Aren't there any sensible Moslems (and Christians)around to see the irony presented by the Quran( and the bible), and can't they organize a nation-wide conference to winnow out the fact of the existence of " an elephant in the bedroom" of the Quranand the bible and offer a solution that will be a pride for Nigerian Moslems, and a model for other Moslem nations to follow?...after all Moslems who don't practice terrorism and other vices will still make heaven (Aljannah).

Religion must be censored and regulated in Nigeria. A peace deal and possibly a law must be enacted and enforced( in the absence of any)in Nigeria to ensure the right to people's freedom of faith and belief.Nigeria must find a way to gag the obvious evil potentiality the Holy books of Christians and Moslems presents if we must be free of religion-motivated vices, as a matter of necessity. I have seen and observed the fact that the average Moslem child is raised to detest people of other religion...this l witnessed first-hand, despite that some of them out-grow the child-hood brainwashing by the often fanatical and misled Mallam, and leading a serene and charitable life that leaves you wondering if they read the same Quran. On the other hand is the Christian...mostly not prone to take the machete to war, but yet carries this self-distructive "awoof mentality" mistaking it for 'exercising faith'...the result of course is trying to reap where they didn't sow, and sabotaging established processes at a point. There is also the idea of religious favoritism and backing it with scriptures...also about "being unequally yoked with unbelievers"--this one speaks about "being on top by all means".

All am saying is that just as the Iranians where able to strike a deal with the U.S. By gaining and losing at the same time, the two major religions must strike-out some of the poisoning scriptural admonitions in form of a law...or anything of some sorts that encourages,teaches and ensures inter-religious unity. If this is done, a Christian can confidently convert to Islam and vice-versa...such is the wonder of the term 'peace'. Inter-religious conversion and evangelism becomes fun and with lesser effort. Need l mention that if all the obnoxious scriptures are censored off, both parties will make heaven?

Some exist where the person still has a functioning brain and as such can relate events in dreams and imaginations. Memory of that event is what is termed 'Dreams'. Death is simply a situation where soul rids itself of the sheath (body) to continue or exist in a body higher in vibration from the physical one. Depending on the consciousness of that person in coma or when some one goes into coma, he finds himself looking at his physical body. he finds that his awareness is heightened. This is because the physical body also means handicap. when he imagines to be with the @poster for instance, it happens at that instance. The poster can investigate this personal...as in ask him what it was like during the coma state. The catch is in this: God created the universe and everything in it--animate and inanimate. There is nothing within Eckankar to provide guidance on moral issues such as abortion, sexuality, or other important issues. Determining what is “right” is left up to the individual. The spiritual practices of Eckankar involve trances, meditation, soul travel accompanied by “spirit guides” (demons), E.S.P., telepathy, mind reading, clairvoyance, and plugging into the “cosmic consciousness.” According to Eckankar, the human soul is on a spiritual journey to discover and improve the true self, thereby realizing its own true inner divinity.
It is clear that Eckankar is a false religion created by Satan and steeped in Hinduism and other Eastern religions. Satan is our “adversary, the devil, [who] walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8.) When someone gets involved in any type of occult practice, he opens the door of his soul to the devil and his demons. This is why God is adamant in His Word about not involving ourselves in activities such as are promoted in Eckankar. “There shall not be found among you anyone who . . . uses divination, an observer of clouds, or a fortune-teller, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or one who calls to the dead. For all that do these things are an abomination to Jehovah” (Deuteronomy 18:10–12a). Not only do such practices put us in danger of encountering demons, they are detestable to God because they replace worship of Him, the true and living God, with the worship of the self.
There is nothing new here. The New Age philosophy of Eckankar is nothing more than Hinduism in another package. Its real purpose is the exaltation of the self, the same old lie Satan has been propagating since the Garden of Eden when he tempted Adam and Eve by telling them, “You shall be as God” (Genesis 3:5). Eckankar may appear peaceful and loving on the outside, but it houses occult doctrines and practices, it rejects the truth of God that He has revealed in the Bible, and it denies that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. I was thinking earlier before seeing this thread; it was about how Muslims during their fasting period, they would charitably sponsor messages called 'tafsir' on radio and TV...my problem with that is that most of the preachers would attack Christianity and its doctrines. What triggered that thought was the spate of killings by radical Muslims in the name of God. so l thought that if Muslims especially their preachers will concentrate on preaching peace as they claim was the motive of their religion, perhaps it will be the best option for a peaceful earth. But the preachers love to gain follower-ship and hailing (shouts of Allah u Akbar!) by making their messages sting...not to say there aren't better scriptures to preach about in there Holy Book. I listened to one one time and thought that in a sane country, that guy should be arrested... those are the kind of preaching they listen to and go and start BH. Question is : If the Muslims are those who got it right...that Mohammed is the last prophet to come...and the Islamic way is the true path to God...then what have they to gain or lose by attacking Christianity? They concede that God is all-knowing, all-powerful etc...so why won't they let him 'take care' of the 'sinners' after all God has got His hell for those kind of people? You as a christian am sure could make sense out of the situation that the Muslim's scripture had placed the average Muslim...as opposed to the biblical teachings.

Certainly, for you to be able to rate a standard, you have to measure it against a higher standard. There are standards and there are standards. Truth has levels...Paul of the christian Bible says "when l was a baby, l learn and function as a baby..." I hope this thread hasn't gone stale...how the religions started off is that you find a teacher or prophet like Jesus finding a handful of disciples and teach give them a truth about God. These disciple will ccertainly not grasp this truth in equal measure for starters. They in turn will teach others based on there understanding...and you find that the original truth that was given had undergone wear and tear.

The Holy spirit is one big everything. To accomplish its purpose in a given point in time, carries destructive and constructive properties...hence it lowest attributes includes among many... Intelligence, virtue,the scientific laws, metaphysical laws, philosophy...etc, also it It (the holy spirit) is the very force that causes changes by standing as the destructive force. We laugh and cry, live and die, born young and age all in a bid to depict the nature of the Holy spirit in its lower manifestation.

Talking about pluralism in Eckankar, given the first paragraph, you can see that all religion is a Cut from this force referred to in Christianity as Holy spirit. Jesus and any other spiritual master can only give below 99% of truth in speech and writing. It's impossible to tell you am happy or write to you how happy l am, and for you to feel exactly how happy l am except when what caused my happiness makes you to feel happy as well--That's by the way though. So when this religion blossoms, another will too by concentrating on the Slice of truth that had been passed to them. On the scale of Truth, they will rank higher or lower based on mainly there capacity to inculcate Love as their mainstay and properties. If the bible says "seek first the kingdom of God..." , or "...when the Holy spirit is come, it shall lead you onto all truth" or whether these very quotes where found in the Satanist's bible( if such exists) we''ll gladly use that text or admonition. This stance is the same where one religion will strictly prohibits relationships with others in the name of God, but love will in its way make them helplessly falling on there knees.
