Family › Re: What Is The Penalty Given To A Man Who Didn't Pay Lady's Dowry Before She Died? by chikitobabe(f): 10:35am On Jun 11, 2020 |
There is no spiritual implications what so ever, but traditionally what this implies is the said lady isnt your wife as such you cnt claim ownership of the child.
So the family doesnt sent you to claim that child later .
Where I come from a man who is not traditionally married to a lady (as in paying a dime on her) has no right over the child that was born in such a relationship. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is N65k Salary Job Good Enough In Lagos? by chikitobabe(f): 9:39pm On Mar 06, 2020 |
Doyin400l: So I was planning to relocate to Lagos. I got a job late last month and the pay is 65k. There is a free staff bus to and fro.
My question is it advisable to take this job after staying at home for almost 2 years?
Factor is cost of living in a city like Lagos..
Note: I have my side hustle giving me at least 35k monthly
Any advice? It's very ok,when I came to Lagos I started with a salary of 9k then to 13k to 25k and during these years I was staying alone paying rent transport and all that it wasnt easy . Yea ,it was tough but with that I saw my self through school frm ND to HND. The rule is leave within ur means u cnt be earning 65k and be paying a rent of 250 to 300 it wont wrk .dnt party or go clubbing. Limit ur circle of friends. Save every penny u cn and in the next 3yrs hopefully u cn hv a good story to tell. |

maasoap: Wrong advice. The fact she's the one telling us her side of the story doesn't make her blameless. Most of the women that their husbands leave home for them are usually troublesome wives. Why would the husband not buying baby food while coming back from work degenerate to serious argument? This is the question you should ask her. She took food stuffs from her mother without informing her husband! You thought that was perfectly okay too? What ever be the reason a man who loves a lady and wants it to wrk ..wont ask her to leave at the slightest provocation, do u knw what it means to tell ur wife to leave her matrimonial home?.that's manipulative pls. Even leaving the house is wrong. |

Madam,I will advise u to take a walk out of that marriage, emotional abuse is the worst punishment any one cn give to a person People outside dnt understand it except the sufferer, it will get to a point you begin to question ur self worth .u begin to see urself as a failure yet people wont see it that way. These type of men are narcissistic, they hv no empathy, no conscience, and they only tell you sorry to keep u staying while they manipulate and treat u bad. They find solace in the hands of women out there cos they do not want any emotional attachment either frm you or them. Thank God you have a child. 6 years of my life was wasted cos people said make it work and I stayed and it still didnt work, rather I was defeated emotionally. So my dear, pick your child, get something doing and move on. Trust m u need to be emotionally healthy for that angel God has given to u.
Trust m ,men like this dnt change |

Honestly tacha is going through alot now,the hate is too much. Funny enough everybody has got body odour just that the level of offensiveness varies.
Though I dnt support the hate,I still wish this will teach her a lesson that humility pays, pride and arrogance arent the root to success .even though that is what some Nigerians see as been real.
For the song....its no big deal.very soon it will all die down. |

xcelentattitude: As genuine as your excuses are, I'm sorry but they aren't tenable before God.
Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Situations, bad people....sexual advances from men of God? NO!
Offences are bound to come but will you allow them rob you of your place in God's kingdom.
Men of God are first of all MEN, they feel what other men feel too, they only decided to allow the Holy Spirit help them exercise control over it. Some even fail and fall in the process and rise up again (make their way right with God).
Please do not sit around moping over spilled milk. Maybe God wants you to hear this, hence this threa
d, your own comment and my own quote. Not going to church doesnt make m a lesser Christian. I still listen to gospel messages..the truth is I hv lost faith in the shepherds. |

Yes and that single atitude killed my Christian life..imagine where a pastor you look upto ,u so much belive in his ministry and respect alot and was even close to his family..I was soo committed in the things of the lord .I was zealous to Serve God ..then boom the pastor wants a piece of me...was loosing control at the sight of me even when on the alter ..had to call me to give him chance, asked m to go book a hotel..I resisted him but since then I lost faith in these men of God and I stopped going to church for 3 yrs now...I pray in my house . |

Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by chikitobabe(f): 7:21pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
Area4Area: Most of you don't understand things.
The FG didn't ban importation of rice, it only placed it among goods that importers won't be given subsidized dollars to import. So they must source for their dollars in the open market.
The FG increased the tariffs and duties on imported rice through our ports, this was to discourage imports and encourage local production by farmers thereby creating wealth and jobs for those into rice production.
Importers seeing that importing through neighbouring countries and smuggling into Nigeria was cheaper decided to go for that option.
Who loses or gains? Loss
Loss of tariffs and duties to our neighbours, Low price of imported rice discourages local farmers from expanding production, Unemployment.
Gains
Asian rice farmers smile to the bank, they make more money and pay taxes to their home governments, more employment too, Our neighbours make money as well because of the tariffs and duties Nigerian importers pay,
Developed countries like Switzerland and even Japan still have some form of restrictions on imports of agricultural produce because they want to boost production and help their farmers, why can't Nigeria do same?
Any serious rice importer should import through our ports, pay normal tariffs and duties and sell. I personally would wish that foreign rice to go as high as 50k, if you can't afford it then go for local, if you don't like it, other sources of carbohydrate are available an d if you are not satisfied, DRINK WATER. But has Nigeria arrived to that level of self sufficiency? |
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by chikitobabe(f): 3:27pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
The Government knws Nigerian has not gotten to a level of self sufficiency, why close the boarder.? They would hv used it to generate money for the country by placing import charges on goods brought in frm there. Out right closure has led to inflation and it's all on the common man. What does this government actually want us to do.everyday Nigeria is sinking deeper into mess and we only see there achievements on the media.no good road,no transparency in govt.nothing is working at all. Honestly without God on our side....Nigeria is heading to a colossal doom. |

James Brown had on Saturday sent an emotional birthday message to Bobrisky, calling him his aunty and wrote on how the popular socialite inspires him. Read his post:
“Happy birthday to one and only {Auntie mi} long life and prosperity….. We come across so many people in our lives, but the one who leaves an impact is hard to get…. Happy birthday to the one who doesn’t give a f**k to what people say, but focuses on her set goal. Happy birthday to the one who knows what it means to be independent and focused.
“Happy birthday to the one who knows the meaning of fashion …. The very first time I met you, you were so friendly and bold, trust me, you’re one of the few people I always up to. Thank you for being you.“
