As a fresh lawyer, recently called to the bar, you don't even need an office to start your practice. You can operate from home. How much does a suit cost. Just buy one pair of suit, hang around the courts and you are in business. Not to mention all the small scale property deals you can draft for clients and make a decent living. I have seen 45 years old lawyers doing "Charge and Bail" in Lagos.

The son was not drugged. It has to do with the culture of these people. The subservient and slavish attitude of children to their parents, especially the fathers is to blame. If you have to lie flat on the ground each time you see your father, he can get you to do anything. Before the Yoruba son realizes the danger of what his father is up to, it's too late.

I am not usually a fan of PMB, but I stand with him for 100% on this issue of NO DEVALUATION. Devaluing the Naira will not solve any problem. It will only add to our woes. The use of dollar is simply based on trust invested on the dollar by the strength and reliability of The American economy. It's not sanctioned by any treaty whatsoever. Nobody goes to Cotonou- Benin republic with Dollars to buy anything. We simply convert our naira to CFA. That is also international trade. I hope you've learnt your lesson.
