umar2: To me that Full Body Scanner is not supposed to be allowed. This is already a very big issue in the Middle East, Europe and even the US don't use it, because they know the turn around effect of such, when u are scanned with these machines, your images is stored in not just a 3D HD Images, along with 1Trillion color display with a very high Mega Pixel Picture and rotaional display. These pictures are stored in the hard drive or memory of this so-called device and could be used to destroy your name in the very near future. Imagine if u a ignorantly placed wanted and the next thing u see is your live HD Colour Pictures, Your Uptodate Data displayed online. Please not every technology is suitable for consumption. Y wouldn't they take that to the middle east and install it, is that not were they presume to be the safe heaven of terrorist. To me this is the greatest terror treat of our era. No to Full Body Scanners. They are better options. I stand to be corrected. God Help Us Amin. Consumption na food? Did all that you typed up there make ANY sense to you? Jeez! |

LOL@ Oyinda Weight loss isn't hard especially if you haven't been to the gym in a long time. . the weight just melts off The hard bit is keeping that weight off and maintaining it. Just eat moderately and hit the gym hard. You will be fine. The reason dieting don't work is because you gain all the weight back after you go off it It has to be a complete lifestyle change. Something you'll keep doing 40-50 years from now. |

na2day?: like every other nigeiran girl, u easily miss the point of an argument, no one said she cant afford it, after all she was alive b4 she met her man but how easily they transfer responsibilities to the man is what i am talking about. i need not go very far, plz go dig up nl threads and read what your fellow nigerian girls say here, a common line is, "are u not a man?" or "may be she wants to know that u can take care of her when u guys get married" etc. and these are educated girls that worked their butts off in school to get an education oooo. i always like to remind them of the good ol' adage, "u can't eat your cake and have it". why not take a survey and ask how many nigerian girls here take their man out and pay for it lets see. it is common knowledge on nl that alot of girls say they want men with "bentleys" when they dont have a bicycle tire to their name. i can give u stories and experiences i had in chicago, houston and dallas easily. u might be different but certainly u need to open a clinic for your sisters Alright. I rest my case. |

na2day?: at least u met the ones that have papers or are citizens and all they fear is being used, those ones i can handle as they will quickly know i dont need anything remotely to papers. what about the ones that u meet and they suddenly think that u are the answer to her and her family financial problems? some will come visit u and ask u to help fill their tank, just bcuz they showed up in your house. they u of a restaurant they found with great deals and even have coupons, u get there and by the time u are done u are out of $40 easily. if u asked them to cook they claim they are tired but just tell them u just finished cooking and u will see their eyes glow like green lantern and next thing out of their mouth, "honey i am so hungry, its just as if u knew i was coming". dont get me started on nigerian girls in the usa! $40 isn't a lot of money if you take someone out every once in a while. That is about average. You shouldn't have to ask a girl to cook something for you and doing that means you don't even know her well enough. Guys here too complain! |

Marrying someone in Nigeria has it's gripes and all. It is all a personal choice. Not everyone wants to marry someone and bring them here For one the issue of if they married the said girl/guy for real or just because they want to come over. These things aren't that black and white jare |

davidylan: 1. Not even date her in the first place. A man shld have standards for who he dates, if you know you cant stand a woman who drinks, dont waste your time.
2. In the event you date one, simply lay down the rule - no drinking period. She either complies or you move on. I'm sure some are assuming a man shld do this cracking a whip - no, if your woman respects and LOVES you, she will try her possible best to cut out those things that make you unhappy.
3. talk about it together, rather than eat out, insist you both stay in and try out some new recipe . . . as a man, its your job to teach your woman. It ALSO implies that your life is itself a modell that she can admire and follow. Okay I hear you. From what I understood he (Ogidiboy) doesn't have a problem with her drinking . . you know being a social drinker Just that she's been doing a bit much of it lately and all. I don hear you sha |

Are you just saying that to get attention or you really mean that? Why don't you go ahead and lose weight so that you can be a size 0. That is certainly more sexy. honeric01: We cool, we cool Yes that we are. |

honeric01: Silly man, if your wife catch you, na outside you go sleep for 3 days
Now you see that her post has confirmed what i was trying to explain to both you and dayokanu that :
Her boyfriend might be financially buoyant than her That he might not be in the relationship for any personal or selfish reason That he might have decided to stay in Abuja not because he can't afford to leave anywhere else but before he preferred Nigeria.
as for fantababe, like some said, you are the only one with the answers to your questions and i wish you good luck in your future and marriage. Even if the above is true; Still doesn't make any difference in this case. She's in for it but like you said she's the only one who can make that decision. |

fantababy: Am still rereading all the posts and am laughing. Let me clarify some stuffs:
1. Thank you kabukabu for the pictures, am a 5.4 and my shape is similar to the number 2 picture.
2. My fiance is not marrying me for my papers, I am a canadian citizen, and he is a british citizen. He recently relocated back to Nigeria to set up an interior decor business which is doing very well.
3. I asked for the opinion of Nairalanders because I wanted to see things from different angles and get various views.
4. Am actually very pretty, I won 2nd runner up Miss Fego while at secondary school.
5. We both love ourselves sincerely, but I think he likes a trophy girl that he can show round to his friends.
6. I had suitors from canada, but none of them matched my standards. Am a christian and I wanted some1 with the same faith and values as me.
7. And am not a desperado. He was the one pushing for marriage this yr cos he wants to settle down before his 28th b.day in March. Case closed! Now good and best of wishes to you and your marriage. |
