but of course it's the good old "several" |
Well said! Most times our men applaud and seemingly appreciate the uncovered iPad except of course when they are ready to start a family... |
mostyg:Hei,Oga mi why you wan catch them na? |
aniseamos:Ajuju |
Your baby's got talent. Mine still struggles to draw a leaf! Each time the teacher complains my husband just says" madam he must not know everything" |
Honestly it's outrageous!! And the list is according to educational qualification o! The more educated the longer the list. I thought it was only mbaise till my husband's first cousin married an mbano girl. The guy who is just a labourer,a maison o, spent close to 1 milla untop a babe wey no get any work o.No be say she go school o.nothing nothing. No be say she get handiwork! Nothing ! The funny thing is that he was proudly recounting the marriage process to my husband and I because we missed the occasion; na so my husband dey look him and his wife. At the end of the story my husband asked him "Dee,didn't you tell them what you do for a living?" |
Aprilinjune:Kai!! I Sympathize with you.I don't know how hurt you are but your tone here really broke my heart,I wish things will work out for you. I'm really speechless. May God guide you unto a perfect path.amen. |
ahnie:See ke?me no de find am o. I wasn't even his original passenger. Up till today I still stroke my husband's niece about the incident. Say me well to your daughter. Na reverse psychology Oga take catch you o... |
4watever:For everything I do,I concentrate deeply.I've tried multi tasking and messed things up.guess that's how I'm wired. If you're driving me,you dare not pick a call. And when his majesty picks his call while driving, na so I go de march brake wey no dey near me. |
Is the heart story true? That's a miracle then. Your love story is captivating... Wish I could write like you. |
I no fit abeg. |
It depends on the child's age, then volume of income plus maturity level. There is an amount you shouldn't mention even if the child is super matured |
Where are the pictures na? |
House helps,Hmmmm! If they don't go after your husband,it'll be your money or children! Let's just hope she hasn't infected him with one terrible disease. |
