It's a good investment if you are lucky to live up to 100years. Personally ,I would never tie my money down for so long. Property business is something you should invest in with real idle money. I mean money you don't know what to do with. That's why banks are the biggest investors in real estate. @Olumide4christ; the cost of land at those places where the rent is 400k to 900k for a 3 bedroom bungalow is in the neigbourhood of 15 to 20million. So by the end of the day, you are back to square 1. |
The only real Dollar billionaires I recognize in Nigeria are Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Jim Ovia,Orji Uzor Kalu and maybe Fola Adeola (If he is a dollar billionare). These are people that started from the scratch and built a multi billion dollar business. We all know that Adenuga and Alakija had to suck a certain man's d*ick to be where they are today. Or should we conclude Atiku, Abdulsalmi and the other crooks among our billionaires?. Gerrraahia !! |
MadCow1:Because Igbo billionaires are NOT interested in Forbes list. Is Mr. Forbes a Nigerian. How could he possibly know who is actually rich in Nigeria. Forbes list refers only to businesses listed on the stock exchange and those who front them. He knows nothing about the real owners of wealth in Nigeria. Nobody can convince me that Mrs Alakija and Otedola are richer than Emeka Offor, Ifeanyi Uba or Orji Uzor Kalu. Besides we all know the real investors behind Adenuga and Alakija. Are those people on Forbes list. NO. When it comes to Nigeria, Forbes can never get accurate statistics. For example, is Mrs Alakija richer than Danjuma. Both of them got their oil wells in the same manner- a gift (Dash). Forbes list is not relevant in Nigeria. Stop having an e.rection over it. |
Bre:Well, Agribusiness, Retail and transport/logistics hold the key for now. All these Solar, Pay solutions and other high tech businesses are niche businesses. Those are for the future. If you want to make it NOW go into the aforementioned 3 sectors. Dangote became a multi billionaire by selling things we can hardly do without: Cement, Sugar, salt, Flour etc. To make in Nigeria, you will need to sell something the average Nigerian needs and can afford directly or indirectly. Dangote with his new refined petroleum biz will be rubbing shoulders with Bill Gates in due course. Nigerians need cheap fuel. |
KINGinVAHALA:You still have not told me if the damned Obi smartphone is Igbo made or not. I'm waiting. Mr. "Like mind" |
Well known trick in that axis. From Alade market, through Allen junction to Airport hotel. Only a JJC to those areas will fall for their tricks. |
KINGinVAHALA:Google it?. Why should I when we have our very own Google here on Nairaland. You are our Goggle. Tell us all you know about Obi smartphone. I no get mbs to waste. |
Bre:I don't know about that. But the 'Obi' could be Japanese. Some Japanese names and words sound uncannily Igboish. I'm guessing it's our own 'Obi' |
"The phone in the picture is one of the versions of the Obi Worldphone; a low-priced smartphone that’s specifically targeted at the African market. Guess what? It sells for just about $129, and it’s selling like hot cakes." Is this our very own Obi (Igbo) or some Asian man ?. Just curious. |
I guess he will have to 'rape' a guy in prison to prove he's gay. Otherwise his azz will be coming back to Nigeria after his jail sentence. |
Hogwash. The Mod was just trying to use "Enugu" to generate traffic. "The villagers put two and two together" ?!!!. Nonsense. |
Na Dem.. always dissecting and beheading women and children here and there. Moving dope around is like pick pocket compared to this crime. To make matters worse, the killers and ritualists are seldom caught. |
Not condoning drug trafficking, but there is no way you can compare this to the crime of the people that ripped that teenage girl's heart out. That was a gruesome crime. Homeboys are habitual risk takers. That's the IPOB youth spirit. |
sirugos:That was classic. You nailed it . |
Enugu ada azu ndi mgbu..... 042 Alobams |
Nigeria does not have a Finance minister. 'nuff said. Wake me up when one is appointed. |
Oliseh was a complete disappointment. All talk and no action. An armchair critic. Good Riddance. |
Thunder fire all of you wey don come here to scream your objection to the girl and the story. I was crucified, called 'demonic' and a 'chronic bad belle' when i posted my objection to the whole story ab initio. I and one other guy who wrote in red colour who was terribly maligned here. Now, everybody is realizing what some of us knew all along but few of us had the guts to voice it out. I cannot stand gutless people. People with no balls and cowards who are afraid of negative reactions even on an anonymous forum. The story was a fluke. |
ANNAMCO has become nothing more than a servicing and maintenance garage. They have long stopped assembling new vehicles. Either G.U.O or ABC transport own it now, but I would very prefer that Innoson would take it over to expand his assembly plants. ANNAMCO is a coal-city factory. Built when Enugu was the capital of Old Anambra state. |
Na only this Ofe..people fit pull dis kind stunt. Every other tribe in Naija would handle it with more dignity. Hope he gets his money back. |
Good a thing you apologized because you almost lost me for good. I could not believe that you were bragging about spending $14,000 on a handbag. On the same page was a thread about a Danish woman rescuing abandoned children in Uyo. Babe, get your priorities right. I have always admired you, but do not take us for granted. It is insane for a Nigerian to brag about something like that. Meanwhile, enjoy your life to the fullest. NB: Buy IVMs. Give something back to the nation. |
How many freshly discovered models come to a contract signing ceremony with their husband and baby. Something for you guys to ponder. "nuff said. |
streetcred10:I agree for 100% that 'it's a complete turnaround' for the girl. No doubt about that. But let's see how long it will last. She lacks that animal attraction and sex appeal that most super models have. Even the physically ugly one. It's an insult to my intelligence to bring in B.Sc in your post. |
micronut:You are so daaaamn stoopid !!.This was exactly what I was talking about. Everybody and anybody who has a different opinion has "Bad Belle". I never want people like you around me anyway. To you she is already a 'Super model'. As far as I am concerned, she does not measure up at all. The whole hype has to do with her being an Agege Bread seller. There are even rumours that the whole thing was set up by TY. Of course she had to be an Agege bread seller. A 'sweet sensation' bread seller has no chance. Boo to gullible people. |
Stanbic IBTC dey find who dem go pay 5k to model for dem. Cheap article. Nigerians and false modesty. Nobody is wishing this girl bad. She will still reap from what mother luck has brought her way. But you guys should allow everyone to honestly express their opinion about what is going on about this girl. A whole lot of negative, bad shyte was said about that Sudanese model that was discovered in her village. That did not stop her from being successful. However, I really don't know how far this girl will go. To me she lacks something. |
I have problem with the use of the word 'Permanent' Why would you want to 'Permanently' stop masturbation. there's nothing wrong with it if it's not affecting your life negatively. Many married couples still do masturbate either together or alone. It's a lot safer than being hooked on alcohol or cocaine. The only people that do not masturbate regularly are junkies. Because the dope gives them the feeling as an orgasm. Both activity trigger the same part of the brain that gives pleasure. |
Well...she will NOT be modeling my clothes. I have seen much more attractive groundnut sellers in Lagos. |
What's wrong with these pictures? !!! that girl though....... |
Sharing the spoils of victory. De loot go reach all loyalists na. |
realjoker:You have displayed so much ignorance in your posts that I cannot ignore you anymore. Please note that ALL cars are assembled all over the world. From Mercedes Benz, BMW, Toyota, Renault to Kia, Hyundai etc. In the auto industry, we don't have production plants, but assembly plants. The various components are made and delivered from different parts of the world. IVM ARE MADE IN NIGERIA VEHICLES. |
That Innoson SUV makes sense. There is absolutely nothing wrong with driving it as a personal car. BEN BRUCE FOR PRESIDENT. Our very own Obama. Nigeria MUST move forward. |
