PoliticsRe: Obiano Inspects Modern Flyovers: To Be Ready By April. by Chinom(m): 10:37pm On Feb 13, 2016
AnamCity:
Let me enlighten you a little. Firstly flyovers are meant for speed ways. Aroma flyover will ease the traffic at the junction leading to Secretariate road and the one leading to High Tension r oad. The Kwatta flyover will ease traffic for motorists diverting either at Kwatta junction or Iyiagu estates while that of Amawbia flyover will ease traffic for motorists going either at Amawbia bypass or NTA road. The flyovers were well designed for this purpose so vehicles heading to Onitsha does not come down but keep flying until it passes all the junctions.
Ease which traffic. Vehicles speeding along Enugu - Onitsha expressway never had any problem at those junction. Have you ever travelled along the Asaba - Benin highway. What Obiano did is like building a flyover at all the junction leading to the villages. From Asaba, Onitsha Ugbo, Umunede, Isele ukwu to Agbo.
A flyover at Amawbia junction is ridiculous. The only motivation for such construction is to steal public funds. Go to lagos or any major city in Europe to see what flyovers are meant to do. A Pedestrian crossing would have been more useful.
PoliticsRe: Obiano Inspects Modern Flyovers: To Be Ready By April. by Chinom(m): 9:53pm On Feb 13, 2016
Those flyovers are fraudulent. I have driven past them a couple of times and I just cannot figure out what purpose they are meant to serve. He built Flyovers in the same direction as the normal highway.

I am sure he owns the construction company building them because I never heard of the company before. The "Flyover" which is NOT flying over anything is just an avenue to embezzle.

I seriously doubt you an aviator.

I'm captain sully 's record was tainted when he landed in the Hudson River right?

If not that you have a family who loves you, it would have been very nice if one of those surface to air missiles hit your chopper.
Stop being mischievous !.This pilot did not land on water. She crashed into it. In captain Sully's case everyone could clearly see the aircraft sitting on the water with passengers rushing out. Wait for investigations to be concluded.

'Captain Abimbola Jayeola
Meet Nigeria’s first female helicopter pilot, Captain Abimbola Jayeola, who was the captain on the Bristow helocopter that ditched in the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, February 3.

Her split-second decision saved the lives of everyone onboard and several families linked to them.

Nigeria should know its heroes, so let’s get to know better this amazing young lady who was ready for everything to become the very first female helicopter pilot in the world’s most populous black nation.'

This a very dumbazz post. Nigerians now look at everything through ethnic lens. How d phuck do you know she wasn't the actual cause of the crash. It could have been human (Pilots) error. Wait till the investigations are concluded before you start given praises.

You guys should just leave Fr. Mbaka alone. He is a Catholic priest. Not TB Joshua, Oyakhilome, Chris Okotie or that greedy Winners guy. HE DOES NOT NEED THE MONEY. What will he do with excess money? A catholic priest has no worldly possessions.

LEAVE HIM ALONE.

"There is no amount of revenue that is enough or a visionless and wasteful government" - Martin Onovo.

This quote is what all well meaning Nigerians need to take away from this interview. Our governments have been wasteful since 1978.
I don't give a ratzazz about Maupe. She has never impressed me.

If you have the money to spend and live comfortably outside the country, you won't even know the map of Nigeria let alone remembering it. Nigeria is a lovely country, its our politicians making it a living hell for us to stay.
True for some people, but it's a lot more fulfilling if you have the money to spend and live comfortably in Nigeria. Rich and comfortable Nigerians cannot spend more than 3 weeks outside Nigeria. Poverty drove most Nigerians out in the first place. With substantial fund, no place beats Nigeria as a place of residence for NIGERIANS.

Cabal yet Buhari gave him 3 of the most powerful portfolios?

El Rufai is needed in Kaduna for his 2 terms

So After Buhari then Fashola, after fashola back to El Rufai, after El Rufai then osinbajo,
Osinbajo?!! what are you smoking?. Buhari will hand over to a younger Northern man. Make no mistake about that. Saraki, Tambuwal and El Rufai rank much higher than Fashola in the eyes of the cabal.
Fashola, Tinubu, Amechi and co were used to achieve their aim of returning power to the North.

Well said Asiwaju Bola tinubu

Most people know the successor Buhari favour

When you see a president give just one man Ministry of Power, Works and Housing. Do you need a priest to tell you thats the man the president is well pleased with

I just hope Buhari does the sanitizing of corruption by 2023 hand over to the competent Babatunde Raji Fashola
In your dreams, I don't think you know what a CABAL means. Fashola is good. PMB was mandated to appoint him and Amechi for the sake of party(APC) loyalty. The main crown prince for Buhari and the Northern oligarchs is Mallam El Rufai. After Buhari, El Rufai will be appointed to take over. Those appointed ministers are not members of the cabal. Even Tinubu is on the margins.

I can't forget seeing Jim shaking hands with my soccer idols in an early 80s soccer almanac, with players of Enugu Rangers International FC during a challenge cup finals against Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan, at National Stadium, Surulere Lagos. In that photograph were : Emmanuel Okalla, Patrick Okalla, Mike Ogbuodudu, Christain Chukwu, Aloy Atuegbu, Ifeanyi Onyedika, Okwuchukwu Obiora, Kenneth Boardman, Okey Isima, Louis Igwilo, Christain Ogbodo, Totty Totty, Kingsley Onye, Charles Okonkwo, Ikechukwu Ofoje, Benjamin Okorogwu, Justice Enwendu, etc
You area thoroughbred Coal city guy. Kudos to you. These names brought back some good memories.
PoliticsRe: FG To Remove State Of Origin by Chinom(m): 6:28pm On Jan 10, 2016
This is long overdue. However, talk is cheap. They should implement it asap. State of Origin should not be discarded completely. State of origin should be your state of birth. Where you were born. Your ancestral place of origin will forever remain intact. We can always deduce that from your surname, when possible. That, like your religion should be a personal matter and not an issue for the state of federal government.
PoliticsRe: N4.7bn Cars: Buhari Can’t Dictate To Us –n’assembly by Chinom(m): 4:28pm On Jan 01, 2016
If we cannot stop them eventually, then they must purchase only IVMs from INNOSON motors. That N4.8b must be spent in Nigeria. I think Buhari and the CBN can insist on that.
CultureRe: What A Blaine Harden Wrote About Yoruba People by Chinom(m): 4:22pm On Jan 01, 2016
What Blaine Harden wrote is what we know already. The Yoruba's are loud mouthed cowards with very little scruples. Their sexual morality is also the lowest amongst all Nigerians. Maybe at par with that of the Calabars and Idomas.
PoliticsRe: N4.7bn Cars: Buhari Can’t Dictate To Us –n’assembly by Chinom(m): 4:11pm On Jan 01, 2016
We, the people MUST NOT allow this. They have state of the art cars already. We must also push that they receive only sitting allowances. No salaries. I back the president on this one.

That's because the majority drive like I.diots.
Make that compound I.diots. You could spend 5 hours on the traffic leading to a T-junction only to get to the junction and discover that nothing is blocking the road. The traffic was simply caused by unruly, impatient and very rude drivers. No body wants to give way the drivers that actually have 'right of way' at the junction. They will just clog and lock themselves in.

PMB should note this. So Nigeria's economy is bigger than that of The Netherlands and Belgium. But the difference between Naija and those countries are from Calabar to the North pole.
