I have a close fair male mature colleague of mine who has never had a relationship with any girl. This guy is handsome and clean. Anytime we go out to drink,he’s always lamenting on how hard it has been for him with ladies.

I have tried to hook him up with few responsible ladies I know and they each tell me same thing. “Abeg I no like fair guys” “ I can’t date a fair guy”.

My guy keeps telling me that he has never been lucky like me and I should try and hook him up. He one time envied dark skinned guys...and wished he had a darker skin.

Most Nigerian ladies love fair guys and they flock around them like bees. The probable problem with your female friends who rejected the guy is insecurity. They see your friend as a potential flirt who will not be faithful and committed to them. Like someone said, the ladies are likely afraid of competition with other girls, who might likely try to snatch your friend away from them. But because you are also a guy, they may be too shy to admit this to you.
Also, is your friend financially buoyant? Does he ride a car, have a good job or a thriving business, and live in a fine house? If he's just fair,handsome, and tall without these things, your female friends may see him as a fuckboy/sugarboy (Yoruba people call them "fawo raja, meaning guys who use their beauty to sell sex to women). They may not want such a guy who will be a liability to them while they pay the bills.
Many fair guys i know are playboys who use their beauty to search for rich girls/women to feed on. However, if your fair friend is an independent and responsible guy with his own money and a pure heart plus a clean record (in terms of his sex life, past and present) then he has no problem. He should just chill and wait for the right woman who will understand that he has more to offer a lady than his oyinbo skin and good looks.
I like fair skinned guys though.

So this guy's mum is a pastor and he bleeped ladies recklessly on tv, smoked and got drunk several times on the show. What a sharp contrast? What then does she preach to her church members if her son is an embodiment of waywardness and perversion?

Everything you listed here are signs of depression and recluse. You may soon have to relocate to the uncivilized parts of the world like the jungle to live alone (like some oyibo men do when they are tired of civilization and when they hate people). You need to talk to someone because this is a risky path you are threading.
In your case, it means you dislike people and hate their company. If a suicidal thought enters your head, nobody will know. Please seek counselling or therapy before it gets out of hand.
Not calling people is not the problem, but taking it too far to the point of not replying your SM messages, not picking most calls (even if it's an emergency), and other interaction with the world around you (even extending it to your own mum) doesnt sound right to me. What if you have a gf? How will you communicate with her? How do you communicate with your colleagues at work or business clients with this attitude?

I bought a smart TV and everyone knows how costly a smart TV is these days. I have good relationship with my next door neighbor but though he's a very nice guy but he has a flaw which is that he lies a lot. He's single.

He had a small get together in his mini flat so he begged to use my sitting room cos its bigger. I let him and went about my job.

I rarely watch my TV cos I'm very busy with work and come back late tired, eat, shower, browse and sleep. So it was only a week later that I finally got the chance to switch on my TV and behold its damaged and can't display anymore. First off, your headline is misleading, or maybe you failed to include the romance part in the body of your story. Last time i checked, Get together is different from romance.

Secondly, ask him politely if he or any of his guests touched your tv during the party, whether he lies or not, his body language will tell you the truth.

Thirdly, take the tv to a repairer and let him run a check on it. Like some people said, your neighbor may not be responsible but months of redundancy in using the gadget may have affected it. You said you hardly use it. When tvs are not used for months or years, they expire and will refuse to work. It may also be a fake tv like some people said, or something close.

Bottomline, be careful next time when allowing outsiders into your home,especially in your absence. All the best.

My advice is for you to call him with another line if he hasnt blocked your line for calls as well. When he picks,apologise to him for your behavior and ask him to send you his account number,that you want to refund his money. Definitely he will refuse and deny that he blocked you because of your habit. But dont listen to him. Tell him to let you guys meet again. If he agrees,establish your friendship with him again. If he's the type that gives and you know his source of income is legit, tell him you want to work and if he has your interests at heart he would assist you in getting a job. Teach me how to fish and not give me fish all the time, that should be how a relationship/friendship works.

Age has got nothing to do with how one hustle for money, I would rather you give me a job than give me money, trust me it pays better that way.
