There is this really ugly guy, so ugly that even he is conscious of it without having been told. And so one day he reads in the Bible that every man is made in the image and likeness of God. He keeps the Bible down, picks a mirror, and gets on his knees and declares, "God, please, tell me. Are you like me? Am I made in your image and likeness? Are you ugly like this? Haba!" |

That along with thousands more for your reprobate mind to devour if you can quit thinking of the next London shop to loot for a while. I'll also like you to define the word "natural" for me. You seem very confused really and I like to help retards. Territorialism is also natural in the animal world. Should we adopt that too. I wonder when we started using animals as our yardstick. Kai! Sagamite: Foool! Homosexuality is "development" to you! Man, you have made me uncontrollably laughin'. Obi1kenobi: Still exposing you buffoonery and ignorance, I see. Every single function performed by any living organism is "natural". I couldn't care less what your ignorant Bottom considers religion to be. Animals are incapable of several cognitive functions of human beings. I couldn't bother wasting my time to discuss it with an slowpoke lost in his delusion of wisdom. Google is your friend. That also means a leader giving the order for millions of tribesmen to be decimated is natural, because he is a living organism, and must be granted freedom of expression of his hate. |

But in all sincerity, if Nigeria must develop, we need to check ourselves properly. What 2Adults decide to do with their lives should not be an economy issue. Hommosexuality cannot be stopped but managed and it can only be managed when sociecity accepts them. That would also be your take if your wife and I were making out. gbigbega: a friend of mine just confirm that it's Nkiruka Onyejeocha because the exam was conducted in her constituency It could easily have been any of the other two Abia female Reps. It might as well have been Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola - Ogbomosho North,South/Orire, Hon. Martha H. Bodunrin - Barikinladi/Riyom, or any other ones whose names I have not mentioned. It is a illogical to assume that because it happened in Nkiruka Onyejeocha's constituency, then it is she who is the culprit. No. The journalists have to do justice to this event by mentioning the name of the person involved. |

@Kunletech, you don't just sit down and expect your wife to respect you. You haven't told us what kind of live you have led, and who your crowd is. If you want your wife to respect you, earn that right. While you are alive, you may begin. It won't come sudden, but as you gradually improve yourself, and begin to treat her right, she will begin to respect you and your crowd (if you upgrade to better company). At first the changes will be imperceptible, but after a year or two, you will truly be able to say the respect is just overflowing. |

sara j: I don't understand the question. What are you getting at? If homosexualism were more accepted in Nigeria, then there would be a lot less closet Same-sex men in heterosexual marriages living a lie. It is unfair to the woman who is unknowingly in a sham marriage and unfair to the man for having to keep up the pretence to please x y and z and more importantly unfair to the offspring. Certainly we have heard stories of men who suddenly made volte face, claiming they were man-lover, and they have had wife and children already, in Europe and the Americas. Michael Jordan and Eddie Murphy are examples of this. So answer my question. And why change g-a-y to gay in Nairaland. |

The Rep cannot walk free if the authorities are minded to pursue this to a good conclusion. There will be records to show that the PA was working for her, and thorough investigations and inquests can get the truth from the culprit(s). BCuZiMBlaCk: Hmmm. Now the PA becomes the scapegoat while the REP walks free Come to think of it, it might be any of the female members of the House of Reps from any other state that went to take the exam in Abia in order not to raise eyebrows in her home state. MyJoe: I doubt the guilty one will be shooting her mouth right now, except, perhaps, to say she was falsely accused, which will instantly give the game away. But, then, this is Nigeria. I would bet my life on it that there are many men in Nigeria who are married with children that are closet homosexuals, like the way many men in the West were some years ago when it was more conservative.
I don't condone homophobia or discrimination of any kind by the way. So lets paint a scenario, that it was legalized in Nigeria, and you are married. You get home to find your husband being plugged in the butt by a man. How would you be after that? |

And soon newspapers will begin to be able to give news with names, whether it involved Nkiruka Onyejeocha, Chinenye F. Ike, Nnenna Ijeoma E. Ukeje.
