It is a shame that SE governors are weak and fearful and could not stand up for once and some bold statements.
I thing the only times the governors of SE come together to speak with one voice was they spoke against IPOB and proscribed it.
The annoying thing is that IPOB was proscribed nobody from the SE is talking about restructuring Nigeria anymore.
Up until now no Northern has ever opened his mouth to proscribe Fulani headsmen even when Fulani herdsmen have almost wiped out the whole of Benue state and Taraba.

But I want to let you know the Festus Keyamo is not the kind of person you paint him, he is a good man (even though good persons change) time and events eventually make people turn to something else. OK, for the records, in 2006, my close pal was arrested and charged with theft, all because a robbery incident happened within the axis he lived at that time, he was tortured, dehumanized and abuse, I called Keyamo on the issue, I saw his phone number then in Sun Newspaper as he wrote an article then,he charged me 400k. I pleaded and explained the while incident to him, he moved from Lagos to Makurdi because of that case and did not collect a kobo from us. 2011 my Uncle was cheated from becoming a BHAM member ( Benue State House of Assembly member) the same Festus Keyamo was in court with us, defending my uncle and stating facts and statistics on how my uncle was cheated and finally, INEC did the right thing. That's said, I have also heard from many people how Festus Keyamo helped them somehow, somewhere, Bro, that guy is Legit and good. I don't want to talk about failed exams, because I know all that is fake news. Remain blessed. . .

As a matter of fact after the likes of the Late Gani Fawhemmi, Femi Falana, Festus has helped so many people who couldn't afford legal fees, that said the issue of failing exams is all a propaganda. That man is a very intelligent man, ask anybody who have had course to converse with him.

What a joke this country is. Very soon some people wud be here applauding him. Of all the millions constituency allowance this is what he can offer as constituency projects and advertise such without shame.
In the first place the national assembly should never be given funds to finance projects. That is d exclusive duty of the executive. Yet they would blame the exwcutive alone for the decay in infrastructure when the national assembly by virtue of constituency funds they get have a great share in the blame but wud pass it to the executive alone.

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has declared his readiness to face Cattle Rearers who have taken him to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague.

Ortom said he was ready to challenge cattle breeders association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore at the ICC after the organization dragged him to the apex court for implementing the anti-grazing law.

He made the revelation at a stakeholders' meeting at the Benue Peoples' House in Makurdi on Monday.

"I heard that they have taken us to the International Criminal Court (ICC). Who is the criminal in this case? I am ready to meet them there.

We will work together and succeed for the sake of posterity. When our collective interest is threatened, we need to come together and fight.

We need to fight this common goal and until justice is done. I will not stop until justice is done to Benue people," he stressed.

A former leader of the Northern Elders Forum, Paul Unongo, said the Benue people could not submit themselves to be slaughtered as chickens, urging them to rise up and defend themselves.

He maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari must come to the state and condole with the people, as people normally do to the bereaved.

Unongo said: "You must stand by your governor and make new friends who will help you because you are a threatened species. We need respect because we have done a lot of things to deserve this."
