PoliticsRe: We Won't Spend N60bn On Mobile Phones For Farmers - Dr. Akinwumi Adesina by chreldb(m): 10:30pm On Jan 04, 2013
@ topic, it is just so pathetic that the of federal ministry agriculture and the FGN are unable to come up with reasonable innovations that would move the agricultural sector forward. All they do is come up with ways to approve the distribution of cash and subsidies to farmers that eventually never get to the farmers. What happened to the 2 billion dollar loan scheme released for farmers during the Yaradua regime? It has gonr into voicemail and nobody is even asking any questions. Now they want to distribute phones to farmers. A farmer not owning a phone is not a farmer in the first place. Its like a farmer not owning a cutlass or hoe or digger or any other tool used for farming. 60 billion naira could be used for better and more tangible things but unfortunately we have a government in place that is extremely and chronically slow, dull and daft no kidding. It is sad i tell you it is indeed pathetic cry.

bigass: 6,000x10,000,000= 60,000,000,000(60billion)
Minister you are an olodo
Although I also liked your post, I think we should let it slide. It was a careless miscalculation on the minister's part so lets just assume it's human error.

Is the author of this letter the same person in the link below? If so then he is not really a nobody like the way many have portrayed him on this thread.

ositadima1: Hahaha, what an irony, the dude u vehemently support was advocating logic and reason as supreme. You come over and make baseless assertions. By the way, is this straw man fallacy? Lol
I dont really get where you are going with your question about straw man fallacy. But as far as I'm concerned any person's opinion relating to this topic devoid of logic is a matter of fact a straw man.

berem: You are right.
Then in that case Seun must be commended for that move! NL should always be perceived to be as neutral and unbiased as possible.

RomanceRe: Top 10 Female Rejection Lines by chreldb(m): 11:25am On Dec 30, 2012
usermane: Then it is time u change that opinion. Even the most alpha male still get rejected cos they might still lack qualities some ladies want. So nobody is perfect
Don't get me wrong, I did not say that no male is immune to rejection. What I mean is that it gets to a point that a guy plays his game so well that those particular rejection lines posted by the OP seldom comes up. For instance, if you out-rightly spin a girl and tell her you have feelings for her, you like her personality and blah bblah..... when she is in her own comfort zone, there is every likelihood that she would cross her legs, listen to what you are saying and when you are done talking she dishes out one of those lines. But if you woo her when her guards are down then such situations could be avoided. I hope you Generally get my point.
RomanceRe: Top 10 Female Rejection Lines by chreldb(m): 11:04pm On Dec 29, 2012
All these rejection line are only given to kids yet to know their left from their right in the dating game, or to total and complete loosers. But never to an Alpha male. cool. Please no attacks its just #my opinion
TravelRe: Canada Reduces Waiting Time For Visa Applicants by chreldb(m): 1:29pm On Dec 28, 2012
Kudos to the ministry of foreign affairs. I remember some people on NL were still criticizing the minister for his effort when he lodged the complaint to the Canadian high commission in Nigeria. But today his efforts have yielded positive results. If only every government official do their work the way they should in a proper manner, Nigeria would be a much better place. Finally as Nigerians no matter how disgruntled we are @ the government we should learn to give it credit whenever it does well as in this particular case and criticize only when necessary. Welldone to the ministry of foreign affairs!
PoliticsRe: GEJ - Nigerians Think I Am Slow Because I Avoid Taking Hasty Decisions by chreldb(m): 11:28am On Dec 26, 2012
taharqa: SHUT dat yr mouth there HYPOCRITE. In as much as i loath Anenih, is he more CORRUPT (or seen as such) than Tinubu yr master? Is Tinubu, d chap u praise to high heavens here and who virtuali CONTROLS govts in d SW, any beta?....SHUT yr trap there again..
What does Tinubu have to do with anything? The poster you replied buttressed the fact that GEJ's excuse of careful thinking for slow decision making is rubbish by citing the Anenih example. So even if Tinubu is corrupt should that justify your president making stu.pid decisions or sppointing non credible and corrrupt people in his admin? You are blindly defending GEJ here. The man is not slow he is simply unfit to be a president. Simple!
SportsRe: Osaze Proposed Himself As Eagles' Captain. by chreldb(m): 10:13am On Dec 24, 2012
If he proposed himself as captain i see nothing wrong with that. After all he has been a national team player for about a decade and to call a spade a spade he has paid his dues to Nigerian football. Even if he is not the oldest player in the squad, that doesn't disqualify him from being captain. Apart from that proposing to be captain does not have enough grounds to exclude a player from the squad. There's more to it IMO.
