AyaE: Hello Guys, my grant just came in today!!!! Thanks to everyone who has contributed on this thread one way or the other on this thread. It has helped immensely. My time line: Submitted application-31st July 2019 Conditional offer- 15th July 2019 CoE- 24th November 2019 Biometrics- 27th December 2019 Submitted Visa Application- 25th January 2020 IELTS Score- 7.0 (I had a minimum band score of 7.0 so my average was 7.0). I got a waiver from the school so I didn't need IELTS for school admission. My agent advised I write one for visa so I did. School- Flinders University Sponsor's account: My maternal uncle. Submitted 2 bank statements. One had 18m and the other was a fixed deposit account that matures every 30days. It had 13m. Course- Social work (masters) BSc- Microbiology
Submitted my credentials, letter from sponsor, proof of relationship to sponsor (uncle & Mum's NPC) and sponsor's account statement. I didn't submit payslips or my account statement sha. Challenges faced: I already had an MSc in Microbiology so applying for a second masters was what I had to prove. Plus, with Social Work being a high risk course I had to write a convincing SOP. (I can share that with anyone interested cos mehn this took me like a month to write). My work experience was also a bonus cos I work as a care assistant. Please bro I will need a samle of your sop. Thanks and God bless the rest of your journey |

Good day everyone, I decided to pursue a Masters in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne.
Please is there anyone that has applied to this university and is the automatic scholarship valid with stipends, also is there any chance the English test can be wave since my degree in the last 5 years and research work is in English which is an option from the school in order to wave the English test.
Please I need advice and guidelines as I am doing it myself for the September intake. Thanks and God bless |

omopapa: 2 major things is likely the cause of it
1. Your geographical location
2. Your personal Statement.
When applying for jobs especially in the UK make sure u read the job description and person specification. Then write a personal statement tailored to address the key points in the PS and JD.
During interview selection the software or sometimes the person shortlisting only picks applications that matches with the JD and PS. I am in Nigeria ooo. How feasible is it to get a job from naija |

blazetitov: They sent mine June 26th, i got October 28 because it was sent through regular mail. When NIPOST brought, it was in tatters. I had to pay for an additional report and courier which i got within a week so i can go into the pool.
If you have money, you can pay to be sent via courier. If not, wait. But have it in mind, you can only get it when you get it.
Cheers. Hiw did you pay for additional report via debit card or what please? |

sweetoma: Hello house, silent reader here . I currently have a tentative CRS score of 450 With the current CRS trend of 471 at this time. I decided to register for a masters but I will not complete it until Jan of 2021. With a masters my score will go up to 478/ 482 but with the current rise in CRS score I am afraid that by the time I enter the pool in 2021, 478 may no longer be a competitive score
What do you advise I do, do I abandon the masters and start looking at provincial nomination or what ? Also should I enter the pool now with my current score while waiting for the MSC ? Please enter the pool while you run your masters |

beamtopola: Pls permit me to clear my self with what have read and understood in EE from part 2 to 9. i m new though. 1. you prepare for the IELTS at the same time evaluating your credential through any of the ECA organization eg World Education service(ECA) * you create account with WES and pay for service fee of (is stated on the site), write out your reference number generated. *WES will present to you the list of credentials to be sent to them(photocopy through a sealed envelope with the reference number and address on it) through courier service. * You will print out the form fill it and take it to your institution and apply for a transcript that the institution will send to WES. *for the waec/ neco.. You will get a scratch card from waec and include it in the document that will be send to WES(Dont really get this aspect. Is it that the scratch card should be sent separately ?) *WES will knowledge the received of your document and transcript then verify... Then, assigned Canadian equivalent of your credentials. # next step is to get your IELTS with a band score of 7.. LWRS 8777. #proceed to opening your profile in EE. # fill the necessary information and then submit. #If your CRS score is up to the cutoff point you will b included in the pool and then wait for ITA. #if you get ITA. *You have to get your medical ready. *Your PCC ready *Your reference letters from your Employees. *POF. *Birth certificate. *marriage *Your passport BIoData. #Application fees and rprf Submit Then wait for PPR. *After getting the PPR. You send your Passport to AVO for stamping. Then wait for COPR.
I just gone through the thread from part 6 and i need a correction where i misrepresent the information That WAEC PART IS NOT NEEDED.....WES CANCELLED IT |

kintipsy: My people please i need your advice.
I evaluated my Bsc using ICES and I am considering using WES to evaluate my diploma that I just got. What is the implication of not using the same evaluating body?
Will I still get two or more certificates if both bodies are used? Thanks for your anticipated response! Evaluate both degree with WES again to have peaceof mind. Moreover you will be doing both at the same price for one. My two cents |
