Kachikwu knows what he's saying. HE IS AN IGBO MAN. I support the deregulation. Watch Ifeanyi Uba and other top notch Igbo marketers crash the price of PMS under 6 months. Uba will sell his PMS for Between N100-N120 a liter, then the price war will start. Fuel will eventually settle at around N100 a liter. Good move by the federal govt. Note: Dangote will join in very soon putting added pressure to the price. Besides, most of the fuel will be refined locally. I see a bright future. |
junketer:...and most of the ministers ride on public train to work too. Buruji is afraid of his shadow. |
barrwebilor:To be honest with you, this your post makes me angry. What is wrong with young people of nowadays?!!. As a fresh lawyer, recently called to the bar, you don't even need an office to start your practice. You can operate from home. How much does a suit cost. Just buy one pair of suit, hang around the courts and you are in business. Not to mention all the small scale property deals you can draft for clients and make a decent living. I have seen 45 years old lawyers doing "Charge and Bail" in Lagos. Here you are looking for a Law firm to GIVE YOU A JOB. You even had the nerve to mention suicide. If you kill yourself now, you deserve to die. Get off your lazy azz and go and hustle. |
marsoden:This is NOT an issue of 'Igbos being own enemies'. We must not accept nor condone inept governors who embezzle our collective wealth through the construction of meaningless projects. Not everyone in Anambra supports this so-called Flyover project. The money should have been put to better use. Amawbia junction is just a junction that a big roundabout would be enough to solve whatever traffic issues there are. The Flyover is a white elephant project done by an obscure construction company. The Imo/Anambra beef is a normal beer parlour talk. It's normal to criticize our governors when they goof. Ask Gburugburu what he went through with the Fulani massacre in Enugu. |
If Kachikwu was beside me right now, he will receive a resounding SLAP. Make dem no make me vex. |
Dat thing no be flyoverooo. It's just one useless and unnecessary contraption that was used to embezzle. This is like calling Ebeano 'tunnel' a flyover or even a tunnel for that matter. We are not all fools. |
Beremx:The son was not drugged. It has to do with the culture of these people. The subservient and slavish attitude of children to their parents, especially the fathers is to blame. If you have to lie flat on the ground each time you see your father, he can get you to do anything. Before the Yoruba son realizes the danger of what his father is up to, it's too late. No 35 years old Igbo son will sit down and watch his father go and bring a chain to chain him down. The father will not even dare think about such a punishment in the first place. He would rather encourage the son of 35 yrs to leave his house. The Yoruba culture made this inhuman treatment possible. |
I am not usually a fan of PMB, but I stand with him for 100% on this issue of NO DEVALUATION. Devaluing the Naira will not solve any problem. It will only add to our woes. Manufacturers can at least buy their foreign currencies at the official CBN rate. That saves us from humungous price increases. |
I rarely comment on this celebrity threads, but this one got my attention. I don't mind the "Baby Daddy" title, I'm a 'Baby Daddy' too, but that 'NwaFela' got me worried. Is he about to chase Fela's record of 27 wives or baby mamas?. Flavour Nwamama, relax a little bitooo. Keep doing us proud. I can't get over that "Ogene" music you did with Zoro. 042 for life. |
Pour all the money into stable power supply. The country will not move forward until we have regular power supply. MDAs should only be given money to pay worker's salaries. |
otokx:Lebanese may not be full 'Oyinbo', but have you forgotten the American citizen who fought his deportation from Nigeria and did everything he could to be allowed to stay. Nigerians sometimes take Nigeria for granted. Any person who is able to earn a good and sustainable income in Nigeria would not want to leave Nigeria permanently. Na only de hungry ones wan run comot. I don't blame them though. |
Seventeen:Na only you see am well. Dat guy don reach 50 or very close to 50. Clarion looks great for a 51 year old woman. I would....... |
How do couples get to this stage after having 5 children together?. It really baffles me. It's obvious the woman does not want a divorce. An Igbo woman will hardly agree to a divorce after 5 kids. If I was Chinedu, I would gladly leave the house for her. |
He will forever regret not fixing Nigeria when he had the best opportunity to do so. He will be taking our $12 billion with him to the grave. $12b in the late '80s and early'90s would have solved a lot of our current problems. The cronies who are holding some of our money he stole in their businesses will be glad to see him go. That's one monkey off their backs. |
They do look alike. RIP to the fine mom. |
Is this not something like the "Eze ndi Igbo of Agege" in Lagos. As far as I know, London has just one mayor. That blond haired guy called Boris.... Anyway, congratulations to this 'mayor' of Peckham. |
Remove this nonsense from the FP. It's getting stale. Your bias is becoming very obvious. We all know who owns what crime by now. .....Delete this as usual..... |
Abudu2000:You have been effectively put in your place by previous posts, no need to add to your woes, but please DO NOT post misleading info on this forum again. There are lots of young and upcoming Nigerians that are here to learn. The use of dollar is simply based on trust invested on the dollar by the strength and reliability of The American economy. It's not sanctioned by any treaty whatsoever. Nobody goes to Cotonou- Benin republic with Dollars to buy anything. We simply convert our naira to CFA. That is also international trade. I hope you've learnt your lesson. |
Stoopid blogger has managed to turn a simple communal clash found within every community in Nigeria into a "Slave" vs "Free-born" issue just to generate traffic. Of course it had to be in Igbo land. Utter NONSENSE. ...Well, just noticed that the story is from Vanguard Newspapers. Nothing but sensationalism. The reporter needs a pay raise. |
Na to begin cane this kid (Wizkid ) be dat. Linda does not need the police. Just tell the boys in Alaba, Orile and Okoko..that this boy is harassing you. He will receive some 24 lashes. |
PAINGAIN:Hausas are no masters at politics. Nothing "Genius" here. Tinubu and Yorubas made it possible for the Hausas to be in this position now by falling for Buhari, El-Rufai and Atiku's game. Yorubas simply fell 'mugu' for Buhari. Since we all sure that Buhari will go for a second term in 2019, PDP has no choice but to front a fellow Hausa man as their presidential candidate in order to get the Northern votes. The situation would have been totally different if Jonathan won the last election. The only aspect one can refer to here as 'Genius' is that the Hausas were able to use the Yorubas to the fullest to achieve their aim. PDP would have to field a very strong and young Hausa man in 2019 to have any chance of winning the presidency again. |
Same MASSOB youths will go to Nwodo's house at Enugu and Nsukka for free bottles of Gulder and Star any time a party is thrown there. People looking for what to eat are in no position to banish anybody from the Coal city. WE OWN THE COAL CITY. not Massob. |
Ritchiee:Henry Akinwande, great fighter?!!. you're joking right. I only reckon with Najim Maiyegun. The rest are plain wussies. Ike Ibeabuchi would have been our very own Mike Tyson. Search him on Youtube. But, like a typical Igbo man with excess testosterone, he overreacted and over-indulged in a lot of activities outside the boxing ring. In terms of boxing skills, he is not on the same league with all these nobodies you are dropping here. |
@naijaninja15, no body expects him to live in a mansion at Banana island or Ikoyi, but, for crying out loud, he should be able to afford a decent 2 bedroom flat on the mainland. That he is 'currently homeless' is not acceptable. |
NO COMMENT |
robosky02:Ok, thanks for the info. But he's got some Irish blood in him. I think that's where the boxing gene came from. As you know the average Yoruba guy no get liver to fight. |
solid3:Very true, Igbo traders kept many of them alive in the first 10 years of Nollywood. The traders produced most of the films and paid their salaries. |
praizeblog:My thoughts too. How could he be homeless? I know him very well. |
Anthony Joshua, na Waffi boy e be?. Name checkers no fit confirm dat name. Anyway, boxing is my sport. I fully support any Naija person doing very well in boxing. I really miss the original "Nigerian nightmare" Ike Ibeabuchi. He's doing time now in the US. What happened to Samuel Peters?. |
Op, why da f*uck do we need to know about this?!!. Are you a Lesbo too?. Too many Naija lesbos in the closet. |
